Thanks Brother!!
I agree it is gorgeous
Awesome video and a beautiful gun. I have been eyeing an affordable flintlock for a long time now and I've wondered about Traditions kits.
Thanks so much for stopping in!!
Steve, you should do some period trekking videos in a national forest or somewhere like that
I would actually love to do that. That is something that I have had in mind to do. As you know, it is difficult for me to get videos out on a regular basis. I have recently lost a daughter so it's going to be awhile before I get anything else done concerning my channel. God bless!

I'm so sorry
Nice!
This flintlock Mountain rifle is made in Spain by Ardesa, and marketed in USA by Traditions. Good rifle for shooting and hunting. Saludos desde España.
Yes....Spain makes good product. Thanks so much for watching!
BTW.....In the description there is a typo in one of the names. Thae name is Dan Lamping for Sashes, leg ties a straps.
Love the rifle but I'm curious where did you get the jacket you are wearing? I would love to find one similar to yours.
Thanks so much for viewing and commenting. I built that jacket years ago for my late dad.
God bless!!
Hey know any sites to get "cheap" period clothing? Or I should say cheaper as there's nothing cheap about buckskin or wool. Nice vid
Hey thanks so much for viewing! If you go on Facebook, look for Uncle George's discount leather. You won't find any garments there but you will find hides. I make my own Buckskin garments. There are a couple of other outfits that do make Buckskin clothing that I cannot think of offhand. But I will look into it and get back to you. Thanks again and God bless!
I did a little bit of research. I simply went to Buckskin shirts eBay. Once you get to that site you'll scroll down. The first shirts and jackets UCR not so authentic. When you go all the way down and it says see all, you'll start seeing more authentic-looking Native American and mountain men Style buckskins. Some prices are not too bad and others are way too high. Some of them are kind of in the middle. When I say in the middle I mean $250 to $300. But what I'm seeing for those prices I believe are worth far more than what they're asking. I hope this helps. When I come across some of the other companies, I will let you know. Thanks again for viewing my videos!
@@stevebuckskinner5482 Thanks for replying, I really appreciate it. Pretty sure no other TH-camr would go out of their own way to help out others like that, anyway at least i'm a subscriber! I'll look around right now. Godspeed!

Also check out my Facebook page called Mountain Man, Long Hunter and Rendezvous.... 18th and early 19th century. We have well over 3000 members on there and some of them make Buckskin clothes. Not cheap mind you, but they're never the less. Oh, and thanks so much for subscribing!
Hey Steve, or anyone else, do you know anyone in Ohio into this sort of stuff? I want to learn more and eventually make some buckskins and visit a rendezvous
Just Google mountain man rendezvous Ohio. You'll find calendars and other info. You'll even find a Facebook page dedicated to Rendevous Ohio.
If in eastern Ohio you could cheak out the Eastern Primitive Rendevous in Sugar Grove Pa.
Steve the Bouse Hills Arizona Rendezvous is coming in February, be a fun place to try that .50
I sure do appreciate you Bill! It could possibly happen that I could get through there. I'm just going to have to try make it happen one day. I know they have that Santa Fe Rendezvous up north are to.
Hey why is your buckskin so yellow? I think if you long smoke it it gets brownish right??
Pretty typical of chrome tand hides. Seems that they're either chocolate Brown, white or this yellowish color. But you are right. Smoking the hides would make a huge difference. I hope to do that someday. Thanks for stopping in bro!! God bless!
Steve, I just posted a thread about your channel in (muzzleloadingforum.com) in the general muzzleloading section, hope it helps further your channel some more!!!
Wow! Thank you so much bro! I so greatly appreciate it!!
