hello race driver love the video, I have a tip for making your videos less pixelated. if you upload in 1440p and up your bitrate despite not playing or recording it in 1440p, youtube will use a different Codec to render forcing your video to use the higher end codec, the reason why this happens is because youtube will prioritize youtube videos with over 100,000 views
Oh boy this is gonna be the longest comment I ever post in this. So here we go. "ahem" Background music please (plays Callista by Saki Kaskas). I don't blame you dude. Some of these games do have flaws though. Bugs, glitches, errors and typos. I played so much racing games it's like an adventure. I played Ridge Racer, Need For Speed, Burnout, Flatout, Midnight Club, Gran Turismo, Forza, Colin Mcrae Rally/DiRT, Juiced, Hot Wheels, so many of them. Gran Turismo makes me a car nerd to discover every car in every continent like cars from USA, Europe, Asia (mostly Japan) and Australia like the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore from V8 Supercars. Props for you Australians (thumbs up). And also teaches me how to tune up my own car. Engine, chassis, tires, brakes, forced induction like turbos and superchargers, aerodynamics, weight reduction, rollcages and much more. Don't forget music. Doesn't matter which genre of music I'm listening. I usually listen to rock and metal the most like Goldfinger, Fall Out Boy, Autopilot Off, In Flames, Rob Zombie, Pitchshifter, Fear Factory, The Ramones, Papa Roach, Sum 41, etc. But mostly I listen this interesting genre of music from an anime Initial D called Eurobeat. Like seriously I'm been listening eurobeat for like 10 years or so. I'm starting to think eurobeat makes me wanna focus on every racing I played. Master every cars capabilities and master every course (gotta watch out for blind corners and blind spots). Anyway that's pretty much it. This is for you Racedriver43 and have a very good day and god bless you. Peace (v sign).
@@austinaustiebear350 nothing personal at all but initial d eurobeat makes me want to mash my skull into the pavement until i bleed out, appreciate the comment tho, have a good one
It aged like shit. Piss filter, extremely bad rubber banding bs where instead of trying to drive as good as you can, you strategize to overtake at the last possible second, so rubber banding doesn't activate, shitty handling where if you start drifting at 10 degrees, you lose all of your speed, cops either being braindead idiots for who you need to wait to complete your milestone or being inescapeable at all.
Lul hahaha but their toxicity behavior is possibly being a problem and Gamer Alex had enough with this matter. I also did not like some Criterion and Black Box fanboys went too much
I enjoyed Most Wanted 2005, but yeah I find this game overrated as hell. I'd rather take the Diablo SV, Murciélago, Zonda Cinque or even the Reventón cop car over the M3 GTR.
@J. B. Imo HP2010/remaster and the Run are the worst ones. I just played The Run. 10 years ago I loved it. Went back to it, now it's terrible. Plays just like HP2010
@@sambeezy007wtf? Hot Pursuit 2010/2020 is the most improved version of the original concept behind NFS, and what exactly do you find bad in it? Brake to drift? It is just silly to say a game is horrible because of one singular mechanic that could be easily avoided by pressing the handbrake. Even sillier is to say that it is bad because it does not have insane amounts of customization, Criterion never needed or wanted to put it in the game
I'd rather take the f*cking M3 GT2 of Shift over the M3 GTR, because at least it looks good and is better while not being absolutely praised like a god
It is a ok game. But it aged like milk. And piss yellow filter is worse than in Dirt 1. My biggest problem the cars have a very very heavy feeling. After Carbon I found Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix. Yeah MC3 is on a complete different level.
bro, some genuine advice for the video, editor to editor: less mic close ups, they really hurt the audio better sound mixing, and don't use vocal tracks when speaking, it's really confusing. it's all quiet even on max volume (unless you did that to balance the earrape out) if you put some images with text give the viewer some time to read maybe try to speak words a little bit more clearly? it adds up with the quietness, it's hard to understand what your saying agreed with your points man, not a fan of mw2005 myself, but it wouldn't hurt to present your case with a little less emotional bias and more clear arguments, you're not gonna be taken seriously when sounding like an edgy teenager
never used vocal tracks before, will definitely consider that advice for the future, usually stuff ends up quiet because i usually edit on full volume (not a good idea ik), the presentation being rather "emotional" or "edgy" is purposeful, i don't care if people take me seriously i don't put that much into these vids, kinda just do them for the hell of it at this point
a rant from me (a nobody) 1:31 pretty accurate presentation of most wanted's boomer infested community (ft. KuruHS, DustinEden, and more...) either way the mods for this game... there are 3 categories which you can pick from! so here's all of the categories but not limited to... mod packs - those snazzy ass "4K MOST WANTED HD PACK HOLY FUCKING SHIT" with like 9 billion cars added which sometimes are as big in size as the whole fucking game. oh and you can't forget the most overused extended customization mod which works on ONLY... some cars (RIPBOZO) with nothing else added but rescaled textures and maybe even a new filter (anything that's better than that piss and shit filter is cool) readded content - that one most wanted beta mod that flopped and added some cars, slight changes and a gamemode or two and that's it... i mean it sorta does do the job at captivating the "NFSMW 2005 BETA!!! ZOMG!!!" feeling but it's nothing but a remake, if you want the most authentic experience just check out the alpha 124, the xbox 360 beta build, or maybe even the game's demo on ps2 pepega - kuru loves praising the shit out of it cause some guy made it into a twitch meme infested shithole that is the pepega mod, where everything is filled to the brim with the most random unfunny shit you could ever ask for... and the worst part is the whole game DOESN'T EVEN CHANGE. all of the cars are replaced with some barely working cars from nfsmods and the soundtrack is even worse... made by mr java man himself falafee... including totally NOT royalty free music some unsuspecting walkthrough youtuber will definitely get a copyright strike for... "hey but i can race the top gear men, sonic and motherfucking kuru himself with the funny peepo on a fucking bicycle in a nfs mod... my life is complete" - mw 2005 soy wojak the powerspike: ok so you are a kuruhs fan, you got your underground 2 save ready, and you buy the golf... what do you do next? oh, you use it for like half of the game by upgrading it a tad bit (EXCEPT THE TURBO! MYBADBRO) after beating a few chapters of the game you could either A) buy a car B) use a blacklist car (most of them fucking suck bro) C) keep on using the golf (WHYBRO) you could beat most of the bosses or maybe even the entire game by using a singular car, it may be harder, but it defeats the whole purpose of upgrading your car arsenal, barely giving you time to check the other ones out, now unlike in UG2 you get enough money to buy other cars, check them out, sorry pal most of them either suck or the power creep fucked them up, you'll finish the car with like 2-3 cars of your own (excluding blacklist cars) some of the cars are EVEN A SCAM. like the mercedes cars... (except the slr mclaren) they are awful, they don't steer as well, they turn into a particle accelerator upon touching a wall... they just suck. the challenge series: as a person who first played carbon i was kinda disappointed seeing that the entire challenge series followed the CHECKPOINT + PURSUIT CHALLENGE formula... with some "funny goofy traffic cars" added on top, oh and do you want to survive 30 minutes with condition 5 cops with a paperweight that's the gallardo? you don't? fuck you man... carbon had the same thing but it wasn't THAT BAD. it had more variety with it's events...
i mean beta content mod is fairly good i'd say, it has some genuine minds behind it and not 15 year olds who think that age-old twitch memes are peak humor, just limited a bit by current tools 100% agree with you tho besides mercedes being trash, i actually quite enjoyed the clk (no comment on the sl), handbrake + boost through turns, it's great the way it throws itself around corners
@@racedriver43 the game also loves glitches... 1) the pursuit/evade bar going at turbo speed either you're just hiding or being separated BY A WALL, the gui will decide "WAIT THIS GUY SHOULD BE BUSTED" and "BUT WAIT THEY'RE STILL HIDING" 2) the game removing your heat so you had a pursuit, you gathered up your heat, and the game just... wanted to feel like crashing. you load your save again only to see that... your heat 5 you've quite a bit of time on basically got wiped, or just halved. depends. 3) game using traffic cars for roadblocks the most famous (infamous) one... you come across a roadblock. aaaand one of the cars is a firetruck for example, in some scenarios, it doesn't really matter. but if the game has a chance to add a truck (the ones with basically infinite mass) welp, you ain't getting through that, by how simple the glitch is, i guess the game stores the cop cars used for roadblocks, and accidently puts in a traffic car... 4) woo i skip the blacklist rival woooo basically when you are supposted to pick the cards for a pink slip, money, or the junkman parts, there's a continue button on the congratulations screen, take your mouse, and click the right corner of the button. and you skip a blacklist rival. 5) golf's upgraded turbo being worse than stock turbo what happened here 6) the game's reset, if you press R in a pursuit, that's like ASKING to get busted, and they hear you. you'll get arrested INSTANTLY. the game can intiate a different reset (which performs the same as the R key except it doesn't get you busted) by you being on your roof. but if you are surfing cops, and you're on a high heat level... well GG! there goes your run. this isn't to hate on mw 2005 cause the most wanted fans deeefinitely aren't holding me at gun point so i won't talk smack about the game... definitely... my favorite game is carbon, cause i grew up with it, but it's MUCH MUCH MESSIER compared to most wanted. most wanted, had a patch and fixed some stuff... carbon also did have a patch, did it fix something? i dunno. i can teleport to the canyon by simply starting up a canyon race, losing, going to any race by using GPS, and simply SWAPPING MY CREW MEMBER when prompted to start the race. wooooow. or i can just. simply fly over to the canyon at mach fucking 10 cause somebody did an oopsie with the rival crew challenges (who tf did those anyway)
i like most wanted and carbon as they are but the piss filter really ruins most wanted lmfao, the only real complaint i can have aside from numbering the 23912839123 oddities the game has (this game was made in 2005)
@@papajons_s the reset thing makes me genuinely angry, because it's not made with the idea that you're genuinely stuck in mind and if they really wanted to make it fair, they should've just disabled the reset feature until it detects the car is stuck on an object or sideways/upside down. i get the whole idea with pursuits being you have to do risky things to get away but sometimes the physics bug or you get shit for luck and have to accept your fate
Honestly if it had higher contrast and more clarity the piss filter could've been really cool stylisation, but instead of it looks muggy af Although I like linkin park music videos so take this with a grain of salt lol
good video even tho I like this game, I agree with the points about the rubberbanding and lack of customization, plus in the later stages the game turns into a damn slog
Everybody has their preferences. While a majority of people are not a fan of it, and understandably so, I like to keep that early 2000s piss filter in Most Wanted, because that's the artistic direction the developers intended. It fits with that overall, quote on quote "edgy" vibe that Most Wanted gives off. Combine that with the selection of music from around the time, the game being set during Autumn, and just how dilapidated and run-down a good portion of Rockport is. Good video!
black box nfs as a whole gets way more credit than it ever deserved honestly, they're not bad games but post ug1 they all feel very unfinished and incomplete
@@racedriver43 Yeah, they do. I feel like the annual nature of those games really ate away at their quality, especially by the time of Undercover. Still, could be worse. Could be Ghost's NFS games
@@0uttaS1TE you're right, it could be trying to live off the success of 10+ year old games because they refuse to put in actual effort to fix the issues with their games and blame the playerbase instead of their own incompetence "oh you guys couldn't handle an actual grip model" no, you're just too lazy to make one lol
Is it okay if I do one of these types of videos on my channel for Midnight Club 3? It’s my all time favorite game, but I recognize that it has flaws and they need to be pointed out. I’ll credit you for the inspiration, of course.
@@MidnightApex-ml6jcI completely forgot I made this comment lol. I may end up making it along with a couple other videos if I ever get the motivation to do them. Honestly I feel that the content I actually want to make is about sports and not about racing games (and I still don’t do sports content because I’m lazy about this kinda stuff).
I wish I could follow your half-dead voice so I could understand the video. Seriously, I´m getting tired of 05/u2 fanboys. Ok, now that I have watched it with subtitles on I gotta say it´s very good There are some points I don´t entirely agree with, like that this game doesn´t have good mods. But overall, you brought some really good points to the table and yes, the last thing this game needs is a remaster.
considering even R* couldn't even came up with proper remaster of 3d trilogy GTA games to save their lives, I prefer the golden era NFS games stayed that way, especially since this is EA we we're discussing about
The reason I don’t want an mw remaster is the same reason that I don’t want a burnout 3 remaster, since I know EA will definitely find a way to screw it up
I enjoyed this game a lot. But i always hated the bmw. Why was that little bmw over the srt10? The porsche? I mean. The car looks great. But i didn't felt it like a god tier thing. It was just a crapy bmw.
Can’t wait to see the black box fanboys get angry at this Now after being able to watch this video, as usual, you made a ton of good points, great video
1:35 Tbh, Update 2 isn't bad - it's quite good with new cars and Xbox stuff added, but I do agree with the author of the mod that later regretted adding cars not from 2005, since seeing modern McLaren with Lambos and Porsches from vanilla game is a peak poor-modding choices. His Carbon modpack was waaaay better because he didn't add any newer cars. Also Update 1 added only graphics stuff and was... meh.
Honestly, as someone who replayed Most Wanted several times from 2011 to like 2017... this game does kinda suck. First of all: the story. It's one big mess if you ask me. So you're this guy escaped from Palmont City (or just appear out of thin air if you ignore Carbon) without any personal info on you, and you just so happen to own a non road-legal race car that destroys the whole competition. Then this evil Vin Diesel who looks like the average British hooligan sabotages your car and somehow has the knowledge and cash to repair a million dollar race car without awakening the suspicion of the police? I know video games shouldn't have logic but I always felt like they're playing too much with their imagination. Then there's this Mia chick who we find out works undercover at the end ofthe game, but hacks her boss's phone and database so you can look up your felonies while also providing you with helpful knowledge to escape and outwit the police, which includes property damage in the millions. Realistically speaking, this could put her in the position of a terrorist when you realize what info she has given to the player about her own men. Even if this was all done to arrest all of the Blacklist, why would she help you escape Rockport? She doesn't just have weak character motivation, but instead wants chaos for the fun of it. Any film writer can tell you these are signs of a badly written and unrealistic character. For the characters themselves, I keep hearing from stupid fanboys about how they remembered every single one of them and their names when they're literally just a picture and a car with zero personality traits. You got like one or two voice lines from Ronny or Earl and that's it. I feel like there could have been more room for voiceovers and casting, after all even Underground had more memorable rivals. Now to the game itself: the car selection is honestly really lackluster. While we had so many interesting cars in UG1 and 2 like the JDM collection and 60s muscle cars, especially the early stage just feels empty. Cobalt SS, Fiat Punto, Audi A4, grandpa spec Cadillac? Who asked for these? And were they really worth replacing the R34 GTR and Charger R/T for? Sure you have your supercars later on but I feel like this game could have used a lot more variety from the beginning. Not to mention cars like the SL500 were 2x above the price of the other cars in its range while ALSO performing worse. I may be in the minority here but I really despise the performance tuning system. You have to adjust stats for every single car and figure out the correct combo after buying it or you'll either oversteer after a slight turn or be outperformed if you don't touch it in the first place. Sure you can play without it but you never know the impact of handling and power if you don't. I'll finish this comment when I feel like it.
The story is a cobbled mess, I agree. One detail that seriously irks me is the original PS2 Demo M3 GTR was a lot slower and instead of having the final racecar engine sound it was just a regular M3 but suped up. The whole thing with your car being sabotaged also makes no sense because how is Razor going to know where you are staying and also find a moment to spare where he can damage your car? "Huge oil slick" would indicate that he probably just gouged the bottom of the oil pan but there's another lapse here because then you would've already been leaking oil and Mia would have caught it. To consider this all as well, it's assumed that if the car was starved of oil, the M3's entire motor seizes and you know what that means? Duh, a new motor. He has a V8 GT Mustang and the stupid amount money he'd spend on fixing it or buying a new motor he could've made his Mustang 10x as fast... Sure people are that dumb IRL but someone like Razor doesn't quite strike me as that brain-dead. I also really agree about the lack of any real story presence of the other blacklist drivers, they have cars and faces and while those alone can be memorable, there was so much more wasted opportunity to give them way more personality. Let's not forget how useless the M3 is overall in getting back because by end-game you have cars eons faster and more proficient anyways, what's the point? If I have let's say an all around stage 3 Mercedes SLR why am I just going to toss my personalized beast for this car I used to have outside of some pointlessly visceral vendetta to win back the player's old car which is now obsolete anyways? It's just inane lol. As for the early car selection I agree it sucks but IDK about selections like GTRs or Chargers really being much better per say, I personally like having more unique choices or options to choose from. Given this though the game is missing a LOT, Nissan, Mitsubishi (aside the Evo), Honda (they were being stubborn at the time), and lackluster Toyota presence too. Your starting selections are between a European market exclusive hatchback, an american coupe, a japanese luxury sedan, and another euro hatchback, which the only two of these I could actually see realistically being common cars for racers are Cobalts and Puntos, maybe Golfs. A4 is out there, CTS is really out there, Monaro is a wasted slot given the existence of the GTO, etc. Pretty mediocre car selection over all and the UG2 carryover parts and kits are a travesty and should've been gutted entirely to focus on other things. Is the game a childhood relic of mine? Sure, but there are many, many glaring issues with it a lot of people seem to just overlook or not care about. Any means of opposing the idea it is one of the best examples of a racing game is met with serious force.
Thank you for making this video, seriously i'm getting sick of all MW lovers, sure the game is good at the time(feels outdated now unless modded but it doesn't make it mindblowing like NFSUC which it wasn't a great game originally) with the gameplay, graphics and the pursuit, but i'm not crazy like them and maybe the fact that i was born in 2000s. For me, this game is good(not great). The pursuit system is something special even tho is pretty darn boring on first heat levels but when escalate it to higher one, it gets pretty fun. Races is something that you would expect even blacklist duel, graphics is looking good on consoles(Primarily the x360 version) worst on PC(i can forgive it if i was playing on low end pc), gameplay is solid with it's sense of speed and on how they handle and great police chatter(Undercover takes the cake tho, but still they're both great). Overall, it's just a fine game and i don't know how anyone really like this game THAT MUCH. And for more brutal honesty from me, Carbon takes the cake for being the most overrated as i play it myself back in the day and did NOT like it, that deserves a video tbh. I still take NFS HP2(PS2 version) as my favorite now that i play it a lot more than i was on before when i still had the system or UG1 and 2 for customization over this.
NFS Carbon didn't actually had a chance blossom because they had to get done a year earlier so they didn't have enough time plan out any thing on the map and canyons stuff like that there are beta and cut features on videos now. No I do not Carbon is that overrated because game wasn't fully completed to be overrated and is not that overhyped. Oh yeah the game is better then Most Wanted is some ways especially the physics.
My biggest problem with Carbon is the fact that you can't earn more than 500 bucks when replaying a mission to maybe gain some money for a car you want.
I FOUND ANOTHER PERSON THAT HATES UNDERGROUND 2? It always felt so boring to me, so slow and the track design was horrible. The customization was great, that was it. I know it has flaws, though Midnight Club 3 is my favourite "street racing" game where you customize cars.
@@MidnightApex-ml6jc I mean compared to what was out at the time, it was outstanding, sure not as good as Carbon, though Carbon also sucks and I don't ever see people hyping that game up.
Same here; I love to trigger these morons; with each facts such as: -Specific car manufacture (Such as Nissan for example to proof the hypocrisy of those who are JDM fanboys that constantly bashing the newer NFS games; due to the lack of toyotas and yet; they glorify MW05). -The weak customization system -The first NFS that started-up the lazy practice of copy & paste the same model; with different name files (which are the Holden Monaro brothers and the Mercedes SL brothers). -M3 GTR's myths about it's "victories" on its short-time career in the earlier '00s before to be banned-off the American LeMans. -How NOT to begging a for damn remaster; that can be turned into something much worst than the GTA Trilogy "Definitive Edition" and choose to pick-up overhaul mods instead. -The difference in between of a AAA developer and a Amateur Modder developer.
@@racedriver43 As someone who grow up playing both games, I fully agree with this. Altrough sometimes I consider MW a little bit more overrated than UG2 but most times both games are tied with the title of the most overrated racing game of all time. -late reply soz-
carbon felt like most wanted but worse, only real improvements being car list and customization ug2 felt like a terrible rushed cash-in sequel that had no reason to exist other than "we need money" and disconnects from all that made the first game good

Ahem local man here with a complaint call about the suspect which is this here game, which is a fine play in small segments. That is to say it's a fine game to play but dammit there are things that piss me off about it. If everything peoples can say to this are "ye suk" or "bruh" (this word suks unless you say it in a certain way as in trying to emulate Finnish language by saying it like it would be any Finnish word with Finnish language rules, if using English language rules, just say "brother" to begin with, I don't speak any of those slangeronis) then ye all know I am right as at that point peoples don't even have arguments against all this as they can't even say anything to counterpoint all this, instead going straight to insults kek. #1 - Rubberbanding can go suk duk diks or some crap I hate that crap. #2 - Licensed soundtrack mostly sucks sue me to hell. The original cop music compositions are absolutely fine though. Thank fuk I can turn that licensed crap off. #3 - Challenge series sukd diks with the fact that doing it lowers your Career heat (!) and for its easyness and the fact that it was always one milestone only with those cop ones, what, be chased for one minute and escape, do 2 infractions and escape (while the escape counts as one that you need), hit 3 cop cars und escape and easy crap like that. ARGH! There should've been multiple goals especially at the end side to make that crap WAY HARDER, it's too easy as it stands. Even the Black Edition -only Challenge, that one was way too piss easy. The only difficult challenges were the ones in 41-50 range (and even those aren't so bad once you know your crap) and maybe 68 as it was not that hard but tedious with its longness, should've had other goals with it to pass the time, such as make a run that would get all the single chase 1st positions with that Rap Sheet thingy had it been done in Career mode kek. #4 - Rap Sheet is fine you get most of that by just playing the damn game, but having to grind some of that LENGTH and 500 OF THOSE INFRACTIONS to get 100% of it suks diks. Why can't you get infractions multiple times per chase dammit?! #5 - First two cop heats suk. Also heat level 6 at the end when ye is Der Most Wanted guy and yet after you escape you are then magically back with the BMW and can use safehouses and heat is stuck to level 5 what. #6 - The fact that you somehow lose heat levels when dealing with cops and then loading a save unless done in some exact way that is get busted and then using a get out of jail card and then loading the game (do not worry, the game does not autofukkensave after busting until you leave the safehouse if you have that crap on, dunno if it does that when you pay fines with cash instead I have no idea, it doesn't with the card thingy). #7 - The bounty requirements reaching the end of the game are too damn low, you get too much of that crap just by doing all the milestone crap the game gives you. #8 - The BOUNTY MILESTONE makes no damn sense, you get more bounty by increasing your bounty, what the shite. Give me some cop destruction milestones instead, why aren't there any of those? Also why isn't there a milestone requiring all 8 infractions? Those are piss easy to get (on PC at least, with PS2 if you don't do Hit & Run as early as you can it's impossible quite very soon since there the traffic gets removed quite very soon after the chase begins especially in later heat levels). #9 - AM I THE ONLY ONE AROUND HERE WHO DOESN'T GIVE A ABOUT THE CUSTOMIZATION [sic]? The only crap you need is that power upgrade stuff, screw the visual side outside the actual car color (piss yellow is fine sue me, so is shiny grey). I like my cars STOCK thank yous. #10 - Is the civilian vehicle roadblock bugging a PC thing I've only seen it there. Suks. #11 - The BMW you lose suks duk diks anyway, the nitrous oxide on it also sucks ass and you can't even power upgrade that crap when you get it back, absolutely sucks. #12 - The game is absolutely quite very perfectly playable to this day natively without the Need for Mods (heh) and crap, I've been doing just that lately, playing the PC port (random crashes suk diks but fuk it me is not modding the game for that) with the actual DVD (that is not a CD release peoples dammit, is a DVD5 DVD disc) inside me Win XP PC (I'm also writing this crap with it as I speak) and before you ask, despite you peoples reading this not believing it, I can live with how the game is natively, as in it having a 4:3 resolution (wideness is overrated and you all know it) and with all the oddness included and those KEYBOARD ONLY CONTROLS. Perfectly playable. I can do it so can you the person reading this, there's no excuses, you're just a lazyass. (All you peoples saying stuff is "literally unplayable" don't know what that even means. Or it's used as some sarcastic statement. To me it means just that, it has to be 'literally unplayable' - if you can play it somehow in any shape and form, it's not literally unplayable dammit, it's instantly upgraded to playable status. Increase the wanted status all you want, that's how it fricken is.) #13 - The PC version keeps telling me to PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE yet only certain keys work with that, suks. #14 - The mouse in PC side sometimes just disappears. Why is it even there anyway? You can just clickety clackety with your damn board of keys. #15 - As with Burnoutter 3, I don't want any of those remakesters, I'd rather "try something new" as the cop chatter sometimes says. I mean we have the game already, just play that for fuks sake. Plus the remakester isn't and wouldn't even be technically the same game as the original anyway. "Remakestered game is the remakestered game, you can't say it's the original game." -Local man #16 - Enjoyed those earrape moments in the video. No, but seriously. Why peoples hate those they are great to emphasize a point dammit.
This video has worse audio mixing than FH4's car sounds, your voice is often inaudible because of the loudass bgm and because I have to turn the volume up to 200% to understand you, the "loud earrape = funny" moments (e.g. 0:32) could make a handicapped person jump out of his seat
shit with bgm i'll reconsider, wasn't that loud but as someone said, it's not good when your vid has vocals which to be fair i never dealt with vocal tracks in these kinda vids before, i kinda just do these vids for kicks these days, not really for any other discernable reason
With the way they sort-of halved it my point is not that it isn't more thorough. My main complaint is that because of them doing this the game in turn suffers with some of the customization features carried over. As i'd explained, the reduction of 4 vinyl layers to 1 is a serious crunch, and they didn't even make new vinyls or decals to account for this, they took a bunch of stuff from UG and ran with it. It makes liveries on cars look unfinished or extremely barren because some vinyls were made with being a bottom layer in mind. This is my only really major complaint regarding it. If you asked me I would've removed like half of the UG2 carryover customization parts in the game anyways because they look like garbage lol.
While I agree with you on many standpoints, you could've brought them across without insulting the many many hours of work of modders trying to keep the game fresh and improve the exact flaws that you mentionned
@@racedriver43 AJ Lethals' car mods are solid enough, well most cars ported via Binary because the modloader version is now inferior. For the police AI, you have that usual Rentless Cops mod. @@racedriver43 just curious what do you think of Hot Pursuit 2? It’s my personal favorite NFS. On the PS2 at least. It has flaws, yes, but I have more fun with that game than any of the other ones.
The PS2 version of it is garbage, you don't feel the same speed of the car as on the PC or 360 since the fps runs worse and also the customization is one of the worst things in this game, the worst game in the franchise. And there is also a blacklist that is not even made up of actors, just photos taken.

Background music please (plays Callista by Saki Kaskas).
I'm starting to think eurobeat makes me wanna focus on every racing I played. less mic close ups, they really hurt the audio
better sound mixing, and don't use vocal tracks when speaking, it's really confusing. it's all quiet even on max volume (unless you did that to balance the earrape out)
if you put some images with text give the viewer some time to read
maybe try to speak words a little bit more clearly? it adds up with the quietness, it's hard to understand what your saying
agreed with your points man, not a fan of mw2005 myself, but it wouldn't hurt to present your case with a little less emotional bias and more clear arguments, you're not gonna be taken seriously when sounding like an edgy teenager
never used vocal tracks before, will definitely consider that advice for the future, usually stuff ends up quiet because i usually edit on full volume (not a good idea ik), the presentation being rather "emotional" or "edgy" is purposeful, i don't care if people take me seriously i don't put that much into these vids, kinda just do them for the hell of it at this point

a rant from me (a nobody)
1:31 pretty accurate presentation of most wanted's boomer infested community (ft. KuruHS, DustinEden, and more...)
either way the mods for this game...
there are 3 categories which you can pick from! so here's all of the categories but not limited to...
mod packs - those snazzy ass "4K MOST WANTED HD PACK HOLY FUCKING SHIT" with like 9 billion cars added which sometimes are as big in size as the whole fucking game. oh and you can't forget the most overused extended customization mod which works on ONLY... some cars (RIPBOZO)
with nothing else added but rescaled textures and maybe even a new filter (anything that's better than that piss and shit filter is cool)
readded content - that one most wanted beta mod that flopped and added some cars, slight changes and a gamemode or two and that's it... i mean it sorta does do the job at captivating the "NFSMW 2005 BETA!!! ZOMG!!!" feeling but it's nothing but a remake, if you want the most authentic experience just check out the alpha 124, the xbox 360 beta build, or maybe even the game's demo on ps2
pepega - kuru loves praising the shit out of it cause some guy made it into a twitch meme infested shithole that is the pepega mod, where everything is filled to the brim with the most random unfunny shit you could ever ask for... and the worst part is the whole game DOESN'T EVEN CHANGE. all of the cars are replaced with some barely working cars from nfsmods and the soundtrack is even worse... made by mr java man himself falafee... including totally NOT royalty free music some unsuspecting walkthrough youtuber will definitely get a copyright strike for...
"hey but i can race the top gear men, sonic and motherfucking kuru himself with the funny peepo on a fucking bicycle in a nfs mod... my life is complete" - mw 2005 soy wojak
the powerspike:
ok so you are a kuruhs fan, you got your underground 2 save ready, and you buy the golf... what do you do next? oh, you use it for like half of the game by upgrading it a tad bit (EXCEPT THE TURBO! MYBADBRO)
after beating a few chapters of the game you could either A) buy a car B) use a blacklist car (most of them fucking suck bro) C) keep on using the golf (WHYBRO)
you could beat most of the bosses or maybe even the entire game by using a singular car, it may be harder, but it defeats the whole purpose of upgrading your car arsenal, barely giving you time to check the other ones out, now unlike in UG2 you get enough money to buy other cars, check them out, sorry pal most of them either suck or the power creep fucked them up, you'll finish the car with like 2-3 cars of your own (excluding blacklist cars)
some of the cars are EVEN A SCAM. like the mercedes cars... (except the slr mclaren)
they are awful, they don't steer as well, they turn into a particle accelerator upon touching a wall... they just suck.
the challenge series:
as a person who first played carbon i was kinda disappointed seeing that the entire challenge series followed the CHECKPOINT + PURSUIT CHALLENGE formula... with some "funny goofy traffic cars" added on top, oh and do you want to survive 30 minutes with condition 5 cops with a paperweight that's the gallardo? you don't? fuck you man... carbon had the same thing but it wasn't THAT BAD. it had more variety with it's events...
i mean beta content mod is fairly good i'd say, it has some genuine minds behind it and not 15 year olds who think that age-old twitch memes are peak humor, just limited a bit by current tools
100% agree with you tho besides mercedes being trash, i actually quite enjoyed the clk (no comment on the sl), handbrake + boost through turns, it's great the way it throws itself around corners
@@racedriver43 the game also loves glitches...
1) the pursuit/evade bar going at turbo speed
either you're just hiding or being separated BY A WALL, the gui will decide "WAIT THIS GUY SHOULD BE BUSTED" and "BUT WAIT THEY'RE STILL HIDING"
2) the game removing your heat
so you had a pursuit, you gathered up your heat, and the game just... wanted to feel like crashing.
you load your save again only to see that... your heat 5 you've quite a bit of time on basically got wiped, or just halved. depends.
3) game using traffic cars for roadblocks
the most famous (infamous) one... you come across a roadblock. aaaand one of the cars is a firetruck for example, in some scenarios, it doesn't really matter. but if the game has a chance to add a truck (the ones with basically infinite mass) welp, you ain't getting through that, by how simple the glitch is, i guess the game stores the cop cars used for roadblocks, and accidently puts in a traffic car...
4) woo i skip the blacklist rival woooo
basically when you are supposted to pick the cards for a pink slip, money, or the junkman parts, there's a continue button on the congratulations screen, take your mouse, and click the right corner of the button. and you skip a blacklist rival.
5) golf's upgraded turbo being worse than stock turbo
what happened here
6) the game's reset, if you press R in a pursuit, that's like ASKING to get busted, and they hear you. you'll get arrested INSTANTLY.
the game can intiate a different reset (which performs the same as the R key except it doesn't get you busted) by you being on your roof.
but if you are surfing cops, and you're on a high heat level... well GG! there goes your run.
this isn't to hate on mw 2005 cause the most wanted fans deeefinitely aren't holding me at gun point so i won't talk smack about the game... definitely...
my favorite game is carbon, cause i grew up with it, but it's MUCH MUCH MESSIER compared to most wanted.
most wanted, had a patch and fixed some stuff... carbon also did have a patch, did it fix something? i dunno.
i can teleport to the canyon by simply starting up a canyon race, losing, going to any race by using GPS, and simply SWAPPING MY CREW MEMBER when prompted to start the race. wooooow.
or i can just. simply fly over to the canyon at mach fucking 10 cause somebody did an oopsie with the rival crew challenges (who tf did those anyway)
i like most wanted and carbon as they are but the piss filter really ruins most wanted lmfao, the only real complaint i can have aside from numbering the 23912839123 oddities the game has (this game was made in 2005)
@@papajons_s the reset thing makes me genuinely angry, because it's not made with the idea that you're genuinely stuck in mind and if they really wanted to make it fair, they should've just disabled the reset feature until it detects the car is stuck on an object or sideways/upside down. i get the whole idea with pursuits being you have to do risky things to get away but sometimes the physics bug or you get shit for luck and have to accept your fate

even tho I like this game, I agree with the points about the rubberbanding and lack of customization, plus in the later stages the game turns into a damn slog
Good video!
The PC port of MW needs more heat tbh.

Tbh, Update 2 isn't bad - it's quite good with new cars and Xbox stuff added, but I do agree with the author of the mod that later regretted adding cars not from 2005, since seeing modern McLaren with Lambos and Porsches from vanilla game is a peak poor-modding choices.

Coming back to this, I agree.

-The weak customization system
-The first NFS that started-up the lazy practice of copy & paste the same model; with different name files (which are the Holden Monaro brothers and the Mercedes SL brothers).

Altrough sometimes I consider MW a little bit more overrated than UG2 but most times both games are tied with the title of the most overrated racing game of all time.

Increase the wanted status all you want, that's how it fricken is.)
#13 - The PC version keeps telling me to PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE yet only certain keys work with that, suks.
"Remakestered game is the remakestered game, you can't say it's the original game." -Local man
#16 - Enjoyed those earrape moments in the video.
Honestly, I prefer Darius's Audi or Eddie's wonderful skyline or Rachel's Nissan 350z, this BMW for me is fucking ugly
think i'd take the beamer over rachel's 350
Was my comment here got deleted? It was a decent suggestion

Nfsmw focuses on racing not looks I hate people complain about customization in nfs
Cry about it shill 😭💀
to be honest the racing itself wasnt really best in mw imo
would rather say it focuses on pursuits
Bruh the customization is still great, what on earth are you all on about

The PS2 version of it is garbage, you don't feel the same speed of the car as on the PC or 360 since the fps runs worse and also the customization is one of the worst things in this game, the worst game in the franchise. And there is also a blacklist that is not even made up of actors, just photos taken.

I pretty much agree the critics here, as well as underground 2 that just ruins it because, how cash grabbed as it used to be instead of just planned for most wanted for 2 years (my younger me used to like these game). After coming into these games now, it makes me least satisfied idk at that time there were better games at that time as well, ik you did NOT said that the nfs games that you'd said are bad, but still you're right, that the stuff that people praise has pretty much aged badly.
