You've managed to explain in under three hours what my university has been trying to teach me for three years, and you did it so much better and more clearly!
This was amazing! I’d love to see more real project examples instead of just teaching videos. Real-life projects show actual decisions and constraints, which adds a lot of value. Teaching videos can be more entertaining, but real projects bring way more value to the viewers. Please keep focusing on real examples and less on highly structured and planned content. Thank you for this video!
Dude, this relume auto-generated wireframing is a game changer. I'm part of the 30 Day UI course and I spent a good few hours this week working on wireframes for my capstone project. Now, granted, that's a custom app we're building and maybe it's good to know how to wireframe. But knowing that I can speed up that part of the process rapidly for simpler client websites is a game changer!
I'm a developper who doesn't use framer or webflow but I was still curious about the design process as I always feel overwhelmed by this part. It can be difficult to find "real world" examples and videos that actually explain things in detail and holy crap, this one might just have changed the way I'm going to approach design from now on. Huge thanks, I feel like a new world has opened to me !
@Pingpinnn I am confused between going for Web development or Web design. I heard Web development has more job opportunity and lucrative salary..Can you give me some suggestions?
I'm a Laravel and React developer often working on big projects (e-commerce, different management systems etc), but I still find this video interesting because I want to up my UI/UX game.
@@RockstahRolln There's a lot of myths out there about Laravel and PHP in general, eg that it doesn't "scale". Mastercard, Pfizer and BBC all use Laravel and if it's good enough for them it's good for the rest of us.
Hi Jesse, I hope you're doing well. I have a few questions regarding some design choices: 1. You put the same size button in the nav bar as in the hero section. Should I reduce the size of the button in the nav bar for my projects, or is it fine to use the same size as in the hero section? 2. In the advantage section, you added four advantages in a row. Is it effective to add four advantages in a row, or could it be overwhelming for users when they first view the website? 3. Regarding typography, you used all headings in uppercase (AG) throughout the entire website. Should I apply the same method for my projects, or is it acceptable to use uppercase for the hero section (AG) and capitalize other sections (Ag)? Thank you so much for all the valuable content you share.
Good web design is more than simply a lovely face; it is about providing an intuitive user experience. Using straightforward navigation and rapid load times improves usability and keeps visitors interested.
thank you for posting educational content that is clear, broken down, knowledgable, and thorough -- also thank you for including tools you use to help streamline your process! i feel like there is sooo much information/educational content online, but not everyone is a great teacher, or their teaching style may not help as many people as they could bc of different learning styles - BUT yours helped me! appreciate it & ty for the inspo & value
I'm already 23 minutes in to watching this and have already learned SO much! You mentioned that you would put some links regarding Donald Miller, but I am not seeing them? I would love your reference links to learn more about this person. Thank you!!!
I learned so much, well done! When AI first came out I was terrified of it, but after using it more, and after this tutorial I learned it is to be used as a tool. I always love the plugins and tools you show to speed up our workflow. I might use relume on my future portfolio projects to speed up the process and make them faster!
Absolutely loved it! This has gave me the confidence I needed to start my own thing. Would it be possible to make an in-depth video specifically about strategy?
This feels more like a Relume coloring book than actual web design! 😅 We ran into a similar issue at our agency-our UX designers went all-out with advanced wireframes in Relume, leaving the UI designers with nothing but a glorified paint-by-numbers job. They ended up just slapping on some colors, fonts, and a few basic elements (buttons, lines, you name it) over the Relume layout. The result? A generic, snooze-worthy template that totally missed the mark-no attention to the target audience, brand identity, current trends, or even a hint of interactive creativity. 😬
Hi Jesse, or others, how can u find out more about creating a mood board that’s presented at 55 minutes. Where I can present different fonts and colours. This is great.
Hello @Jesse, I studied your client survey, but it seems to be directed at clients that already have a website, how do I create a client survey that is directed to clients without websites, I.e clients who I cold called or leads I get who I think would be needing a website.
@JesseShowalter First, I would like to say, thank you. You mentioned few things that are out of scope for this free course. For example, you mentioned SEO. Also, the data you have from Chat GPT, you said we can add them to wireframe and skip that document. Anyways, I am mentioning all of this because I am interested in your paid course. So, do you cover those there and in what capacity? Thanks.
Amazing information here thank you. Is this usable if I’m just a solo wedding photographer? I want to update my Wordpress website. And clean it up and make it better with better SEO. Is there any point using things like Relume? Or is there any other Ai tools I can use to speed up the process? I’ve already paid for Hostinger Hosting. Much appreciated my friend.
Dear Jesse, thanks for the video, as a beginner it was amazingly helpful!! Would you share what did you use at the beginning ? ( something Untitled program) Thanks for your help 👩🏼💻
That Hoe Page tho 12:58 😄 Good video Jesse. To be fair, this isnt just a beginner course, this is a course anyone should do regardless of their skill-level just to brush up on their craft and do a realitycheck. Nice work! Aaaaand subscribed
This video feels like pure chaos just jumping around everywhere, and feels rushed but at the same time has a LOT of good info but it's making me feel so anxious with the amount of chaos feeling very unstructured ADHD fueled. Feels like me trying to complete a project before the deadline just making stuff work. Not a bad Course just some critiques for future videos would love a bit more structure and chill but not slow videos, it just seems like there was a lot not accounted for and resulted in jumpy anxiety fueled content as it gets very obvious when you start rushing and start getting more into just getting done with the section and moving on which may be better to just take a break and come back when you gather your thoughts a little more as I find myself doing the same and that helps me a lot to just step back and take a moment to gather myself and my thoughts.
You've managed to explain in under three hours what my university has been trying to teach me for three years, and you did it so much better and more clearly!
Lol! School is not for smart people!
hahahaha
👏
Jesse, you never disappoint. Thank you for creating and helping aspiring designers!
Thanks!! Stoked to be able to do this!!!

Thanks for the mention Jesse! This course is super helpful for anyone starting off in web design!
i guess this is 'the' video that'll get anyone started in the freelancing world of design.

Exactly my case. Definitely subscribing to his channel.
As a React+Laravel dev, I'm excited to start this video now
This has probably saved my journey knowing how to bring an idea to a product by months..

Thanks for the new video! I’m looking forward to seeing what other content you post! Always good to learn as much as you can!

Thank you this was amazing. Just the right pacing, perfect amount of learning. Hooked. Now time to create my own designs.
Such a helpful and valuable video Jesse!

Thanks Jesse God bless you for this
this tutorial is better than my uni teacher whole career
Love this! Curious to know what web developers' perspectives are on using Framer instead of coding from 'scratch'? 🤔
Jesse, should I still do your full figma course: design a job website start to finish tutorial from a year ago?
As a frontend developer still looking to improve my ui/ux
Thank you it was very helpful and educational for me!

Hi, I want to go deeper with your course, are there English subtitles? I am Italian but I study English and with subtitles I understand everything.

One of the best from "JS"

51:02 Which colour palette would you recommend for those with visual impairments?
do you also do maintenance for the website you created?
My Framer interface is different to yours, I can't see how to access plugins for Relume
Hello Jesse! Can you share the figma styleguide file?
Is it possible to get the project for work after this course?
Why not use Framer from the start to design the site?
Dear Jesse, thanks for the video, as a beginner it was amazingly helpful!!
Would you share what did you use at the beginning ? ( something Untitled program)
Thanks for your help 👩🏼💻
That would be figma (/Figjam) I suppose
Bro, how can I get access to your AI prompt for this project so I can replicate it in my other project. It would be really helpful for me
