@lo l I agree with both of you. Because when I saw the mv it didn't even spark anything to me, I didn't even notice Jennie was dressed as a nurse. But if something in a mv is problematic or upsetting to people but did go unnoticed, you have every right to be critical. But in this case, I just think people took it way too far and overthink about it. Criticizing is not bad as you said but keep it civil and with a valid reason why.

The chorus is lead by Rosé and Jennie, Rosé singing the higher harmony, Jennie the main harmony, and Lisa the deep lower part. That is why there is that cry in the chorus, Rosé flips her vowels a lot and does that muddy vowels.

jennie has such a versatile voice, a lot of times she’s criticized for “screamy” sounds, but i think it’s just undeveloped technique and her switch maybe sometimes switches not as smoothly, but she IS the main rapper and was primarily focused on training in rap.

The part in the chorus is I hear both Rose and Jennie's vocal. Due to Jennie's voice color, it stands out and the high pitch part is Rose. I kind of knew this because I once heard somewhere here in youtube where Rose and Jennie's chorus in As If It's Your Last were mixed together. And now they legit did it and I'm crying from the heavens--I just love it so much.
I think it's also the way their voices are layered in production, jennie's voice is meant to be the main voice for that part and rosé's is supporting it (that has nothing to do with talent btw, it's just a stylistic choice and it works heavenly)
And also on the Outro after Lisa's 1,2 Lisa's voice was the main focus of the 'Lovesick Girls'
Ivan Law honestly Jennie and Rosè’s voice blending together was one of the best things to come out of this comeback after Jisoo’s killer lines

Rose's voice can be heard faintly from the back because she is in the hidden / back vocal. You can already hear Rose's voice in the hidden vocals of many parties in Blackpink songs, but it doesn't mean she will sing it on the stage. Therefore, whoever's voice comes from the front is that part.

The “we are born to be alone” melody vocals is a blend of Jennie’s and Rose’s voices. They hit the same notes but Jennie’s full voice is at the forefront while Rose’s is in the back. Which shows both of their ranges and how different they are but how well they match.

honestly it could be difficult for some ppl to differentiate rosé and jennie’s voice when they sing together but rosé’s voice is brighter and more vocally high. and in this if you listen closely the bright high notes are rosé but jennie is also singing along with it but with a constant and fuller note.

It's rosé and jennie in the chorus though. Rosé was the one hitting the higher notes at the end, more like supporting jennie. It was a nice contrast. Jennie with her more prominent voice and Rosé doing more of the adlibs/high note. They did the same thing with Bet You Wanna.

Jennie is so versatile and talented, she's outstanding as a vocal and even more outstanding as a rapper, her flow and the style of her raps are always different, and she suprises us everytime, but I feel like YG is holding back her skills as a rapper its so sad.

Rose' is my favorite vocalist in Blackpink. Such a unique voice she has. Jenni has a good a voice as well and this song definitely made me like her voice more than I did before. I have to give it to Jisoo! Her singing is has really improved over the years.
