If it's one thing I can almost guarantee with this hobby is, with age you start longing for less bling and rgb. SFF builds are just so much cleaner imo, and I wish I had jumped on the bandwagon years ago. Fantastic video!

6:05 and 9:39 A little hint: Attach the two fractal-hexa-spacers (7mm) between the power supply-holder and the powersupply. The airflow from the GPU then gets past the powersupply much better. Otherwise you did a very good job here. Many greetings from germany.
Fractal has been killing it lately. Torrent is a monster airflow case, followed by the beautiful North, and now we get something for the itx crowd for people who like the wood aesthetics of the North.
The set up is amazing!!! I started assembling an all-black pc because of you, it's really nice and clean as a design. there are just the rams that illuminate the interior in white like the black out build you make. I'm just waiting to receive my Asus Dual RTX 4070 OC (because of micro atx case and build) to complete my configuration. I can't wait to see the future builds you're going to do with the pc cases shown at the computex!! See you !
This guy knows how to make dream builds. I'm actually reconsidering my future build now, I was planning a small factor build in a Fractal Torrent Nano, and now that I know all the components that I want fit in this case, I may go with it! Thanks Matt!

Matt, thanks for that video! I can't believe it though, I build my own system using the Fractal Design Terra before you did. You always seem to be so quick off the mark in building a system when a new case comes out, even before the cases are generally available to the public. I must have seen the announcement on the same day the cases were released locally, and immediately ordered one. While I guess you were delayed due to needing to fly back from Taipei. My only complaint about the case is that it doesn't have a setting for no GPU, where all the space is given for a CPU cooler. I recently had a need to get a portable system to take on the road, strictly to be used for software development, and the iGPU on the Intel CPU is plenty for that use, so I want a 13900K and a tall air cooler, but only low profile coolers will fit, due to the lack of a no GPU setting. I went with the same Asus motherboard as you, and also the same Thermalright CPU frame. Now I need to find a good Pelican style carrying case to use when transporting the system along with keyboard and accessories. This is my first ITX system, and I thought I'd never want one, but when the need came, and Fractal Design made the right case, I'm quite pleased with the result. Aesthetically, your build is of a much higher quality than mine, but for this system, the inside isn't so visible, so I decided to go with what works best, and not worry about the aesthetics.

Thanks for the Terra built as it caught my eye on your Computex video. Your attention to detail is crazy, wood stickers inside, wood wrist rest, keyboard modding. No limit in your creativity. One question is whether a water cooled AIO is an option for this build. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
For the case I went with the 7800X3D, Asus B650E-I, XFX 7900XT on PC part picker and I might build. idk, I'm just more team red. Living in Alaska, I love the Aesthetics of the chassis and the fact it's a mini is even better because of how small my cabin is. Thanks for sharing

You are sure Fractal did not paid you to make this video? :-) Beautiful! I really think if I saw this video BEFORE I did my ITX build, I will seriously consider to do the same. Small form factor is not for everybody. The goal here is not to have the most powerful build. Even if you proved it can be an efficient game station which is awesome. Minimalistic in size and components. Less is more, I like it! I use the same MB for my own ITX build and I found is not easy to undervolt and significantly reducing the cpu temp without sacrificing a lot of performance. If anyone is interested, his my tips: 1. Disable the CPU throttling power (BIOS) 2. Install the previous micro-code 104 (available from the Tweak Paradise menu, also in the Asus BIOS) 3. Only then, you could undervolt with negative offset. Doing so, not only I reduced the temperature of 6-10C, I also improved the performance (CineBench R23 from 28K to 30K, i7-13700K). For the GPU, I used MS Afterburner, I get also 6-10C and I improved the performance a bit(4%) by overclocking the memory clock(+1200Mhz, Gigabyte RTX 3070). Stable since (1 month).

I don't think so, the only place you could mount it is at the GPU side, but that only leaves space for a very small gpu.
