A lot of brands nowadays are just copy and paste, and really don’t care about the art. If any of y’all looking for cool underground designers, kodyphillips, badson, Retronyma, roytreur, houseoferrors, and issakastudios.

Great market analysis FH, I can see you are applying much of the knowledge I have learned in my ENT 305 Intro to Entrepreneurship class. Instead of doing a bloated market-wide analysis and making imitations of what appears to sell, designers should adopt a Blue Ocean strategy and create unique value in an unexplored "blue ocean" market which fills a yet-unrealized niche. As a designer myself I did this by creating my own primitivistic printing press out of reclaimed wood, so that I can have unique capital that differentiates my products from the masses who are largely using the same capital (e.g. PS, illustrator, Seaggs Vector pack). By returning to these primitive wood-block prints, my goods are differentiated from the average screen-printed goods in the market, which ties into my brand philosophy of organic design and using analog, organic modes of representation over digital or binary waveforms. Anyways, I have been following you since the early days on IG and I always love to see the new bi-yearly uploads, keep it up FH :)

Unless you can communicate this entire paragraph in like 5 words or less, you're basically dead in the water already, no matter how many chainsaws and blocks of wood you have. I actually like your idea yet I have 0 incentive to even look into it nor do I believe that your philosophy allows me to look cool. This isn't about YOU looking cool and being differentiated, this is about me, and all your future clients. If your block print helps get someone a date, you did your job. If not, you failed. Why do you believe that anyone cares about printing with a less efficient method? In what way could this possibly help solve MY problem, also known as : the entire point of a business

@@leakedanimations5999 Haha you might be doing it well then! What I said was really just the logical conclusion of what fashion really means in the world (getting a date/job etc), what it means in a broad sense is just, your designs have to be so good that it makes someone care about your overall vision, whether that be block printing or anything else. No one is searching "block printed shirts" realistically on a high enough basis to have that be the value prop of the business, so it's like, that all comes after. If you can make a block print so revolutionary that it begets my appreciating the technique and vision of the brand, then you've done your job. That's really what I meant to say. I think this is just inevitable. Its called the artists voice. Not every artist has a voice and even if they do not every artist has a good voice or voice people care about. The biggest crime many artists make is not being in love with their craft(ie. git gud) to even be able to find their voice let alone make it. I draw. Theres hella art i can come across online that stylistically is so copy and paste and really a waste of time to view. Same type of people who will ask for critique and you find out their only study point is a guy on youtube. They say they like to draw but do they really if they only want to draw one way. I think this shit is the best thing for fashion or for my fashion at least, me personally I buy eye opening pieces big logos & cool designs & the more “copy & paste” brands that come out some of them end up coming out with genuinely creative designs, in my eyes wearing a design nobody has ever seen before is just as flex as wearing designer💪
