You are not alone in your, want to go out-don’t want to go out. I usually go anyway and like you, I am glad I went. Very few times I wished I hadn’t gone after the fact. Best of luck at school and enjoy your vacation!
On the weekends, after working all week, I really want to go and do something. I just have a horrible time making myself go out and do it. Especially alone. I'm much older than you and have learned to stay away from undesirable people and drama. The ones I did love and enjoy have passed away. My son lives 5 hours away one way. So I typically just go with my husband on general errands on the weekends. We DO enjoy a movie at the theatre a few times a month, dinners out and some festivals weather permitting as well as a few long weekends away riding our side by side enjoying nature. I hope the game was fun but I know the trip will be AMAZING! STAY SAFE DOWN THERE!!! Mind ALL travel WARNINGS Jess!

I'm same with tests and going out. It's anxiety. I know I'll have a good time, but when time to go or time of test, I get kind of panicky and then don't want to go or have problems focusing on test. I usually have to take deep breaths to help me focus and get over anxiety. If too bad, I have anxiety pill I can take that helps. But I'm also a social introvert. Love idea of being social in theory then panic when I commit.😊

Jessica, I am sorry that your three mid-terms did not go well, but you should not be too worried about it. Have a time time in the Bahamas with your mother! You two deserve to have a nice and sunny vacation.

I have been that way ALL my life (about going out) and I’m quite a bit older then you. I think that feeling is forever, but like you I love being with friends and I always enjoy myself once I’m out. But, I still love being at home too! Your holiday is over, so look forward to you telling us about it!

Love the shoes, used to own similar style. Suggest you buy a second pair on sale and save. When the traction breaks down they quickly become slippery on some surfaces. Fractured my ankle that way not retiring being sooo comfy.
I have going out anxiety too even though there’s nothing wrong with the event in fact the events are always great. I am a deadline anxious person and sometime cancel the going out because of it.🦌💌❤️📚🙏😊

Everytime you start your video off with a shot of your coffee machine, I think back to the numerous iterations of coffee makers I had as I moved from college to first apartment, to second apartment, to third apartment to homeownership, to apartments again. If I remember correctly, it was something like: 1) instant - a) Nescafé & b) Taster's Choice / 2) Pyrex glass percolator (Hills Brothers) / 3) Melitta drip dealie-boos with several different Trader Joe's coffee beans ground with a Braun electric grinder, eventually settling on Kenya / 4) Bialetti stovetop espresso maker, still Trader Joe's Kenya beans ground w/Braun / 5) back to Nescafé instant. Full circle. If Braun starts making electric coffee grinders again, I might be tempted to recapture that aspect of my misspent youth.
That sounds like a great trip. Be careful over there, though. Very nice shoes. Good luck with your midterms. Very good grocery selection. That's too bad that your midterms didn't go that well. Very nice manicure. The hockey game sounds like fun. That sounds like an interesting candy. You probably have anxiety in addition to being an introvert. That hockey game looked very well attended. That is not a fun wakeup time when getting ready to go on a trip.
I'm exactly the same about the "anxiety," or whatever, about going out - but once I'm out, I'm ON, don't stop talking, have a great time, center of attention (lol). I say I'm an Introverted Extrovert. 👍

Have a fab trip to the Bahamas 🇧🇸 have you ever been assessed for Asd/adhd as a lot of females are undiagnosed and can mask as anxiety or does your uni allow access arrangements for things like a reader for exams, extra time etc in the uk we get an assessment if we have specific needs and we get arrangements to help with exams etc if it’s needed, it’s worth asking xx

Test anxiety is from not enough sleep, or not enough time studying or learning disability for some which I don't think is you as you love reading books just not enough time on your studies. Cramming for a test and lack of sleep or poor diet can effect your test results.

Sorry about the midterms. If I were you, I'd talk UofG Student Accessibly Services. They are really nice. Maybe you can get some kind of accomodation. If you work hard and you know the material, you deserve a good grade!

It saddens me when I see people eating sugar - sugar feeds cancer. I know it's hard, but you might want to try to cut down on sugar with your cancer history. 🙂
I understand this but I don’t get why the tube feedings given to cancer patients are full of sugar. Seriously.
It simply doesn't make sense but I hear about it all the time. 😞@@nightengale829
