So, basically... this audio answers the question, "What if Hill House was a yandere?" Regardless, I suppose that a house that has a loving, if not necessarily lively, companion is always a treat! And quite rare, unfortunately...

Still, there’s some mystery to be had about whether Hill House wants Nell to “stay” with it out of platonic or romantic love, because it sees in her a kindred spirit, or because it’s just messing with the most psychically gifted of the team. Whereas here, we see our Hill House expy has the hots for her guest. Which is a bit ironic, since ghosts are usually associated with the cold. 😉
This was a great way to start the month. Less cartoonish than your regular yanderes and great overall. You know, you do have the skills for this, I could picture in one of those horror radio dramas.
Damn, I really got abducted by a sentient house. Not even being The Chosen One prepared me for this! This was pretty nutty AND spooky! I'm so excited to see what other stories you've got in store this month!
OK, this is going to sound stupid, but I liked this for a very weird reason. Ever since I learned about symbiosis in biology class, I've always been a little bit fascinated with the idea of _living inside_ the body of another sentient being - it feels like a really unique type of bond (either platonic or romantic) and I think I'd find it a very pleasant experience, provided I was the "passenger." Obviously with most kinds of creatures you wouldn't be able to safely turn their body into your home, but every once in a while you come across a situation where it's possible, and this is one of those times. Personally I'm not a huge friend of an "evil" yandere, but I would love the idea of a _living house_ who loves me, and makes my life easier, while I give her fulfillment. (Love the rumbles we could hear when she raised her voice, by the way. I feel like in a different context, I could actually find that vibration coming from a living thing oddly comforting). And I know it's her gaslighting us, but I also liked the idea of her being "the manifestation of your struggle to overcome your fear of interacting with the public." I think the idea of the listener speaking to a being _born from their subconscious_ super interesting, and wish I heard that more in ASMR. I think this idea works well with "dream monsters" or sleep paralysis demons!
That's cool, I love hearing about the reasons why an audio hits with a listener. I can see how this would be a comforting scenario if the house were a bit more reasonable. I did a sleep paralysis demon script near the end of October in which the demon was initially a product of the listener's subconscious, only to become real over time. You might enjoy that one.

The concept here is cool, yandere house is not something I’ve heard or read before, but there’s some lore I’d like, how does the house cuddle? How integrated is she with furniture? If I replace the doors will she still be able to open them? Was the house always haunted? Why pretend to be figment of imagination? She refers to herself as an apartment, is the entire building her or just my section? Admittedly none of that really matters I’ll accept the house either way, economy and all that. I typed this up yesterday day forgot to hit comment
The furniture seems to be a part of her, since she can control the clock and the TV, as well as blankets (at least according to the script. I didn't know how to convey that via audio.) So just sitting on the couch probably counts as cuddling. I think pretending to be a figment of the listener's imagination is a way of establishing control. She probably started small, with things that were easily dismissed but that you wouldn't tell anyone about for fear of sounding crazy. And then when you'd established a pattern of not asking for help, she'd gradually ramp up her intensity. She'd have time to get you to withdraw from your friends so no one would come looking for you when you stopped leaving the house. And I kind of pictured it as a duplex, with the other half unoccupied. I probably should have changed that part of the script, because it is a bit unclear.

Okay you should know before i move in: I leave the toilet seat up. I put tuna cans in the fridge even they dont need to. I love to bake and the kitchen WILL be dirty. If i see any messages on the wall in blood im going to ignore them. Sometimes i lay down on the floor or eat my dinner under the table. So, when were the last time you had a renovation?
Yeah everything will be just fine, *calls family and priest to save me*. The house being haunted was not covered in the initial tour of the property, whoever forgot to include that is gonna get it. Nice work as usual and a good start to spooky month, appreciate the movie recommendations. 🎃
