I’m so happy for you. I just got my first reborn and even though she is pretty I’m so disappointed. It was shabby. Nothing pretty and exciting. Baby wasn’t dressed. Everything had a nasty odor and dog hairs on everything. How can I freshen up this little girl. She is not preowned but she’s not fresh as I expected. 😢
Thanks! That’s so disappointing. If I liked the doll and it were me, I would probably order a new cloth body and zip ties and change her body out. Throw out what came with the doll if it stinks and is covered with hair. ♥️
I agree with what you are saying, I’m just a little afraid of ruining it. I’ve zero experience with these babies!
Oh it’s much easier than you may think. There are some great how-to’s on TH-cam too on how to change a reborn doll body and how to weight them. Unless you get new weighting material too, you will just be placing the body weighting material back in the same way you take it out. Just be careful with cutting the zip ties so you don’t knick the vinyl 👍🏻
