Are you kidding me. $15-$17,000 for a glorified nmap scanner. there has to be a lot more it does. hopefully it just adds on the ether scope line or something for that amount and has all those features as well.
It is a WiFi only version of the EtherScope, with the addition of nmap. The integrated tri-band analysis and discovery are where the real power lies. As with any tool, it comes down to your time vs the cost of the tool. This will get you to the root of the problem faster than any open source tool I've ever used.

Also, the cost of the CyberScope Air is closer to $7k.
i pulled up cdwg and they had one for the price you said and they also had one 17000.00
