      Stores are no longer enforcing their no pets policy, so I don't think they ARE faking. They don't need to bother with faking, they are just brining their pets into the store.

      @@shakeyj4523 That’s a very good point! We were attacked a few weeks ago by a LOOSE husky mix the owner brought in a store. It wasn’t a fake, just an aggressive pet. The minute we opened the door it ran up snapping and snarling, it bit Baron three times while the owner laughed. Thankfully Baron just stood there and it didn’t break skin, it was absolutely ridiculous. I was in shock, it was running around chasing people around the store and knocking over displays. I should do a story time, but no one will believe how insane it was!😂

    1:01 this was kind of stupid for the handler to stand that close. He obviously had no control over those dogs and they could have gotten loose and attacked there service dog. Don't put yourself or your sd in harms way for some video footage or to prove a point. And it wasn't even that clip alone, a lot of the videos were the handlers being stupid for getting that close! Reminder to everyone in the comments that muzzle training is something that every service dog goes/should to through. Some of these aren't doing anything and I can't imagine why they're in here. Like there's a few literally just existing or sitting there...
    All in all though, some of these make me so so angry. The fact that the owner isn't even training them is a great tip off. Dog doesn't even know what it's supposed to be doing

      Recording the video is what you would have to do to prove the behavior of the animal. Most people are afraid to go talk to a fake because that means putting yourself and your SD closer than they were in this video and that can cause such a huge issue. Fakes almost never actually listen, either.
      I hate fakespotting personally, but I mean hey, to each their own and I'll sure watch the video 🤣

    • @Izamota-q5v
      @Izamota-q5v 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the situation isn't handle delicately with grace and the right demeanor all it does is anger people - then they get defensive instead of listening or even try to pin blame on the handler
      Most handlers I've seen try are too emotional and confrontational about it -
      Ive seen handlers in videos, both of fakes and access issues, manage to come off as entitled people with an authority complex rather than someone trying to keep themselves safe
      No one's listening at that point and it ends doing harm

    yeah so as someone who works in fast food because of health and safety whenever we see an animal in our restaurant WE HAVE TO ASK despite some people finding it rude due to medical privacy. If we dont ask and then it turns out that the dog wasnt a service animal (i say dog because that's most common but this goes for any service animal whether its a dog cat or a monkey yes really) and the Health inspector walks in we could get shut down. Now Im Canadian so most people are fine with me asking but I have had to ask a few customers to leave because their dog thats small and in their arms isnt a service animal. TBH if it were up to me I'd be fine with it esp if they're just grabbing something quick and leaving but health and safety disagrees. As a fast food worker here's what we're allowed to ask "excuse ma'am/miss/sir is your animal a service animal? I ask because of health and safety regulations." If they say yes then we leave it at that. What we are NOT ALLOWED TO DO IS ask "Oh if they're a service animal why aren't they wearing a vest?" or "Do u have proof of that/what is the animal for?" So yes we literally have to trust that people arent lying. However there actually IS a way to tell if the animal is a service animal. How do u do that? How does the ANIMAL REACT TO U? True service animals typically wont even react to your presence such as lunging or growling or barking as they're trained not to do these things. SO if the dog is lunging and barking and the owner says "they're in traingin" I say "no they're not because the first thing SDs are trained to do day 1 is to not lunge"

    There are blatant ones that are fake, but not everyone has the same needs. My muscles wasted away 5 years ago and I still today can barely walk, so she has been trained off the lead and I avoided people at all cost. I never socialized.. Mine has been trained to everything perfectly except for breaking her of her social side. She does not wear anything saying for her to be left alone. People see a husky around here and go nuts. It has forced me to be more sociable, confident and cope in situations with more that just 1 - 1. She will not charge off, but if there are people gesturing or calling to her, she looks at me and I say "go on then" and she goes. The moment I say "Ashe, here" she comes straight back to heel.
