Wow!!! I've learned more in this 15 min vid than I have sitting in with an art class for hrs./weeks. Thank you. Only negative is that I wish the quality of the vid (only 240p) was a higher resolution. I look forward to more lessons. Very glad I stumbled onto your demonstration. Thank you!
The hand and mind of experience make this technique look easy. I know that it isn't ... not at first anyway. But the end result is superb. It has a great deal of convincing depth, balance and colour. Many thanks, good sir. I'll spend some time at your website.
I have watched several of your watercolor tutorials and each one has excellent instruction with beautiful outcome. The only thing I would suggest is that you show more of the painting as you paint along and a final shot of the painting at the end.
Love this! I can’t make a cloud to save my life lol but I’m going to give this lesson a try. I wanted to know the size of the Bristol brush you used for blending and if the painting behind you was done in watercolor? Do you offer a patreon?
What a great teacher! Just wish the camera person would stay straight on the paper i find it hard to see when he keeps changing angles needlessly. I hope theres more of these vids!
Thank you for you r explaining what your doing as you go along. So many of these people put up videos showing them painting and play MUSIC in the background...AND EXPLAIN NOTHING! A complete waste of time. Thank you!
Such a brilliant tutorial that really makes sense to move away from "flat clouds" and give them depth, texture and wonderful atmospheric perspective.
Finally I found an pro artist. You tube is inundated with bloggers pretending to be watercolorist, begging for views.
Wonderful artist and great teacher thank you.
One of the best cloud demos really immpressive
This has been very instructive …thank you so much. Love the way you move the brush.

1.5 minutes of talking directly to the camera before any demo started. Park your ego and film the palette and paper only.
Excellent instruction. Thanks for sharing.

What brand of watercolors are you using?
Thank you very much, I learned a lot, now I need to practice :)
Oh it's all very clear now.
Do you have a complete list of primary colors or is it dependent upon the brand?
should be in 144p
I didn't get ....did you use any washing at the buttom ? Thanks for this lovely video
cyan blue? I've not seen this color in any watercolor set - what make is this? thanks.
Melanie Maguire, The Cyan Blue is one of the Maimeri Blue pigments, it's a phtalo blue which is available in any brand watercolour, best regards.

All brushes have bristles - it's what defines a paint brush. When you say bristle brush, are you referring to hog's hair, like a chungking brush?
