I’m going to be completely honest I had no idea this was a woman until I looked up the band this song was so powerful her vocal chords are so strong she has such a beautiful voice!! ❤️❤️ I’m in loovvee
Her rhythm playing would be awesome regardless, but that she is able to sing and get in some emotive hand gestures too just takes it to another level. Brilliant. PS, missed this the first time: the old wallet on the snare trick 16 seconds in.
I LOVE HER AND LOVE THE BAND... I SHAZAMED THEM THROUGH THE COMMERCIAL THAT THE SONG "SOUND AND COLORS" WAS PLAYING ON TV FROM. ONCE I HEARD THE ENTIRE SONG, I BOUGHT THIS CD AND HAVE BEEN A FAN EVER SINCE. I DON'T THINK I'VE TAKEN IT OUT OF MY CD PLAYER FOR THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS... JUST LOVE THEM! SHE'S AWESOME! TRULY GIFTED!
Sou amarração nessa banda!!!Me arremete pra o estilo de Janes Joplin demais!!! Valeu quando vier só Brasil avise por favor.Zetty do Litoral Sul Paulista.
What's crazy is, this was an off night for Brittany. For every singer, there are those nights when your body doesn't want to cooperate. This is one of those nights for her, and she still ripped!
They're alright. Not really a fan of that woman's singing style. I like the guitar in their first break out song "hold on." As a Gen Xer, the greatest generation of new and original music, I don't get as excited about this band as say a white liberal milennial.
+Judy Miller Go listen some Ted Nugent or Kid Rock if that's your speed - who anointed Gen X as the greatest anything? - the woman can flat out sing - why bring your negativity here - don't force your opinion on anyone
+Judy Miller As a fellow Gen Xer I can tell you, you have no idea what you are talking about ...greatest generation of new and original music....sorry friend but our generation just added a metal edge to an established sound. The Jazz era literally broke from established and funded musical tradition. Just because its not the music you gravitate towards doesnt make you right :)
You must have been asleep throughout the 90s Metal edge? Try grunge, alternative rock and indie to name a few. You are fooling yourself if you think this is an improvement on the musical revolution of that era. In fact, I think you might be a millennial lying about your age. Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and STP > Alabama Shakes. Like I said, this band is OK, but they would have just been another indie band of the 90s. They are enjoying a period where most music sucks and any half way decent band is going to stand out like a diamond.
Deary I hate to tell you that Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and STP are shades of the same sound. Pearl Jam and Nirvana separate themselves because their records were more diverse. Grunge is literally heavy blues with flecks of metal thrown in. I'm not saying this band is anything but a solid group who plays solid music. If anything this singer is as solid as any of your named bands in terms of technical quality. Certainly not on the same level of Eddie Vedder in terms of songcraft, yet, but the rest of those bands produced little to no profound work. Without payola radio practices we would know each of them for a couple songs and then poof they'd be done.
+Think890 Did you just say Soundgarden produced little or no profound work? Seriously? I like PJ but Eddie has one style and one voice neither of which are particularly diverse. +Judy Miller The only thing lamer than using the term grunge is proclaiming you are a Gen Xer. Nobody said this was the best band ever. She has an amazing voice and great character in front of an average band who, BTW, would not have been relegated to the sidelines in the early 90's. ..."white liberal, millenial" FFS
That voice, that vibe, that energy, that aura..................irreplaceable and unique.
Brittany always puts 101% of her heart & soul into her performances.........the Shakes are always on point !8-))
Killer Queen/64 this womans voice is physically stunning
Love this song, and they kill it live every time I see them play it
the bass player is always so chill lol. he's either in a chair looking half asleep or just standing like nothing.
hahahaha he's the tempo timer
I’m going to be completely honest I had no idea this was a woman until I looked up the band this song was so powerful her vocal chords are so strong she has such a beautiful voice!! ❤️❤️ I’m in loovvee
I always come back to these performances bc they kill it as usual but also bc of how the crowd reacts, these are great moments in music history
Talk about the passion. I think i saw her heart laying there on the stage. Cheers Brittany
I wish whoever mixed this would've made it louder bc I want to blow my ear drums
Same
Love this Band. Especially way how Brittany expresses emotions. I can't wait to listen to their new album.
i keep coming back to her run at 2:04! the unexpected restraint of it makes it so lovely to hear
Hard to choose my favorite shakes song, but this one is up there. Showcases all of their strengths...
Damn. Brings tears of joy to me green eyes. So...Angelic....Saint Pete, let me in, brother....open them Gates..
Never heard of this group until Austin City Limits. I was blown away..especially. when she sang this. Fell in love with her as artist.
Her dress is gorgeous and I L-O-V-E this song 💖🔀
Please play somewhere near Michigan... I can't describe how your voice hits my inner soul. Absolute love. SO much passion!
I want that woman to keep screaming!
goosebumps of joy right here!

I truly love Brittany. But you're getting a nut, over a few hand gestures ? Ha, ha. You're weird.
this is my new "go to funk"! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Oh, yeah, happy to give you all my ove, baby!!! You're sooooo AWESOME!!!
The band is great, but I so love my power women!! The feeling is so bold, always. Femininity, delicacy, strength, fearlessness, is all I hear!
chills up and down my spine
I swear
Man o man. Love love love.
THEY ARE SO GOOD.
Whether I listen on Spotify, watch the live performances, or listen to covers, this song always makes me cry actual tears.

Go Brittany
Needs a long, smooth jam.
Producer failed the solo part choosing the wrong guitar 😅
SHES EXCELLENT! wish Heath would show a bit more passion, lets his guitar loose a little..
Yup, she did that, she bodied that song, if you need a lesson in sangin just pay attention to this video.
