I guess I kinda wish they'd have said something about Jason when talking about the band's early formation. I mean they're still a fantastic band without him, but the guy was definitely a big part of their beginnings and breakout and I've never seen an interview where they really talk about his membership.
That was kinda bullshit that they didn't even mention him being part of their band. Like they seriously need to contribute some of their success to him. He helped get them where they are today.

I totally agree. I would love to hear his vocals with some of the later albums. On the lowest of keys, I think he’s a little bit better of a vocalist than Derek...

Jason was the primary writer of the first EP and ALIR. I can’t believe they excluded him like this. When he left, it was so apparent in the writing. They are still amazing, but fuck, this is low.

Saw mayday parade twice now, during the AP tour 10/16/15, The American lines tour 3/17/16 and my tickets just came in the Mail for the newest tour on 11/15/16. All I can say is this band is the reason I'm here today and I have such a big place in my heart for this band. It's just something about the feeling of standing in a crowd with hundreds of other people, singing to the songs with the most heartfelt meanings and then jamming out to the upbeat songs ❤️

I can't believe this was a year ago.. I am a fan since 2 years now (I started listening to them when I was 11) and they really helped me get through these years. I saw them october the 2nd in Amsterdam and it was the best day of my life, they played so good it was amazing. I love them so much and I can't thank them enough 💚💙

I don't know for how many years I have been listening to your music but till today Mayday Parade is my favorite band. I love the music the lyrics are awesome and the best part is the band itself is amazing. It makes me so happy that like other bands they didn't break apart that's what is being a real band cause they genuinely enjoy what they do. I saw this back in November '15. Great doc but I was hoping they'd go through each album and talk about everything that happened. Would've been an hour long but I'd still watch it lol
I have to say that their self titled album is my favorite by them. Anywhere But Here was okay, but they got a lot of help during the writing and seemed lost without Jason being there. The self-titled was solid across the board. Monsters in the Closet was also solid, and I still enjoy that album. Unfortunately, I was never able to get into the newest Mayday Parade album.
