I am a fellow horse rider and I don’t feel jealous or sad for not owning my own horse, yea I want one but I am very happy for these children who seem very grateful for there HUGE gifts they probably have worked very hard for the horses. U GO GIRLS!!!😀
i hope that everyone here gets horses soon :-) i know how hard it is but it gets better. i use to stay in bed all day watching these videos picturing me being the little girl.
Every time I watch theses videos I cry for the fact that I know that this will never happen to me... But, it also makes me feel happy watching how happy people get.
21 and I still have never owned a horse.. been riding for 15 years. I hope everyone who owns a horse realizes how lucky they are for the opportunity. It is certainly not for lack of trying or working for it.
I have been very blessed - had my first horse for just over 30 years, and my current one for over 10 years. Got my first horse on my own when I was 17 - paid for everything - rode my bicycle to the barn each day and worked in-between to pay for the board, etc. Too many kids get too much these days and have grooms to do everything for them. So many of them don't even know how to saddle/bridle their own horse. What a sad state - they should feel blessed to be so luck to have an animal, and do everything to take care of it. The horses are companions, teammates, not a status symbol.
Marlene Reid Yes my grandfather JUST got me a horse, she's a beautiful pie face paint, all black except for a white spot on her side and of course a white face. So yeah, at MY stables, we have to groom and tack up our horses, and we all know what we're doing, and MOST of us are 9-12 years old!
I'm 21 as well and I've never owned one. I am currently saving for one and I hope within a couple years to officially own a horse. I am thinking of shareboarding first to see if it's a good fit for me.
i begged my whole life for one, and on my 17 birthday i finally got one, i stayed at the barn the whole day until it got dark :) i dont even ask for anything anymore, i already have everything i ever wanted :) Congrats on your horses
Awww. This is just so freaking sweet, way to go parents! That must have taken a lot of heart and planning, you're setting a good example for future family planners.
This chokes me up every time I watch it. I know EXACTLY how MaKayla feels. I am 66 years old and got "my very own horse" about 6 months ago as a gift from my husband of 45 years, who understands my passion. He's a blessing beyond measure (that goes for my husband as well as the horse ;-) These two little girls are very fortunate, and their gratitude is wonderful!
I don't know why I watch these videos. I will never get this lucky... I cry every time knowing that I could never be as lucky as these girls.... I have prayed for 7 years and never got my best friend. :(
I'm 37 now, but I vividly remember the day this happened to me. I was ten, he was a 2-year old liver chestnut Morgan that danced when he walked. He is in my stables in the backyard right now...30 years old, he might move a little slower but he still dances when he walks, love that horse. I am so blessed.
Two things: One, my eyes tearred up from happiness and longing when she came into the barn and saw the sign. Two: if i ever have children, ill keep this AMAZING gift in my head ^^
Maia Rubin a horse is not a pet like a puppy you can get. They cost a whole lot more money and take a whole lot more time put into them. You have to work for them.
I used to dream of having a horse every christmas I would ask Santa, but never got one, my parents thought I would grow out of it, but the love for them was always there, now at the ripe young age of 57 I am learning to play Polo and will probably buy one of my own next year. I have never ever given up on the dream.
If I got a horse I would go in the stall and pet them and give them carrots, not stand out there crying. Well, I'd probably cry, but I'd cry into my horse's mane. I've been saving money since I was 7 for a horse.
That is so great I love you with all Pat it's so cute wreck my name is Raya yeah my name is and yeah I always watch your videos that's so nice I can't believe you do what's your parents name is it a boy or a girl
I think that the family didnt really focus on the girl who got brody they focused on the girl who got annie which is a bit upsetting and sad because they should each get the same affection
It says in the description that Mikayla and her FRIEND got a new horse each, so maybe that's why they focused on her a tad more. :) and it was Taylor's second horse whereas it was mikayla's first. :)
Geee...liberal mentality incorporated into horse giving and receiving. I'm sorry you were left out of inner circles during your childhood and now adulthood.
In my opinion, a horse is the best thing in the whole world! I was riding for 3 years before I got to have my favourite horse on loan! Don't ever give up, I never thought I'd have a horse!
my luck is bad, they probably dont know how to ride. then horses end up in the meat indistury. ive been riding for like 15 years now? since i was 3. i can gallop. these girls probs arnt off the lead rein :/
I have got a horse yes. I have 2 tips for you if you get a horse or have one tip number 1 don't run at the horse or it will flinch at you or kick you. Tip number 2 don't scream you will scare the house if you do that you won't have a great relationship with the horse. And I one last tip well 2 tips left.tip 3 don't walk behind the horse because it will and has done to me kick it might be a accident but it also might not be. Number 4 if you are a great rider walk close to the bum so the kick doesn't hurt as much. How do I know all this like I said please remember tips my mum is horse teacher and a horse rider. and 1 last thing I have a horse know exactly everything about a horse and if it changes its mined and says I don't want you on my back chuck you off all was get back on if they do that please follow the instructions and stay safe around horses.
The girls were just excited, they probably know not to run and scream, as some one said in the start of the video don't run in the barn. I know your just trying to help but I'm pretty sure they already know
I wish this was me my favourite horse got sold in front of my eyes I collapse I was sooooo upset I trained him from a foal and the play fucking sold him now I can't bear to go back there but I miss him so much I miss all the horses there but I was fed up with the fact they wanted me to pay £20 for 2 hours ye cool on a horse that was about 16hh and had no exspirance at all with riders I wasn't havering it I was expecting to pay for the horse I wanted to ride bug anyways it's nice to see some one els happy yet again not me :'(
+cuddly panda me toobut they gave her for free she had a heart of gold i wouldnt given her for the world till this very day i cantstop crying ,.......................
Okay, first of all you DON'T scream OR run in the barn. It scares the horse and you could get hurt yourself if you don't know how to handle horses or if you are uneducated about horses. Even if you a know little bit about horses you should never ever go behind a horses butt and run or scream in the barn.
& LegendaryHorse & the horses can GET scared, all the animals r like this. When u get a pup/cat or whatever don't scream cuz its like screaming in a 1 month baby's face soo u should b the one who is keeping the mouth shut.
Kids that get horses are spoiled or they earned it like it was a big surprise to them and there parents and friends but the horse in my picture is not mine it is my uncle's horse and I do not have one at all but I hope I will get one for Christmas
A pony was one of the best presents I ever got. Granted she wasn't a Christmas present, but she has taught me so many life lessons through the years, and I am so glad that my mom got her for me.
Shut up horses aren't jus like "oh horsey I got a horsey" there friends there team mates! Your just jelous of them and Rude. If you don't have something nice to say don't say it at all!
Why too young? I know kids that were a LOT younger when they got their first pony. Who decides what is too young? My grand niece will have her first pony when she's around five or six. Is that too young? Why? Because you're jealous?
I do not want to start an argument but thats not really that young i was 11 when i got my horse, and they look like they're around 10, 11 so its not really that young
+alices. Pets stop fighting this is a sweet video and the parents are great. So if you are going to say stuff like that then go to jacksepticeye or pewdiepie
i begged my dad for 12 years for a horse (as i live on a farm), now im 18, and this lady who is my best friend's mom that owns a horse stud farm got these two mares, abused race mare and her foal, she trained the mother , working on them for 3 years, but she already had over 40 horses and offered them both to me for free, and my dad agreed, ironically, the one who is my riding horse is also 12 years old, sweetest nature, they are my babies and funny enough.. i found out she might be pregnant. so all i can say is i feel so blessed to have my horses and happy for these girls as i know what its like to get them.
Aww that brought tears to my eyes, lucky girls:) All I ever wanted growing up was a horse lol, but we lived in a small New Englad coastal town and my parents were deathly allergic so I found a pony to take care of:) Still wish for my own horse though lol.
I love how the one that got Abbie was bawling and the one that got Brodee was excited and happy but more excited for her (sister??) but still REALLLY happy that she got Brodee.
For all of you who think you will never have a horse, don't lose hope. I thought the same thing. Then I stopped worrying about it and suddenly there was an opportunity. I got to be around them. And then the opportunity arose for me to get a horse from my mom's friend. My mom got a raise, and I was able to work off lessons and board. The horse didn't work out but my mom and I went shopping for one instead. There is always a hope. Nothing's impossible. Be grateful, faithful. When the times right, it will happen as long as it was meant to be :) I'm so grateful for my mom, my instructor, and Avalon. By the way, I am so happy for these girls. It's gotta be so wonderful to get that kind of surprise. She's so grateful too. Sweet girls. Congrats!
My parents got me my first pony for my 9th birthday. He was the rescue pony at my barn me and my instructor were rehabilitating. When I was told he was for sale (even though he was always mine) I literally cried for weeks. Then December 14th 2013 rolled around and that was the day I knew he was mine. He was such a legend and I miss him so much. He had to be put down a couple weeks ago, he'd been at the barn just over 5 years. He had laminitis. Miss my best friend so much 💔💔 No other horse or pony could replace him 💔💔💔
I am a fellow horse rider and I don’t feel jealous or sad for not owning my own horse, yea I want one but I am very happy for these children who seem very grateful for there HUGE gifts they probably have worked very hard for the horses. U GO GIRLS!!!😀
I feel like crying this is so beautiful. The girl who owns Abbie definately loves horses and is very grateful. Brodie's owner is nice too

That is so true I wish it happened to me

Trust me some day you will earn enough money or your parents will surprise you with your very own horse.

This made me cry. The reaction, you can tell it will be a strong bond.
21 and I still have never owned a horse.. been riding for 15 years. I hope everyone who owns a horse realizes how lucky they are for the opportunity. It is certainly not for lack of trying or working for it.
Agreed. Same here, still a dream to own a horse.

I'm 14 and I got a horse after 3 years of working with them. Whenever I read these comments I feel kinda guilty...
ohh wow... choked up. So awesome to see an appreciative kid and true emotional excitement.
Those horses are such saints, being so calm through the emotional crying and shouting. So exciting!
i begged my whole life for one, and on my 17 birthday i finally got one, i stayed at the barn the whole day until it got dark :) i dont even ask for anything anymore, i already have everything i ever wanted :) Congrats on your horses

Wow the girl who got 'Broodie' was running round just screaming it everywhere. But the one with Abbie was at least grateful to her parents.

If I got a horse I would go in the stall and pet them and give them carrots, not stand out there crying. Well, I'd probably cry, but I'd cry into my horse's mane. I've been saving money since I was 7 for a horse.
Just a tip, I saved 4,000 in one year by doing the 4-h steer program and doing babysitting and dog sitting for family and friends. Don't give up!

I think that the family didnt really focus on the girl who got brody they focused on the girl who got annie which is a bit upsetting and sad because they should each get the same affection
I think they both ride but the one who got Annie wanted one more
It says in the description that Mikayla and her FRIEND got a new horse each, so maybe that's why they focused on her a tad more. :) and it was Taylor's second horse whereas it was mikayla's first. :)
Geee...liberal mentality incorporated into horse giving and receiving. I'm sorry you were left out of inner circles during your childhood and now adulthood.
Um... The horses name is Abbie
Natalie The person the was filming was focusing on the girl who got Abbie because they are the mother of whoever got Abbie

As a Texas girl, I know how wonderful it is for a girl to get a beloved horse. 😍🤗😍
i begged my dad for 12 years for a horse (as i live on a farm), now im 18, and this lady who is my best friend's mom that owns a horse stud farm got these two mares, abused race mare and her foal, she trained the mother , working on them for 3 years, but she already had over 40 horses and offered them both to me for free, and my dad agreed, ironically, the one who is my riding horse is also 12 years old, sweetest nature, they are my babies and funny enough.. i found out she might be pregnant. so all i can say is i feel so blessed to have my horses and happy for these girls as i know what its like to get them.
The love between a horse and there owner runs to the deepest part of you,. They live up to 30 years
This is so cool! I am so happy for the girls!!!!!

I wish I was one of them. I’ve always wanted my own pony
I loved that, that was magical🌈♥️
Congrats!
i wish i had a horse like you! I always wanted a horse.
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

These videos are so sweet! I love this X)
oh my god this made me cry too! so damn cute
Miss my best friend so much 💔💔 No other horse or pony could replace him 💔💔💔
So sweet, when i look at them i remember when i rided my first horse!I had the same reaction! So cute ^^
