Brother why u say this to this guy? Among many things that he says wrong is for example he say u shouldn’t rise ur hands to make dua. He justifies the Saudi war on Yemen. The Saudi government is demolishing the Islamic sites, he says it’s okay and says those r not important and gives a misguiding lecture how it’s okay to demolish them. He disagrees with many of the Imams such as Imam Abu Hanifa and says they were wrong and he does it in a very sneaky way. Just becuz someone has a following on TH-cam and gets a few things right it’s doesn’t mean that they r a good person. This guy Assim is a wrong guy Wallah. I mean he defends the government of Saudi that we all know they r munafiqoon they r promoting shirk like Halloween and concerts ,turning down the Azan like mosques, incarnate and executing The scholars who speak against them, helping Israel and so on. So u can’t take guy as a sheikh he basically has an agenda which is not Islamic and wants to confuse people and astray people from Islam.

I am a bit unhappy 😢, at organizers of this event & at myself. First of all I am surprised how this particular event was not advertised properly. I was aware of other events, but this specific one was not publicized on social media. I found about it just a day before event. & then I made a mistake of assuming that it will be very crowded considering it was likely free entrance. I found in another video that probably it was not very crowded. Fortunately I attended program on next day but I would have preferred attending this as well.

This one was in safa & marwah and I think it was free admission. There was another on Saturday organized by penny appeal & it was paid entrance. I am surprised at low advertising done for these events.

Not to be too cynical but it seems that these events would not get as much publicity in masajids in gta as they seem to be dominated by ‘Indian-version’ of things who generally aren’t too excited to host saudi-based or Saudi educated scholars! The ‘halwa-puri-biryani’ ‘mawlanas’ stubbornly cling to ‘cultural comfort zones’ - not. All of course but sadly many do. 😔
