First modern-day performance of Johann Sigismond Cousser's Birthday Serenade for Queen Anne, 'The Universal Applause of Mount Parnassus', written for the celebrations at Dublin Castle in 1711. Performed at the Chapel Royal, Dublin Castle on June 12th, 2015 by Ensemble Marsyas, directed by Peter Whelan. With grateful support from the Irish Arts Council.
