Brass and Copper Hoard ! Nice Brass Containers/Buckets ! 5 Dollars now for Copper - wow - Prices have gone up ! Great Video Bert and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
I'm working on all kinds of stuff getting things processed for a load at the end of the month, as far as non Ferris goes. I have some great big parking lot lights im processing also, really good cast aluminum and big transformers....lots to do over the next couple of weeks! Also a decent amount of copper I'm getting ready, the prices are crazy. I just do it part time, but it helps pay rent.
I've got 12 5 gallon buckets full of windings ready to go and more to pull. I do it on rainy days in the garage or in the middle of winter. They weigh around 75 pounds per bucket because I pack them down. Worth it to me!
He has a point I definitely do run into quite a few aluminum ones nowadays but there's not really too many places to find Copper in any kind of amount it sure beats taken apart little tiny Transformers
Still working on it a little bit every day here and there I haven't taken it in yet I've been watching the prices getting ready don't really need it but might as well sell when it's the highest it is
I all ways enjoy the videos
Thanks 😊
Yea keep the buckets, too nice to scrap & you can make good use of them.
Thanks for the informative video Bert, just might start processing the motors I find! God Bless You and Your Family!😊

Nice chunks of brass and copper. And nice time to cash some in. That's a perfect place for the gardener sign. Good idea.
Thanks Bert,
I am loving the productivity. Gotta make that money.
People who say don't get rid of it, must have lots of money. Do what you want

Not a scrap yard in my town that pays anything over the lowest grade copper for motor windings, just not worth the extra work
Maybe for you and me but Bert has it down to a science 😎

@@ScrapFarm Oh I see. Well, here's hoping you make a LOT!!! 😊
👍👍👍
The definition of hoarder is accumulating out of fear.
speculation is not fear.
Yeah it's not old pissed jugs and newspapers
Power tools to the rescue 💪 🔥
I'm a horder. 🤣 🤣
Another person of culture!
Awsome I’m getting 4.45 for bb and number one 4.35
Hey Bert I ain't seen a yard anywhere near me paying 5 dollars a pound yet
copper copper
Don't be a hoarder? I'm offended. 😢
Do you take the strings and the tape off the motor cut offs. Is there a down grade at your scrap yard.
No ill sell it as # 2 copper
What is that tool called that you push the copper out with? I too am spending some time taking copper from motors.
Rotary hammer
How much for the umbrella stand
Probably just keep it
Do you ever try to do armature electric motors? Or are they to hard
I don't feel there's a lot of yield...for the work... unless you throw them in the wood stove
Is it worth burning them? Is the yield less than the fan motors like the ones in your video
What type of air hammer is that?
Craftsman Battery powered.
Any rotary hammer will work in Hammer mode.... get along chisel bit and cut a v in it
Looks like u need new blades lol
man I wish I was getting $5 a pound for copper. Just today #1 hit $3. BB is $3.25 and #2 is $2.83
