Quick question, if you learn a chart that's accurate to the track, does that mean you've just learned how to play the actual drum part to the song and could go and play it on a regular kit?
@@Brandovichie well if you wanna be pedantic then yea there's lots of small key elements that add up, including cymbal mutes, rimshots, cymbal bells, etc. I was just talking generally, cause once you have the track's structure generally memorized, you can go from there and add in nuance.
The charts themselves can get you started but small changes like ghost notes and as others have stated (cymbal chokes, rimshots etc) can’t be charted in the rock band engine

not really, hi-hat functions arent implemented and dynamics arent present
