    Update: The XS/S size was giving me headaches after my rides so I sold it and bought the next size up, fits great. Also, TLD just released new colors for the Stage (02/12/2020)!

      The Dr. T-Pro Show! I’m on xs/s on my TLD A2 and Fits me perfectly do you think I should get this stage in xs/s as well? I sold off m/l for my a2 as it’s too big.

      Hey Alan, in general companies tend to run similar sizing between their products. I would say go for the xs/s Stage. Click the "size guide" button after you have selected a helmet for measurements

    Dude that’s sick, and plus I’ve been looking for a well ventilated full face for the heat

    I'm actually looking for an MTB helmet that is ventilated enough so that I could hear outside noises well. Would you say the wind noise with this helmet is less than it would be than if you wore no helmet at all?

    • @DrShredder
      @DrShredder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is some wind noise but it’s not too bad tbh. Very well ventilated

    How does the chin mount affect the weight distribution? Is it still comfortable with the gopro?

    • @DrShredder

      Yes, it does affect the weight distribution. Kind of have to get used to it.

    Hi and thank you for your video!
    I bought the Super Air R, and if I press the chin guard a little hard it touches my chin! Same on the sides! The problem is that there is no thick foam that prevents the chin guard from moving towards the chin.
    Can you test on yours by pressing hard, as if to simulate a violent shock on the ground, from the front and from the side.
    I have the same head circumference as you : 56cm
    Thank you.

    • @DrShredder
      @DrShredder  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, you are welcome :) The Super Air R definitely has a smaller chin bar so it doesn't surprise me that you can get it to touch your chin. The stage doesn't have padding around the chin either but there's more space. If you're looking for something with more padding for DH, I use the Giro Disciple 🤙🏼

  • @adrianoquezada696
    @adrianoquezada696 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I have the same helmet if you are annoyed by the straps pass them through behind the pads then it’s perfect

    • @DrShredder
      @DrShredder  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually went up a size and it's WAY more comfortable. Also someone commented a few months ago with this, "You absolutely shouldn’t pass the straps behind the pads. The helmet was designed to have the straps pass between your face/neck and the pads in order to have proper leverage on your face if you crash. With the straps beneath the pads, the chin bar and entire rest of the helmet can easily slide upwards, leaving your face exposed and defeating the purpose of wearing a full face helmet."

  • @bf3forevergreene165
    @bf3forevergreene165 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It doesn’t look like there is a lot of padding on the top and back? Is that ok? And how would U rate the ventilation

    • @DrShredder
      @DrShredder  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The ventilation is great and the padding is sufficient. There are definitely full-face helmets with better padding out there. The Stage is for those looking for the lightest possible option and still have FF coverage. 🤙🏼

      JOHN CA You absolutely shouldn’t pass the straps behind the pads. @Rollingfran 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Big_Boi23 I was actually going to do the same. The straps really bother me after 2 hours riding especially after climbing. For that money I would have expected something more comfortable

    • @Big_Boi23
      @Big_Boi23 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Rollingfran I personally haven't found the straps to be uncomfortable, but that's just my experience. We all have different shapes/sizes/features. If I were buying new again, though, I'd get the Fox Pro Frame so that I could easily mount a Go Pro to the chin.
