When I was in the Navy we and friends use to know we call Daddy Ray and his name is Ray Friesen and his wife is Filipina and call her Mommy Eli. And they have son name Arden and call us Uncle. Just to say we're family. You sure look like our Daddy Ray. He passed away for years and Mommy Eli still living in San Diego. Thank you.
Thanks for letting us know, too. We thought we were the 1st couple with a Friesen name married to a Filipina, as we don't hear any yet, until now. Would be good to see a photo of your uncle Ray Friesen.
@@abegingfriesen7444 I'll check with Mommy Eli or "our papasan" actually his real is Fred. the rest of our friends are gone now. We're the only one left. Thanks for responding. Take care and safe and healthy.
It is fresh, but the container used to collect the tuba has tanbark (tungog), tungog will give additional flavor and will cause natural fermentation and prevent the tuba to sour when it process to bahalina.
kabalo pud ko mananggot, dili man mag lain imong tiyan basta pure lng ang tuba, ang uban man gud haloan nila ug tubig ang tuba mao mag overtake gyud na! hahaha
Abi ko gani pareha ra ang lambanog ug bahalina, lahi dy, ang lambanog ginaferment pa dy ginaluto taas pud alcohol content 40-45% while bahalina naa ra aa 10-13%
It is fresh from the coconut tree, it hasn't ferment yet, we still call it tuba. After weeks of being stored and has fermented, we term it 'bahal', and after a month or more now it turns into bahalina.
@dantemejos7123 it surely turns into suka, for some who wants the tuba turns into bahalina instead of suka they filtered it daily to remove the sediments or "laog", that way it won't turn to vinegar.
Abe said it has a woody taste on it. No wonder since it was not pure coconut sap or pure tuba, Uncle Domie used "tungog" or mangrove tanbark for flavor and color on it. The pure tuba without tungog is milky white in color. Also, since it is fresh so it doesn't have alcohol taste yet, and it's a bit sweet.
If it's newly harvested like this it's sweet, give it sometime in proper storage without sunlight it'll taste like a beer with wood accent. Live it in the open specially out in the sun even for a couple hours It'll turn into vinegar. 😂😂😂
@Zero.Requiem you are right, and we love coconut vinegar for kinilaw😋 that tuba there they don't let it turn into vinegar, they filtered it daily to make it bahalina
Mas masarap para z akin ung plain lang sya,mas matamis kesa my kulay midyo mapakla.ganyan din gawa ng tatay q after ng fishing namin at marami kaming vinegar.
It’s not fresh.
Fresh yan, sa pagkakaalam ko may ginagamit yan nilagay sa lagayan ng tuba kaya ganyan ang kulay, sa Davao ang tawag "tungog" o tanbark, that makes the color brown.
@@easyhomeremedies8265 ang tuba walang halo na kahit anu except kung mandaraya gumagawa., they just simoly store it for couple or several days para magkalasa ayon sa gusto nila. Sa mindanao and visayas, kaya ganyan kulay kasi nga matagal nila itong itinatago. At d kulay kalawang.
Good to hear from you my dear friend, i always watching your videos, keep safe and stay connected..

Fresh tuba has a lot of nutrients , good for your health...it s a counterpart for red wine.

You are right, we heard a mananggite who felt down while climbing the coconut tree.
why the color is brown if it s fresh? fresh tuba is white on appearance?
It is fresh, but the container used to collect the tuba has tanbark (tungog), tungog will give additional flavor and will cause natural fermentation and prevent the tuba to sour when it process to bahalina.

Its a coconut rum in bisaya tuba
Not rum. Rum is a hard liquor. Tuba is toddy, or a sort of poor man's wine.
Tuba is where coconut wine is made from. The longer it is aged (bahalina), the better tasting it becomes‼️👍
@noyencortezgomez7220 true. And the higher the alcohol content will be.

It should be fermented. Tuba is a Coconut sap Liquor.
It is fresh from the coconut tree, it hasn't ferment yet, we still call it tuba. After weeks of being stored and has fermented, we term it 'bahal', and after a month or more now it turns into bahalina.
@@abegingfriesen7444agree... tuba is good for LBM
2 to 3 months in stored can turn it to venigar..we called it suka in cebuano
@dantemejos7123 it surely turns into suka, for some who wants the tuba turns into bahalina instead of suka they filtered it daily to remove the sediments or "laog", that way it won't turn to vinegar.
@dantemejos7123 we love coconut suka for kinilaw, it adds flavor for yummy kinilaw😋
I wonder, How does it taste like?

Tuba is good to drink !It is not so strong !
For sure. Plus some drink it with Pepsi.
TUBA IS THE BEST WINE❤❤❤
Agree...
Tuba is best with coke Pero kong bahal (tuba after 1 or 2 days is best with pepsicola
@Groter231rtwt that's what they used to do in Davao too, drinking it with pepsi.
Tuba (bahal) taste like red wine
Yes it is.
Mas masarap para z akin ung plain lang sya,mas matamis kesa my kulay midyo mapakla.ganyan din gawa ng tatay q after ng fishing namin at marami kaming vinegar.
I agree, mas masarap yung walang tungog or tanbark, puro ang lasa. Saka ang vinegar, masarap sa kinilaw.
Hi❤
Coconut wine
Cheers 🥂
PAINUMIN NYO NG 7VIERNES O KAYA KINOTEL.
Sa susunod. Masarap yung kinutil
Fresh tuba causes LBM
Not in ours. I think it can only cause LBM, if it is mix with water. Some sellers do it so they could sell more.
This coconut tree is too old .. better tap younger trees .. no need to climb ... matsu
Yeah that's a good idea though or better use the dwarf coconut, so no worries of falling down when climbing.
Taste lang champagne if a bit fermented...yes tropical vib champagne!
Bahalina, that's the fermented term sa tuba. Masarap nga yun
