@@maxwellbien1992 because 1. it introduces glitches 2. it's abusable (in a few different ways) you can "cancel" some of your mistakes by doing so, so it makes for a fundamentally different strategies with fewer exploits
yo bro - FYI you move a little quicker if you jump when running up an incline (any hill or gradient higher than 0) you speed up when you jump in the air and then slow down to a pace slower than sprinting when you land on a flat surface. However, when you are running up hill, you dont have the slow-down frames when landing, so the overall pace is marginally quicker. Not going to shave off minutes, but good to know! Keep it up.
Not with the current route and strategies I don't believe so. The Current WR holder's run is 1:03 something and I believe his combined best segments are like 1:01:30 or something, so we'd likely need some additional skips found or something in a DLC that makes the run quite a bit faster to see sub 1 hour for this category. Would be really cool if someone figured out how to make it happen though

dude, the from soft community needs to get together and just agree to not save and quit every time they open a damn door. Shit takes way more RL time and it's super annoying to watch.
