I understand that I can be heavy to listen to during these times.

Inzaghi is a top-tier coach. I'm an Atletico fan and I see Atletico when I watch Inter. Both teams play the same formation with the same ideas about space and how to build up, both teams defend with passion. Inzaghi looks like Simeone's equal IMO.
Inter was better than Atleti when we beat them last year but we've improved a lot since then, but I'd still rather not have to face them in the knockout rounds lol

The difference between Milan and Inter is Marotta. They got a good Sporting Director now CEO to manage the football side of the club while Milan has no Sporting Director and a bunch of amateurs running the football side of the club.
You can’t build a successful winning team without a proper Sporting Director and CEO. Milan need to remove Ibra, Furlani, Moncada and Fonseca.

lol ... when we started this coach change process,
    - Tuchel - too volatile with control over his transfers , so no we will pass
    - Pochettino - oh, tottenham only went to one champions league final (nevermind they play very good competitive football despite limited resources)
    - Allegri - we have been there and done that
    - Sarri - his time at Chelsea is a blotch (nevermind he had very good seasons and football system at Napoli)
    - Conte - Winning mentality, too volatile with control over his transfers , so no we will pass
The latter are just some dumb excuses i observed in the summer, now look at us suffering with a coach who cant even control what is in his remit (a proper playing system).
We instead go for the most obscure coach we can find, and the team lacks personality and identity even more now. I am not surprised. Inzaghi could be defined as "not winning much" either with Lazio, but his system and attacking football never ever gets compromised, Inter are now the beneficiaries.
We will get outplayed in the next derby (again). It's both the management and the fans fault. I would have never chosen Fonseca if I had ambition.
Even Xabi Alonso, Kompany etc etc i would have more loved. winning mentality coaches who are adaptable.

For me, the biggest problem is midfield. They're hugely liable for our defensive problems. As you said, Kush, we don't have any proper defensive midfielders, and our back line gets absolutely no protection from our midfield whatsoever.
When any decent team loses the ball all the midfielders and even the wide players bust a gut to get back and creat another line in front of the back 4. Notice how that doesn't happen with us? Midfielders take AGES to get back and even when they do they don't form a proper defensive shape. Its so easy to get at our back line. Just one or 2 fairly simple passes and anyone can be straight up against our centre-backs.
Honestly. They realise we need a better RB than Calabria, but they sign emerson-Royal ? Like is this meant to be a joke?
Youseff Fofana. I dont watch french football so have never seen him play before ac milan. And yes he needs more than his few game so far before we can truly judge, but every game ive seen him hes been absolutely abysmal so far. Has no prescence. Very low level passing ability. No strength, a real lack of positioning. Seems like another overhyped french player so far.
Loftus cheek, simply not good enough for ac milan. I cqn remember 2 occasions in the first half where we put together some slick passing moves and it looked like we could creat a change, then it went to Loftus chekk and he fucks it up with horrible passes or touches and then Liverpool are on the counter.
Reijnders is ovverated asf. Hoenstly don't see what anyone sees in this guy, hardly creates anything, only makes simple passes, constantly loses the ball or goes backwards/sideways. He's awful.
I actually felt sorry for our Centre Backs. Them and the goalkeeper constalty had the ball to try play out from the back with no one from midfield giving them any real decent options

Maybe Inter was not attractive against City (honestly I think they had some spectacular and very fast offensive transitions... and this is also beauty), but part of the aesthetic side was sacrificed in favor of effectiveness. the match was played against the strongest team in the world and Inter were not there to look good, but to win or bring home a good result. in the Champions League no one has won at City's home for 19 games and of these 19 only 3 were draws (I think). this is to say that Inter is a mature and intelligent team and knows that there are games where they can focus more on playing good football and others where concentration, the defensive phase and counterattacking with speed and awareness are more important. Inter played the game they wanted in Manchester and, given City's difficulties, I would also say the game they had to play.

AC Milan has sooooooo many problems at the moment I'm not sure anyone could get them out of this current form in a short time. What is even worse is that most of the problems are not easily correctable. Getting a new coach will help, but Zlatan has shown no ability to build a team. If you think you are getting Klopp while Zlatan is in charge I feel sorry for you, Klopp would never deal with Zlatan's ego. Klopp's influence pushed out several members of the front office at Liverpool the last few years he was there so he could gain more influence.
Plus the club doesn't have the buying power it once did. They way they consistently complain about paying agent fees you can tell they don't have a lot of money to spend compared to other clubs and leagues. Honestly money may be the club's biggest problem right now. Perhaps that's why Cardinale is pushing this co-branding with the Yankees, because your club needs to find somewhere between 100 - 150 Euros maybe more to fix the team in it's current state.
Everything you talked about seeing on the pitch I see as well. Leao and Theo look jaded... especially Theo. Calabria may give it his all on the pitch but needs to be on the bench most matches because he's just not good enough. Gakpo tore him to shreds. Emerson isn't much better. The spine of the team doesn't look good either. Morata doesn't look like he's really fit. the only midfielder you have that can connect play and stay fit is Reinders. Tomori needs someone better next to him, his form is being affected by the lack of stability around him. Maignan is good but he's always hurt.
I feel bad for you and Pulisic. AC Milan should be a powerhouse in Europe not this mess

In my opinion, Ibrahimovic is just the tip of the iceberg. He is the public face of this project and all its problems. The poor market decisions have left the team with a weak midfield and maybe not the right coach. If he thinks about himself, he will step aside from this project, and I think that’s what will happen because we all know he’s kind of selfish.

I disagree 1000% with you and all the other podcasters. That think the 4-3-3 formation is the answer. You need 3 very good midfielders for that. Ive explained in great detail on my recent pods.

Clowndinale needs to sell the team and we need to clean out this management from top to bottom fire everyone maldini and the saudis need to come in and buy this team and we need another rebuild, sell everyone except Pulisic cuz clearly he’s the only one trying. Clowndinale shoulda bought udinese or Torino not Ac Milan and the fact he didn’t know ac Milan won 7 champions leagues is just criminal. Forza Milan tho ❤🖤 fuck redbird and fuck clowndinale
