Thank you Nick.🙏
When you have such a lovely accent you can almost get away with anything 😂
so Nick buys into Rightmove after Smithson sells out????
Last point is rarely ever made.
Finsbury Growth & Income Trust plc has made nothing for its investors in the last three years.
You might as well have put your money on deposit.
true but you wouldnt have made that choice 3 years ago with 0% interest
A big warning against active management
You really have to believe in a strategy that is trying to identify companies that will compound in value over time. This is what Nick Train is trying to do. The problem is the share prices wont go up in a straight line in all periods. The important part is the manager confident the operational performance and the prospects of the company improving. That is in the realm of being a business analyst rather than a trader of shares. If you believe in concentrated compounding vehicles then FGT is an option.
This guy should sell tickets on the Titanic. Does he really think London is going to compete with Nivda, Microsoft and Google?
The owners Lindsell Train pay themselves millions in dividends and have delivered nothing for me. I've fired them from my Sipp.
Why didn’t your financial adviser switch you out long ago ?
Lack of liquidity due to wrong-headed immigration policies now draing the economy and scaring investors away. Total instability.
