Finally a better way to construct this card. I have not liked any of the cards I made because of the fact that the pop up doesn't always work. I just decided not to make anymore. I will give this method a try. Thanks for sharing. I love your videos and projects!! Hugs! Carol
I've made me one..but I didn't have purchased acetate. I used plastic from some dies I bought. Its a thinker plastic but worked just fine. Now I gotta order some acetate from Sara Davies' Crafters Companion... Thank you so much for teaching us great ideas. I just love your ideas...😘😘
I haven't got round to making one of these yet but I definitely will now, this is the best use of acetate I've seen for card making for a long time .....Genius !! Thanks for sharing Sam X
This is great Sam. I made one a few weeks ago and after getting it out of the envelope to give to someone it was flat and not staying up well. So I gave a different card. Now I will make them like this. Thanks.
Yep, I think a lot of people would have had the same issue, I gave my original ones almost instantly after making them so never noticed the issue. This way is so much better :)
Great tutorial, I made one using acetate a few months ago but I did a steampunk version with most of the base uncovered so it looked like the inside of a clock. If I make another one I'll definitely use your washi tape tip because it did try to slip as I was cutting. Your beach themed ones are so cute! TFS.
As a creator I had to come comment on your tutorial style, you are blooming fantastic my crafty friend, the way you explain everything and your voice and how calm and down to earth you are it’s fantastic. I haven’t played with paper crafts for 7 years due to rheumatoid arthritis, in that time I’ve made soaps and bath bombs etc. Recently my hands have become more usable thanks to medication and I’m delving back in right now, so far I’m playing at home without the camera on to see get some fun out of it and figure out what I’m doing, so much has changed in 7 years, looks like I’m going to have to invest in a die cutting machine! Thank you for this video and all the videos of yours I’ve been watching lately. You have a great style and you are clearly very talented. I am learning lots from you 💖
Superb! I have that envelope score board but can't get smooth join with regards to bringing it together ...but I will try that technique of doing opposite sides first! Thank you ...appreciated!
Did you use DS tape to adhere the mat paper and, if so, does it show on the underside? OR did you cut white mats for the bottom? Love this idea with the acetate. Thanks for sharing it.
I made several and just used my liquid glue. Didn't show hardly at all. Just love the acetate idea and we made them at my stamp club Tuesday night. Everyone really liked them.
Have watched this tutorial several times and want to give it a try. Do you know what weight of acetate you are using? I notice it comes in .003 and .007 . Would I want to purchase the .003 card weight or the .007 stencil weight? Love your easy to follow directions. Thank you so much for presenting these wonderful projects.
I would avoid the .003 acetate. It is extremely thin and it tears. Wish I would not have bought it. The .01 acetate might be a little thick for this card (need to test it out). Wish I knew if the .007 acetate would work.
Brilliant idea. Thank you for sharing. I will be making my cards that way as well, my impossible cards that is. You are awesome. You continue to inspire me with each and every craft you share. God bless you and your family and hugs. Oh by the way where did you get your wooden bone folder ?

I make invitations for my sister's Christmas party and this will make a brilliant card for this event. Thank you!
it's so hard here in Australia, the postage costs often outstrip the product. I haven't been able to find the decoupage pad you are using
loving it.....tfs
I am going to use this method for my mother's day card!

I had such fun making a Christmas version of this. Your tutorial was great and I had no problem following along. Tfs 😜💗😁
Did you use DS tape to adhere the mat paper and, if so, does it show on the underside? OR did you cut white mats for the bottom? Love this idea with the acetate. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you Linda, I used my DS tape which doesn't show however you can easily just add some white mats at you mention :) x
I made several and just used my liquid glue. Didn't show hardly at all. Just love the acetate idea and we made them at my stamp club Tuesday night. Everyone really liked them.
Hermoso!
