    I met this beautiful woman in Annapolis at the Banneker Douglass Museum and at the MD State Archives. I've also visited Historic Sotterley on a few occasions. Extensive AA history can be found there. If you can visit, I would highly reccomend it. You can read more about Ms Agnes Kane Callum on both websites of Sotterley and the MD State Archives (MD Women's Hall of Fame).....Rest In Peace Ms. Callum.

    Beautiful interview! Thank you Agnes for your work/legacy. I recently visited the Sotterley Plantation after doing some ancestry research and found out that I'm also related to this lovely lady by marriage, I'm proud :)

    Makes me so angry that so many people are so ungrateful today out there killing each other over what? Makes me cry for all those that fought to be free and those that fought to free those enslaved

      They "survived the system" ... what a beautiful lady and a great story
