My doubt is at earlier bonding lecture you've taught that when we go from C to P ns-np energy gap increases therefore to expand valancy of P we've to attach some electronegative elements !!! But in MOT you've told that when we go from F2 to Cl2 ns-np gap decreses to due to bohr correspondence principle. I have this doubt.
