Mad respect for how you do your raffles, your total amount of tickets sold are always close to the original value! Makes the odds so much better than other youtubers car raffles, most if not all are money grabs. Comparing your raffles to say, mat arms***g, your raffles are legit, not over the odds! Please keep it like this, your doing great, love the content.
Exactly this thank you! Some people don’t realise it costs thousands of pounds a month just to run the website, then you have payment merchant costs and tax on top. I always run them so they’re very good odds, as let’s be honest the real odds isn’t in the ticket price, it’s in the total price of all tickets sold. And yes there’s some people that make £100,000s on each raffle 😄

Pick your car raffle love that. As a home mechanic I’d love to spend a few hours learning some stuff! For me a w204 facelift c63 has always been my dream car. Currently have a c220 diesel with the c63 diffuser wheels and exhaust and a real one would be awesome!

Hi Dean, Regarding your SVR intermittent low speed , full lock noise issue.......I had a similar one with my Porsche on wide tyres. In the end it was due to using Pirelli summer tyres in cold weather and it tended to clear up once It got some heat into the tyres, after a decent run. From research it can be very tyre brand specific and also tyre age specific......essentially if the rubber is soft enough, you wont hear it, as the tread blocks bend more and don't skip.
The noise on the SVR is very similar to that I had with an Alfa many years ago. Isue on that was the viscous coupling mounts allowing it to bounce around when on full lock (as wheels were trying to turn at different speeds). At a guess the SVR diff is trying to limit slip, and on full lock it doesn't allow enough slip for the inner and outer wheel to turn at different speeds.
I would suggest checking the diff mounts before swapping the diff.

I'm super in love with the VRS3 (or any 2.5T to be honest), and I'd love to see you work with the 2.9/3.0 in the s4/RS5/SQ5/macan etc as that seems to be much more expensive and harder to work on than the usual EA888 VAG stuff

Dean, you should have used the "Graf" all metal waterpump and thermostat housing instead of another rubbish plastic one... 🤔 Just done mine on my 2.0T A3 Cabrio, and for under £180 it'll never need changing again due to cracked or warped plastic! 😃 Knowing what I also now know, I'd have put in a new knock sensor while you were there, as in classic VAG style, you have to take the waterpump off to change the knock sensor!!! 🤬
Wish you'd have done this video a few months ago though! Your videos are so good to show how things go together and how to fix stuff properly! Keep it up! :)

Hi Dean, re the svr, probably just needs a diff flush rather than replacement. Be interesting to see inside it and what the issue is. I suspect it's clutch plate material in the oil. Love your content, you're living what most of us would consider a dream job 👍🏻
Noise on the car Jaguar SVR I thought it was the LSD. My Capri did the same. Changed the oil and it sorted the issue. It was basically knackered oil resulting in the friction plate slippage. Try changing the oil first before taking it to bits.
My X5 had a similar issue under full lock. Resolved by servicing the transfer box. My guess is that the x-drive wasn't disengaging at low speed and didn't enjoy the rotational disparity under hard turns. Maybe something to consider if the diff isn't the issue?
Glad to see an update on the TVR it's the car that made me subscribe there was a company that did service exchange chassis Ed China used them on their rebuild in the day

I have an 07 S6, looks pretty much identical to your RS6 but it has black interior. Very nice cars to drive but mines developed an oil leak on the rear of the engine........ looks like it's an engine out job for me next year 😮💨

How did you find bleeding the coolant system on the TT? I had this engine in an Octavia VRS and had no end of issues with the cooling system.

Just watched your video. The ackerman effect does always get worse with colder weather. Certainly much more noticeable on my Cayman and Boxster. 👍

As an RS6 C6 owner sad to see it go, actually these are pretty reliable once sorted out.
Ironically the engine works fine. But the age, mileage and the fact I haven’t touched it in years tells my gut I don’t want to do it 😬

i hope the coolant spills don't get under the floor mats as after time it starts to stink my tyre fitter had some like that down till the smell got to bad
Hi, love the videos! Ref your SVR, judder on full lock. Take it for four wheel alignment, my DB9 did the exact same, I thought I was in for a diff but it was sorted by a four wheel. Best of luck it’s so similar I would have some money on it if I had any!

It’s always good to see how far things have come Dean. I’ve been watching since the 8P RS3. Seen your post on RS3OC forum and started watching from there. The pick your own car competition is an original idea. Can see it being pretty popular, it would be good being involved to an extent.

I’d imagine it’s not possible on the 360 camera for some reason on the q4, but with my OBD11 I can change the orientation of my reverse camera in my Leon so when I put it in sideways I didn’t have to strip it all and flip it round.

Maybe i am wrong but if the floor mat can handle 6.5 tons then eacht of these can, so if you drive 8 tons in there so there are not 8 tons on echt matt so it should be possible?
is the tvr getting galvanised then powder coated? and properly future proofed

Their dads weren’t even toolmakers either! Don’t think their mums worked in the nhs for that matter.
Change the transfer box fluid. Use the genuine stuff my Range Rover sport did the same.
It’s crazy how funny you can be while keeping it real.
Dean buy yourself a portable scaffold tower to do the lights, they aren't terribly expensive
