12 months ago I steath camped in my camper van in. Scar park in St Ives Cornwall and as it’s been over a year I’ve decided to return to the scene of the crime and do it again but this time in a larger camper van.

TIP OF THE WEEK
Don’t use the 1 cal sprays - they ruin your frying pans, they take the non stick surface off. Just put some vegetable oil in the spray bottle instead. Love your van conversion and your vlogs.

I used to study in Plymouth for my masters degree. (Perfect memories; back in Greece now). And seagulls used to dive bomb all the time at cafes and stuff. Although we have them in Greece I miss their sound in Plymouth. Always brings memories when listen to them on videos. Very nice.

Lovely to see St Ives, though I usually visit my mum (lives between Penzance and St Ives) around Easter, I tend to only go as far as Carbis Bay - St Ives is just too busy!

Roquefort cheese (the t is silent) is traditionally aged in caves - my parents took my sister and I on a Roquefort cave tour in 1979, I think they still have them (if you ever find yourself in the south of France ... your probably very lost! ;-)
We should be ashamed of how tourists in vans campers and motorhomes in this country get treated ive just left Weston-super-Mare as they DISCRIMINATE Against us you can't say no gays you can't say no woman you can't say no itinerants you cant say no blacks quite rightly but you can say no motorhomes Europe puts us to shame they welcome all to free airs and in turn we spend our money Weston-super-Mare got not a penny from me I wonder why the shops are bored up when we're made to feel so very unwelcome and discriminated against

I would cook the steak in the Geroge Forman grill smothered in garlic butter. Then cook it as you do with the Geroge Forman grill. This way you don't t have to clean a frying pan swell. Wipe the Geroge Forman down with a few sheets of damp kitchen roll and one to dry it. (ps you can use some of the butter that runs off the colection tray to pour over the stake.)

Ah, memories - We've been going to cornwall for almost 20 years, but this summer was the first time we'd ventured into St Ives :D
Talking of nostalgia...I'm old (59) and at first school, in a place called Belbroughton, I had a " boyfriend " obviously not as such lol,
ML...his family left to live in St Ives.

20 yrs later I married a cornish man from Liskeard (we live on the Isle of Wight now)

St ives ... my favourite place in the world. Don't visit that often as our dog is scared of people so doesn't cope but we walked from Leland over the summer - beautiful! Great video as always
Love it! I was a huge fan of the Beano too, had a fair collection of the weeklys and annuals for a while.
Nice video Shaun. We popped over to St Ives late afternoon and evening yesterday, even had a cheeky pint in the Sloop. Like yourself , we love it but won't go near in the summer, as it gets a little too crazy. We parked behind the Tate and clocked a couple of MWB vans, that we debated whether they were stealth camping. Good luck with the channel.

Ahh, St. Ives 8s beautiful. I have visited many times and I really enjoyed my off season visit a few days in mid January this year. Only downside was that the days were so short. But I am actually used to this here in Norway so no surprise 😊. I stayed at the lovely Organic Panda and the Co-op was just down the road, and it was a lifesaver 😅 So when you didn't find your sweets store, I crossed my fingers that you would find the Co-op 😊 Thank you for sharing this lovely video from St. Ives. 😊

Blas burger is good and the path below your van goes straight to it, also there’s a corner shop on the porthmeor beach side called Norway stores it feels like something from the past and they have a fridge you can buy single bottles of beer for way less than any of the bars to take to the beach for sunset 😂

It's ridiculous to say this but Porthminster beach this year was the first beach and sea I'd walked barefoot since my youth. We hit the best days sun of our weeks stay in Cornwall as it rained a lot, however that day was one I'll remember forever. An awesome beach and yeah, we love St Ives. I can imagine it would be mad in summer as well. I just looked at that Harbour Hotel and they now want £10 a day for parking when you're staying with them so won't be doing that. Enjoyed the video and drone footage was superb. What a place it is 😄👍🏻 Cheers 🍻

Haha no way i parked overnight in literally the exact same parking spot a couple months ago in a T5 with my kids. Mad how people pay over 100quid a night to stay in st ives when u can do it for a few quid in a camper
