I got the Kakwa 55 large size. I have used it a couple of times now and I like it a lot. I was glad I opted for the 55 instead of the 40. I bring too much crap and don't pack it well. I don't understand how people get multiple days worth of gear into a 40 liter pack. Haha.
Squeaks drive me crazy, so I’m hoping that Durston takes care of this in the next iteration. not all framed packs squeak. My REI Trail 40 is fully framed, and it doesn’t make a sound at any weight.

A little silicone lube spray won’t hurt the material and the squeak goes away.
