I don't know if i believe that they were set up because they pissed off the wrong agency. Now I don't believe that but because of how the FBI and DOD have been weaponised by this administration against Lawyers like Gulioni, Trump and dozens of others. There are a lot of people who now don't believe or trust the alphabet agencies.

LE does it all the time by having a family member etc come get the child instead of CPS. This state LE was using the child to get what he wanted at the risk of the child emotionally. Big time power trip for him. I support the LE and have many friends who are LE that even said this was handled wrong. He is an arrogant, power trip cop. Look how he answers, he knows being a cop and having to take the stand in other investigations how a courtroom works yet he decides what he wants to answer and how. If the typical procedure is to allow a suspect 24 hours or much more (if you recall the Georgia case, allowed them a week or more), then it would appear that once the investigator spoke to her lawyer, then the clock starts. It would not be in their job description to manage childcare arrangements for citizens not in their custody, and not in any eminent danger. If I were the judge, I would also be annoyed that the police created a bigger mess for the defendants than needed for low level, non-violent manner. Imagine if these cops put that kind of energy in addressing warrants regarding violent suspects and domestic violence cases.

This first witness was just being cruel to try and take her child that they truly loved just because she didn’t answer his call. She was probably trying to find child care an talk to her lawyer before she turned herself in. Some detectives an Officer’s could give her time to do this to prevent dss taking her child an let a family member take the child.
This first person was talking to her lawyer he said she was turn herself in, he was just being an ass!

Considering the obvious fact that neither of these Defendants pose any risk of fleeing, nor any danger to the community, not allowing a PR bond is serves no other purpose than to punish, and possibly collect revenue. I have really been questioning the fact that our Justice System is supposed to assume innocence, but more often than not, it seems the system operates counter to that. This is a perfect example.
Additionally, Based on what was said at the Hearing, it sounds like he was initially placed on suspension with pay, however it sounded like perhaps that changed Friday? If so, that also seems like a failure of the system. He hasn't been convicted of anything and has a family to provide for, and this charge in my opinion should not impact his employment unless he is found guilty.

Low end arms crossed confrontational defense counsel.
The best respected successful defense counsel know how to advocate effectively - they act professionally at all times and are respected by the entire legal community. This is NOT an example of that - but many do this style to show their client how hard they advocated for them - may attract some new clients but doesn't get the desired result.

?s and arguments, Not being disrespectful to Anyone. I'll give you One guess how I know this. This is a Huge case with looong tentacles that affect so many innocent and Guilty people and gawd forbid if a lawyer bolixes something from lack of concentration. 😮
