Spend the money to get the spray in bed liner if you are going to be using your truck bed regularly. The good brands are insanely durable and will help keep your value up longer.
@@JackofHaulTrades You won't be disappointed. I had a guy at Home Depot pressing down on my bed with forklift blades when loading a pallet and it didn't dent or leave a mark. I am still shocked.
i've had a few of these. I think these kinds of customers have a poor memory, or they pretend to, and they get anxious when days or weeks go by and you dont "touch base with them" (even though you've already said everything to each other there's absolutely nothing to communicate with them about) and then when they dont get that pointless communicating they immediately jump to the conclusion that they're not going to hear from you ever again so they go straight to calling someone else to do the work you were scheduled to do. Sometimes they know theyre in the wrong but they try to act like somehow you let them down anyway to not feel like they were the party at fault
Yes that is exactly it. She had to borrow the money from her daughter to pay for this job. But my guess is she spent the money before I got to it the next day or something and just decided to blame me 🤷♂️

I just watched your video I like watching your videos you're a young man That won't give up and keep your nose to the grinding stone👍 You're going to have people like that usually you don't want to work for people like that because at the end she probably would not gave you that tip. it's been a tough season for everyone working outside because all the rain I'm in Ohio and it's rained a lot and I watch other TH-cam channels and it's rained a lot so keep grinding. The last video I commented about watching that (victory outdoor services) He's in his middle 40s he's been in business for 20 plus years just watch how he does things his videos are awesome everybody loves his videos he's got over half a million subscribers in about 2 years. You have a good weekend and hope you're working and making that cash.💯

@@JackofHaulTrades No I'm 62 years old I'm retired so I don't know if anything can pick up as my retirement check every month LOL. Keep doing what you do it's working.
sounds like you got lucky to me, If the person is already complaining, and you haven’t even started work yet. blessing that you don’t have to work with them because they can be problematic super picky or not wanting to pay if the job isn’t perfected to their liking
We had a client once that was in an apartment complex. The day she requested an estimate I told her I could stop by between jobs but wouldn't be able to start until the following day. She wanted it done that day, but we couldn't do it timewise. Insisted we came later that evening and would pay more. I talked to her buildings front desk and they said we couldn't work after 5pm. Relayed it to the customer, she flipped out and said If i didn't want to do it, just to tell her. She told us never mind and tried calling another company. Same issue came up with hours of the building. Called us back and asked us to come this Sunday. Me Knowing that the complex takes hours seriously, I asked if that was allowed with her building and she insisted it was. Contrary to my uncertainty, we showed up Sunday morning. Building said no to entry, called the client and she said "oh yea forgot to tell you guys, I found someone else because I was tired of going back and forth, they're coming tomorrow morning (Monday)". LOL
You have to clarify to each customer , BEFORE YOU START , how you establish an order of priority on completing each job and How you handle bad weather days ! IF a customer changes their mind , fine , thank you and move on to the next job ! ALWAYS be nice , and leave them with a positive opinion OF YOUR CHARACTER and ask them to caLL YOU FOR ANY FUTURE WORK THEY MAY HAVE !
That's exactly what I did. I took the blame and even offered a $100 discount for the inconvenience and she still said no lol. So I said have a great rest of your weekend 🫡
Andrei, seems like your bigest time sink is in person estimates. What if you have the customer send a picture of the junk to remove? or offer a discount if they accept your quote while you are on site to make the estimate? you need to minimize the time you spend on estimates that do not turn out to be a job. Also, no more purchases on credit even if on a zero percent interest for a period. Only purchase in cash for items to expand your business. It is too risky. I hope all the best for you and your family.
I don't spend that much time with junk removal estimates. I close most of them on the spot, so it works out quite well. But with equipment work, it's a whole different game that I need to master lol. Yes, no more credit card debt for now 😅... I don't regret it because the debt does make me money, but it's definitely very risky business. I appreciate the kind words, brother! I wish you and your family blessings as well 🙏
I feel you bro. Some lady fired me on work I had already started. Literally my transmission broke down on my truck the day of and i communicated to her immediately and she was fine with it then the next day she called me saying I’m unreliable and wanted a refund on work I already did smh
Had someone try to not pay me atleast half on a drywall job I had 30 minutes left on because I told him 5 hours before scheduled appointment I may be a little late(30 minutes) he was okay with it then when I texted him an hour before original schedule saying I would be on time he said he would reschedule for the next week because he had something to do well he never did so I called and he said he had someone else finish the job the same day I was supposed
@ ikr he tried telling me he already paid half but that was when I first started my business half ONLY covered materials I’d already been there 2 separate days because he insisted on using drywall mud he already had so I had to wait 24 hrs between coats
All in all a one day job turned into three because he didn’t want to pay for quick set mud then he tried to cancel when I only had to sand the last coat and apply texture
