Hello Apoorva, Can you please tell us, if DSO denied to transfer the SEVIS ID what should a student do. In my uni it happened with many students. DSO asked 2500$ back from students to transfer Sevis id. And some time do not reply on email.
DSOs can't refuse to transfer the SEVIS ID without a valid reason. You can reach out to SEVP Response Center, if you think your DSO is acting against the rules.

Hi Recently one of my friends SEVIS was terminated. So this was the situation He got visa on XYZ University and landed in USA after 3 4 classes he filed for a transfer to ABC University, then as he mentioned due to some miscommunication his SEVIS was terminated and the XYZ uni says that he has to go back to his country and get a new visa, new SEVIS and come back again. When he asked if he could continue at his studies XYZ University they say now, its not possible. Now he will deported in 15 days And the XYZ is not offering any help, what we think that XYZ uni has deliberately done this because he was taking a transfer, we do not know for sure, can you please provide us some solution, he was literally crying on help and devastated after this terrible incident. It has costed him a lot of money and effort. Please provide a solution

By mistake I have entered a wrong birthdate in the SEVIS F1 visa application form and Payment Conformation receipt has been generated.
