    I am interested in seeing the disassembly of the Pixel Tablet. Do you have any plans for that?

      I will look into it, but as of now no plans for it.

    I saw JerryRigEverything's video yesterday on the pixel Fold and it snapped in half where the smaller battery is located. From the disassembly, I can't see any structural issues from that side.
    Any idea what the issue might be?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The only issue I can see is the plastic antenna lines on the frame. Usually breaks tend to start from there.

    • @rscle5
      @rscle5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The problem seems to be Jerry bends the phone in the opposite direction it was intended to with force. Something nobody would ideally do. Try bending your fingers backwards, if they break does that mean your body was designed bad? 😂

    • @parthsoni1818
      @parthsoni1818 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jerry is mad... Nobody is gonna bend their 1800$ phone like him... 😂

      @@rscle5I've daily driven a Foldable for a year now, and there's definitely a chance of bending backward. The Galaxy Fold is rock solid and doesn't break. No reason Google couldn't have addressed this as well - Google has a bad history with designing antenna lines at weak points.

    As always, and amazing video! Thank you for doing the Pixel Fold. I just received mine and i was curious about its components. Also thanks for explaining what each part was that was disassembeled. I have had mostly Samsung foldables and S series devices so this is my first Pixel device. So far i love it but just hope it hold up like my previous devices.

    What's the purpose of two top speaker? 3:10 and 5:05 Are they facing difereent directions?
    Love your videos by the way, keep up.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The top left one is the loud speaker which works alongside the bottom speaker for music, and when its on speaker mode etc. and the earpiece speaker on the top right is for when you are on a call and have the phone to your ear so its not on loud speaker. Technically they can use just one for both but its better to have two separate from my experience for better sound quality and volume control etc. Thanks!

    Bought an open box and the rear camera metal frame came a litte bit scratched and i found the replacement on aliexpress. You mentioned that it can be replaced with heat? So i basically heat the frame and use a plastic tab to remove it but will it have any connected cables or i dont have to worry?

    if they put 2 batterys in fold phones it will be a game changer, but not for repair.

    So taking off the back of the fold couldn’t help but notice the battery capacity 3332 mill amps versus the 4800 mA that was promised on the device? WTF😮

    is this better or the xiaomi's fold?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't had any personal experience with Xiaomi's fold devices, but in some aspects just from looking at the teardowns, I would lean toward the google pixel fold. The pixel fold has dual linear haptic feedback motors and the speaker system looks to be better. But then again looking at the Xiaomi fold 2, the charger port is replaceable, and the battery pull pouch is better than the pull tabs on the pixel fold. So not sure honestly.

    Folds and flips are the worst design every made. Any kind of plastic screen bent thousands of times will crease and eventually crack, no exception who makes it. It's just dumb!
