    Here is the discord link! discord.gg/8dfcNtf - Within the server I have created "The Think Tank," a virtual forum which will be a place for panels, discussions, vegan business proposals, etc. I hosting a doctor panel with several doctors right after this video but it is over now. We discussed the DHA drama with VegSource and vegan doctors with the question, "Should vegans supplement DHA?" and many other topics such as "Why are vegan blood protein levels higher?" More events to come and we now have 500+ people in there!!

Today I on-sighted (climbed first try) a 5.10+ and sent a 5.11+. Hoping by the end of my first climbing year I can on-sight 5.12s. I have never felt as strong as I do now and I have played extremely competitive sports my entire life.

    What bothered me most about that podcast was the false idea that veganism or vegetarianism can work as a diet only if it's done 'perfectly'. As if we have lab coats, bunsen burners and test tubes in our kitchens. 'Time to make a sandwich...let me just grab my calculator and protien monitor.' It's all so ridiculous, and speaks volumes to how much they do not understand and yet purport to educate. The up side: I've been 'perfect' for 35 years!

      I work as a counselor for relatives to people suffering from chronic disease, and let me tell you: Legumes, grains, fruits and vegetables are never the problem.
      Sitting still most of the day, obesity, eating foods high in saturated fat, cholesterol and simple sugars, high levels of stress without balancing it with sleep and rest, social stigma; these factors on the other hand pretty much explain every case that I come into contact with at work. And they can all be fixed if dealt with in time. The saddest thing is meeting relatives to fairly young people who - for instance - has suffered a stroke that caused irreversible brain damage. Then lives are surely ruined, and no one says in the aftermath of such events that it was worth it.

    • @patrickfurlong2834
      @patrickfurlong2834 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      lol man, you're wild. Kresser is smart as heck and acknowledges some vegans do it right. He acknowledges the benefits of a well planned vegan diet. Vegan clubs inability to acknowledge the nutritional benefits of meat makes you guys more radical than anyone like Kresser. So what if fumbled on Barley. He talked for 2 hours and goes through countless studies and dialogue. Everyone fumbles, even James A. "He cant read simple studies" lol. Blinded by being mad at counter arguments to veganism doesn't give you a free pass to being a jerk about it. The nutritional benefits of meat FAR outweigh the negatives if you're doing it right (just like veganism). The war is against processed foods. We shouldn't be at war against each other. I fully agree with the notion that animal cruelty is a terribly sad problem... but trying to act like veganism provides better nutrition than a balanced diet with animal products is..... such a stretch.

Much more vital and focused. Think being plant based is pretty good overall and nothing against people who want to live that way.
