That "movies with a twist" scheme is one of the best Schemes I've heard from The Saurus, so well crafted.

I honestly can say I teard up at more KOTD events than any other battle league its a more positive fun vibe that's why we miss PAT so much SALUTE to KOTD🎉🎉🎉

Just turned 31. Been tuned into the scene since i was 14... over half my life. This battle made me feel so many different things - all real. It made me feel happy and nostalgic for the fact that The Saurus couldve been plucked out of 2009 and dropped into this battle cos that boy aint lost a damn step. It made me feel sad because i realise time stops for no man and we're all headed in the same direction and theres not a damn thing any of us can do to slow it down.
For something to exist to evoke true bittersweet feelings, causing you to reflect on life, as a result of two homies battle rapping for 30 minutes... its increible.
This will instantly go down as a top 5 battle for me personally and what i assume will be remembered as one of the all time greats.
If both of you fellas happen to read this comment, im not finna be on some confuscious shit but youve really impacted so many human beings through words and wit. I hope the rest of your lives bring you everything you both deserve.

Someone needs to do an in-depth documentary on The Saurus, Super Nat, Juice, WRCs, etc. That history of battle rap gets overlooked quite a lot. It's as if battle rap didn't exist before the Smack era and that's a damn shame

The Saurus deserves way more credit than he gets for not only his overall influence on the course Battle Rap has taken, but for being able to keep his material at top-tier level through so many performances over so many years.
A lot of peoples favourites can't do what he does.

Thesaurus was one of, if not the first ever battle rappers I watched on TH-cam and I’m not even sure if it was his line but it was something like “Your mother has a sideways vagina saying made in China” and had another line about giving piggy back taxi cabs. It was a doubles and I can’t find it for the life of me! This is going years back! The guys a legend along with Kid Twist. RIP Pat Stay, you did him proud!

This is easily the most wholesome battle I’ve ever seen. Holy shit.
That movie scheme by Thesaurus is probably the most well written segment of bars that I've ever heard in my 13+ years of watching battlerap. The word economy, the ease he rhymes coherent sentences, way it's perfectly tailored to Kid Twist, the simplicity mixed with complexity. It's the perfect scheme. But it's likely only other writers who understand the level of difficulty involved in composing a scheme like that will understand how truly masterful it is.
Agree, not only the way the whole round builds up to it, but also the way he generates momentum by getting the crowd invested in it purely as a movie scheme only to add the surprise of the extra layer to end it out. Really very few examples of writing at this level
Thesaurus is one of only few who transcends era's. And gets better and better every time he battles. Like how is that even possible?
