Although i do think it's important to consider which fingers you're using to get to the next note with, make sure you're not using just one or two fingers to play notes. Get all the fingers involved on your left hand (even the pinky finger), just getting this right can speed up your playing so much in the long run 😋

No problem, hope they're helping! Don't worry, i see that problem all the time 😋 I'd suggest 4 things, first of all make sure your fingernails on your left hand are cut really short and when you press down the string try do it closer to the tip of your finger. You'll have to bend at the knuckles whilst playing, otherwise your finger might end up straighter, touching all the strings below the one you want to play and creating dead or unwanted notes. If you still struggle, then maybe you can look for a guitar with a wider neck, then the distance between the strings is greater and you have more space for each finger to work with. Difficult to explain over text, hope that's what you were refering to 😅
