Twelve and sixteen when this video was uploaded in 2010, AJ and Molly are 25 and 29 in 2022, and both are award winning musicians. Both are now miles beyond where they were as kids. This video shows why there was never any doubt what their destiny would be!

So many singers who have sung for decades never are able to sing from down deep in their sole. Here we have a child that reaches for that understanding.

This is one of my favorite Gram Parson songs, I have listened to Emmylou Harris, Keith Richards and even the Birds version and honestly the AJ Lee arraignment with the Tuttles is exactly how this song was truly meant to be sung. Where did these people come from? Man they are good! It's nice to see people carrying on the tradition of good old Bluegrass music. I just love their voices, the instruments sound great too. I really enjoy listening to this kinda music.
Not bad for a "...maybe we learned it"-song. Actually, it cant be better, and it makes me feel better. Thanks again. From Norway, where hickory is absent in the woods, as far as I know, but were common knowlegde for old skiers and of course used in shafts for hammers/tools.

Fantastic. Especially like the fiddle, compared to the version where Jack is playing bass and there is no fiddle. Both versions are great; but, I think the fiddle adds to the haunting quality of the song. Of course, AJ Lee is letter-perfect, as always. Thanks for posting.
WOW! I was looking for Gram Parsons' version but stumbled upon this and I'm very happy I did. The entire performance was great but AJ Lee's delivery was masterful and heartfelt. She absolutely did this song justice. Will be looking for more from her and the Tuttles. Well done.

Kind of fascinating to listen to this song written by a genius now preformed by another musical prodigy/genius. Beautiful sound all around.
This level of musicianship is astounding. I can barely play the radio but i know technical skill when I see it. Phenomenal work, ya'll.
