It does sound very good, and he is clearly a great player. That being said, he's playing in front of a green screen, and he's added reverb in post to make it sound like he's playing in a larger/more resonant space. Not a realistic representation of what it actually sounded like in person. Still probably sounded great though!
Wow what an excellent playing of classical music. Beautiful amateur in great intonation that was flawless. I'm glad I stumbled upon your music on TH-cam just now. I wish I'd have been listening to it all along. It's been 33 years since I put my trumpet in the closet shelf after high School. I now pull it down a couple times a year usually just to play some easy Christmas carols for the family. I need to start practicing more again this has inspired me to do so. He's pretty good for high school I was first chair in concert band. Principal trumpet in symphonic orchestra. And lead in jazz band. No I sound like a third grader. Keep the great videos coming. Do you have the mouthpiece sitting on your top lip? It sort of looks like it is. I’m struggling with my embouchure right now and sort of discovering how ‘incorrect’ embouchures work in different people.
Pretty good sound overall. I just felt that the transition from the G at the end of bar 5 to the D on the next bar wasn't very clean. Otherwise your articulation was pretty good. Also, I think you went a bit overboard with the tempo on the section 2. From an interpretation standpoint if you want to drag it out so much you should probably do it only on the repetition and keep the first time straight. Otherwise, pretty good job.
