A lot of kids have a strong connection with their mother because their mom probably is the one taking care of them most of the time. You cant expect that much from kids their age. They don’t yet understand how much their dad sacrifices and does for them.

That's some real facts to be honest,my father died when i was 11 (in 2021) now im 13 about to be 14 I wish i could've spent more time with him he I never realized how important a father figure can be so please spend time with your dads and enjoy your time with loved ones

I disagree with this comment. For me it is switched around, but I love my parents the same. Ofcourse they are being asked the question “who do you love more?” But yet they still always say their mother. I get where some children are coming from, as your mother gave birth to you doesn’t mean your dad doesn’t love you anymore that your mom does. Some children have both parents around at both times, as some children have neither around.
I would say both my mom is definitely nicer too me and does stuff around the house, but my dad taught me how to be strong and stand up for myself. Such a loaded question. I will say, my dad worked very hard, it was hard on his body. Most days he would be gone before we got up for school and he would get home from work just before dinner at 6. After eating dinner, always, without fail he would spend time with us. We would have tickle fights and wrestling and jokes and just being silly. He never ever once said he was too tired. Hell I still tell my kids, "I'm too tired". My dad was the best man! Dads are important. Oftentimes they silently carry the whole family.

if asked this question, i will always answer both. they both helped me get the medical help i needed. they both helped me get the mental help i needed. they both still help me to gain the courage everytime school organises a truancy meeting to talk about why i can’t be in school due to my health issues that still aren’t fully diagnosed. while my mom has helped me more, because she understands the pain i go through more as she too struggles with chronic illness and mental illness, my dad has also always been here. i can’t favour one more than the other. they both yell at me sometimes, and other times they’ll sit in my room and listen to me complaining choking on my tears and trying to calm me down, even if it takes four hours to do so and none of us get any sleep. both parents are equally amazing, at least, in my messed up world.

To this day, i can not keep it together when i see a man cry. No child should ever be asked this question.
Such a loaded question. I will say, my dad worked very hard, it was hard on his body. Most days he would be gone before we got up for school and he would get home from work just before dinner at 6. After eating dinner, always, without fail he would spend time with us. We would have tickle fights and wrestling and jokes and just being silly. He never ever once said he was too tired. Hell I still tell my kids, "I'm too tired". My dad was the best man! Dads are important. Oftentimes they silently carry the whole family.
This makes made me cry so never asked me that in public I would have said I love them both.

Kids should never have to choose between parents, I was mentally abused by my mother , but my father was so caring and loving my Dad since forever and for forever❤
i love both my parents equally. i love my mom, and i love my dad. i miss my dad, i really do. I haven’t seen him since Wensday at 7:42 after dinner. I know i’m not my dads favorite, but i really do love him.
if asked this question, i will always answer both. they both helped me get the medical help i needed. they both helped me get the mental help i needed. they both still help me to gain the courage everytime school organises a truancy meeting to talk about why i can’t be in school due to my health issues that still aren’t fully diagnosed. while my mom has helped me more, because she understands the pain i go through more as she too struggles with chronic illness and mental illness, my dad has also always been here. i can’t favour one more than the other. they both yell at me sometimes, and other times they’ll sit in my room and listen to me complaining choking on my tears and trying to calm me down, even if it takes four hours to do so and none of us get any sleep. both parents are equally amazing, at least, in my messed up world.
I used to say "daddy" when I was a child. Now I realized that my mom is the best. It's so bad to ask children this, cause it's hurting parents a lot

my dad has a special place in my heart, I love them equally. I love my mom but I am a daddy’s girl and he tells me how much he loves me and how happy he was when he got me. He said that no one could take that happiness from him❤️

This question when it’s asked It’s one of the hardest questions to answer because u say both then they will end up saying “no pick one” then u have to make a very hard decision which is messed up 🙁🙁
but for me when I was a child I ignored the “You have to pick one” I’d walk away or pretend not to hear them 🙃
