I remember back when the greatest robots you could get were Leo, Rhino, even Raijin. I grinded day and night as a kid for Raijin and 2 trebuchets and had so much fun with it after months of hard work paying off. And I remember the pain of coming back and seeing such a monstrous build now being one of the worst laughingstocks...
Oooof I grinded so hard and unlocked both raijin and fujin and was ruling the whole lobby😂😂 and nobody was able to kill me. But now those robots won’t last a minute in the battlefield
From a game who had 3 simple rules: 1. every robot had 1 ability that's it. 2. no pilots no super duper overpowered money spending guns or equipment. 3. everyone had equal the fire power and equal robots that everyone could get by doing a little farming.

I remember back in the day, my clan and I would run 5 Gepards and all Magnums and just run everything down as a team. We were all laughing so hard that we could kill huge bots using monster damage map crossing weapons with something that only had 350m range. But that was because we were all working as a team, with solid strats, and hopping from wall to ditch to avoid the powerful (not OP) Kang Daes and Trebs. No teleporting, all blocking shields, invincibilities, and do-all weapons. Good times.
WR peaked at 2016. Times when Zeus,Trebuchet Fury and Lancelot were considered -broken- . You could actually grind gold and earn things without $$$. If they ever revert to that version i will definitely be playing again
So I have to agree. I’ve just retired as the senior officer of an AAA (formerly S) ranked clan and the only thing holding me to this game was the clan. The way the game has evolved is so heartbreaking. Pixonic really had something beautiful, that despite years of questionable decisions, the game flourished. I personally just feel bored by the game now. I’m not quitting, per se, but I’m definitely winding down. Haven’t opened it in like a week, which is strange for me because I used to be a daily active player. In any case, I think I’m really fortunate because while I’ve spent some money, I haven’t spent crazy amounts like many others, and I still was able to be a part of an amazing community, and make some really cherished memories and lasting friendships. I don’t regret spending in the game, unlike so many others. So I guess this is where I cut my losses and thank my lucky stars I wasn’t amongst the people who truly regret what they spent be it money or time. Most games, especially the type of game WR is, offer to players at the highest level a very special perspective. War Robots was the first game I was able to take to that level, and it will always hold a special place in my heart❤.

I still play robots, but am going to stop playing the game soon, because it is not fun anymore, it's not fair to, imagine newer players after reaching level 9 facing mk2 bots, war robots is not the legend it used to be, my fav robot, inquisitor, now he is just pure trash :( i just miss 2017 and 2018 war robots so bad, manni tried to save the game and this is how they repaid him, plus new war robots players are very toxic, they disrespect older war robots players because they said that the game is unfair and pay to win, insulting them and telling them about how they are poor, it's just sad.
today - 1:09 pm , 3 consecutive games .... 1. a speed hacker with a bunch of mk3 crisis (champions league) pretty much ended the game solo after people stopped spawning - name - JOHN RAMBO . , game ID :3ICOG1 2. a speed hacking teleporting infinite ability user with 5x HB (forgot to grab game ID but since it was a new account with 200 games i'm sure he'll be back on another account starting account name with numbers and letters) 3. a lucha telepoter with infinite ability use - teleports anywhere on the map from red original spawn and insta kills anyone , Chinese account with no name (name was blank) another champion leaguer with 30k+ games played. after this point i turned off the game , these where the first and last of todays games.
I grew up watching you Manni. You introduced me to war robots, and later, I found your second channel, which encouraged me to get my first console. You started me on a hobby I will love for life, and for that I am forever grateful. Wherever your channel goes, I'll be there with you. Keep going! 😁❤
Not mention they keep implementing new pay walls. We have power cells, silver, gold, memoriam, drone chips, Mk3 tokens and I gurentee they are far from over because their loosing funds so their finding way to make their spenders spend even more. WR will end eventually. Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow but it will eventually end. Pixonic won't try to save it, once they know the day has come, they'll turn off the servers and no one will ever be able to get back on ever again.
@@maristellatadolini5916 lvl 30 is farely easy to obtain. Lvl doesn't mean much. It's your ranking that makes the difference. If your Masters or Champ League, you'll start fighting Raptors and everything else

Hopefully new players will still come across your content, exposing the theft that is going on with War Robots. Another greedy company, stealing from the little guy. I know you invested so much of your life into this, and I have watched it all play out. It's too much. I've been a viewer since 2017. For 7 straight years, Manni has built so much around this game, the videos, the community, the good mood, the funny moments, the live treams, the laughs, the crazy setups, the mighty vortex spectre.... All of this and pixonic doesn't even care about giving hik back. At least try to keep this channel alive, and his community togeather. Absolutely right i took so many hackers game ID, if they have shitty accounts 1 hell burner and mercury and 1 kid all L1 pixo ban them very quickly but i reported so many S clans players with full 5 maxed hangers mainly on android and pc platform they are still in the game.despite me reporting them and sending pixo video footages, i checked just now 15 of them still in game with over 20 k cups lol. Someone playing this game over 8 years new guys please listen Manni and do not pay for any money this game does not deserve i am trying to warn you from my mistakes no youtubers warned us previosly good as this, so many games out there will help you waste time much much better than this greedy game
About two months ago when I still enjoyed the game, I got tired of meta equipment killing me and spent a LOT of money on the game to have a meta hanger which was fun to be able to finally compete but now some of the stuff I bought are already mediocre and have things that are way stronger. I now regret spending so much on a dying game but I’ve now learnt a lesson.
War robots is a completly different game to what it used to be. Back when the only weapons that could hit you at 1100 metres were direct line of sight, but nie they have the hurricane that can kill you and you have very little chance. It was fun when the toughest opponents were the Leo and Rhino and not because they have an aegis shield or damage reduction. It was because they have more health then most other robots.
Pixonic has become a nest of hungry and ambitious executives. If you buy a weapon using money, the following week they will release another one that costs twice as much, and you won’t be able to do anything against it, even with the weapon you had already paid for.

Well, let me be straight about it: We don't need War Robots and we all should find another game to play instead of get angry about the current situation of this game. If Pixonic want the game to die, so let be.
Sadly, there just no alternatives on the market, or Pixonic wouldn't been able to pull off the thing they're pulling off right now. We have countless clones with the same business model, but overall worse quality, and also we have BoT which is really cool, fun and balanced but it doesn't have much content and won't receive any updates anymore because of the developers systems getting busted by sanctions.

Beside that, I think people from ocidental side should create a robot game to compete directly with War Robots. Such a game still not exist by any ocidental side, simpley by lack of interest in that market.

I stopped playing this years ago. Before pandemic. Back then, it was already obvious developer kept on pushing new OP robots or weapons too fast, even before you can upgrade one of your own. If only they're not this greedy, would have been a blast to play this all day long during jobless pandemic season.
War Robots took a book, actually...... no, the whole library out of Pixel Gun 3D. Killing their game by making it as P2W as possible. Lets not breathe in any copium about this game and just think these following questions through. Is it fun, maybe but mostly no. Is it worth staying around, probably not. Is it even skill based, not any more. When was the last time youve see someone bring out a Fujin, Raijin, Leo, Doc, Strider, Lancelot, Gallahad or even Griffin? Probably a long time ago. Fujin, Leo, Gallahad and Griffin are used because they were the F2P options, Strider, Lancelot and Doc were the P2W skill options back then. Raijin, it was and still is a burn wreck. Skill options arent good since your skill only bring you 5% further when money brings you the rest of the way. I always bring up World of Tanks Blitz when talking about skill since having something considered "Broken" only brings you 50% of the way, your skill still can dictate outcome. War Robots, skill doesnt dictate the outcome. It has been rigged from the start.
Pg3d does require more skill compared to wr because of the variety of options/playstyles, 360 aim but yeah, they just give p2w what should be dev only equipment and then there’s an insane gap between the players making f2p nothing compared to expensive one tap overlord tanks
To be honest I’m obsessed with investing in war robots. My first purchase gave me a strong robot and weapon that made me addicted to more and more investment until I spent almost all my savings. I only ate noodle cups for days at school so I could save money to make a purchase but that’s when I realized they were just money hungry criminals who doesn’t care about their player but only care about money.
I used to spend before pilots rework and drones and stuff, but those updates really killed the fun for me. After that, I started to realize how many good games there are, which are available for a 1 -time purchase or even open source.
I was also stuck in that cycle. I have been playing since 2014 but you have to be real, they've gone too far now. In game purchases is one thing but the prices they charge are obscene. It's disgraceful. I have now stopped spending altogether and I play less and less all the time. You know something....I feel better for it. Especially when I see my bank balance now.
I just downloaded it again, i upgraded some robots and watched some ads to reduce the time. Guess what, the ad is them shoving my throat D-Gems wanting me to buy it lol.
I’m one of the oldest players on this game I will remember the OG War Robots forever I hope the game doesn’t disappear one day But nothing last forever Is sad to think that one day war robots no more And will never be able to play again For me, it’s still fun, but not as fun as before and I understand it can be cash sometimes but let’s play as much as we can because eventually one day we won’t be able to. I own an MK2 Raptor, and I heavily rely on it because it's the only robot in my hanger that can last a minute or two, I don't have it's pilot or drone, I just have some old weapons and hope
Throughout the years of me playing war robots, I've experienced two hackers one of them twice and way too many people who are way too strong for their league just because they spent money, All they have to do is make the game more equal but instead they keep on adding money offers and adding new bots, it is nice to get new bots and guns but we need balance changes things to make everything fair (To be honest though, 90% of my guns are level 2 and yet I still get a decent amount of kills and expert League)

I am a veteran since 2014 (I was 7) and I quit since 2020, but now I am trying to f2p now in 2024 and I am getting destroyed by people who just started but invested all their money in their wallets... Will War Robots change? Will they do something? If I had an idea, they could make a different game, or you have in settings a button where you would go back in the old times, like in 2018 or maximum 2019, what do you think? I also play brawl stars a lot, I have rank 30 bibi and rank 35 crow, but my main games are vlave games, roblox and a lot more.
I really agree and support what you said there, its such a sad and unfortunate reality on what this game has became, i really missed the 2017 - 2019 WWR as that was the best version and phase of the game where it was fun with new content while still requiring good amount of skill... About the "hacker" part though chances are those accounts could be accounts that got hijacked by a hacker taking over the original account owner and turning it into the hacker's account.

True, i quit war robots 7 months ago and never regretted it. But i just watch ur videos instead. The wallet demand was too great and it just felt like such an obvious cyclical process it felt stupid to continue playing and trying to survive the over saturated micro transactions.

It has sucked the fun out of it and it has no place in my life anymore. i agree with you manni. ive spent alot on this game and 1 it pretty much does nothing for me as a player and 2 the game has just turned into a sniping game where people dont have to even look at you to kill you. the game is dead sadly :( but ill always be here watching ur content. have a good day!
I started playing WR again. I created a new account and started from the beginning to see if I can feel that fun and excitement I had a few years ago. But unfortunately, I started to realize why I stopped playing. On the course of me playing this game again for three days, I've encountered 3 hackers and a lot of players with insane robots who insta kills me. As a F2P type of player, I can't see how I'll be able to enjoy this game again like back in 2016-2018, I don't even think I'll enjoy if I start spending money on this game. So I think this is where I quit the game completely, while I had great memories, WR just isn't the game for me anymore with the direction they're going.

Brawl stars is the right choice a great f2p system and devs that care. Sure the game might get boring at times but there are constantly content updates with new abilitys that brings you back to the game. Sometimes they may be overpowered but again the devs care and are quick to fix this to make it a fair enviroment.
Ever since I've came up of this idea, I always try to promote it. That being a hangar power system that measures the overall power level of your hangar in special type of points and then matches you up with people of similar power levels of their hangar. For those worrying about tanking, this will also take your league (like the current matchmaking system) and other data (e.g battle performance history or the amount of trophies you have) into optimizing a balanced and overall better matchmaking system. I HEAVILY doubt that Pixonic would even take a single glace at this idea, but if they were to ever sell the game in it's final moments for a final profit, then we as the community can build up the game again and make it even more profitable and fun to play with our own creative suggestions.
People would minimax their hangars with several weaker bots and one top tier build. Or weak bots with powerful weapons. That already happened in older days when there was no league system and the game used the hangar power for pairings. New players had to endure players with lvl1 bots with lvl12 weapons who farmed noobs for easy cash.
It takes leagues and trophies into account so even if they try doing that in Champions league, they would most likely get killed in that one op bot and is useless after.
They used to do hangar based match making in the first couple years until they implemented the leagues. It was nice even for experienced players because if you bought a new bot, you could build a hangar of L3 bots and be matched with others running similar hangars. You didn't have to wait a month trying to level it up to your other bots before you tried it out.
@@jjones2582 players abused that system a lot and that's why we have leagues today. You could have hangar full of lvl1 bots with lvl12 weapons and you were paired against newcomers with weak hangars.
I love how Manni went from war robots to brawl stars, because that is exactly what I've done in this past year, myself. My brawl stars acct is over 5 years old but I've only just gotten back into it now that war robots is (as Manni is so right to say) DEAD. I think brawl stars may be the best mobile game out there. Supercell has done a wonderful job with that game. The way that it is f2p but also rewarding if you DO end up spending money. A f2p player can do well with his limited but upgraded and still relevant brawlers, and a paying player can get to experience new brawlers and have fun with the INCREDIBLE diversity that exists in the game. Sure, some brawlers are definitely more popular and more played than others, but you will see, over the course of games, a majority of the brawlers in the game. I think three brawlers attest to the well-balanced nature of brawl stars: Shelley, Rosa, and Dynamike. Shelley is the very first brawler. Every acct has a Shelley because you start with her, you don't even unlock her. So she is the equivalent of the destrier in WR. Now, imagine that you see a top level champion player running a destrier. You'd think he's trolling or crazy, that bot won't last two seconds. And yet with Shelley, she's still SO relevant, to the point that she was picked 12.5% of the time in the brawl stars WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! AND SHE HAD A 50% WIN RATE! The best players in the world can play AND WIN, with Shelley. Rosa is a rare brawler, possibly the WR equivalent of a Natasha or Fury. She was good when she came out, but then she fell off as newer, better brawlers were released. What Pixonic ostensibly did with ultimate gear, Supercell DID with hypercharges. Supercell took away their old Rosa nerfs and actually BUFFED her, in order to make her relevant again (imagine is Pixonic did that!) On top of that, they gave her one of the best hypercharges in the game, and, in the most recent worlds, she was the 7th (out of 79) most picked brawler, with a 22.5% pick rate and a 55.6% win rate (which was among the best). An old, low-tier brawler being revamped and players finding success with it. You will never (by all indications Pixonic has given us) see that in WR. And finally, Dynamike is a thrower. He throws two sticks of dynamite that explode in a radius dealing damage to any brawlers caught inside. Dynamike is a glimpse into the community of players who just play to have fun. Dynamike is one of the most-played brawlers in the game (for ALL players), but he has one of the LOWEST win rates. The fact that he is a pretty bad brawler, but still so popular because it is just FUN to play him, says a lot abt the game of brawl stars. Anyway, yeah, I hope Manni finds success with brawl stars, and hopefully he can join a top level team like Tribe or STMN (my favorite brawl esports team). I have officially deleted WR once more, it is the final time I am played it, as a f2p it is just so hard finding a server without my entire team being wiped out by a SINGLE bot, not by a hacker but by someone who just spends so much cash just to max out their robot

I played Dino squad before it used to be fun but now the same thing happens f2p earn ridiculously small profit ( for example you can get only 5 gold per match if you're top on team and to upgrade something you need to spend thousands of gold ) and to get anything you want you need to spend money. Before you can buy Dino with gold now you need to spend on their stupid box and to get the key you need to buy it using money or spend half of your life trying to get 100, 1000 key to open something

Dino squad was so incredibly fun for the first few weeks when it came out. Like I could play for hours nonstop. Very few games can do that to me. The beacon system where you have to work to capture beacons, the balanced dinos, and the clear progression to get better Dino’s was amazing. It’s like how war robots was a few years ago. And then, p2w.

I didn't play WR for more then maybe 6 months and put out roughly 300$ for weapon or robots for pixonic to just say screw you and your bank account just to nerf them to the ground. I used to play back during 2020 and watched this channel a lot, I have drifted away from it over the years, but it still hurts to see the game go down this path. The saddest part to me is this channel going downhill with it, even though I dont watch anymore, its still sad that this is happening.
Ik it’s dead but Battle of titans would be a good game. No more updates but the developers are getting ride of hackers every day. It’s all really fair and the graphics are insane and there is BARELY ANY LAG. You should try it!
It’s also free to play and there is LOTS of skill needed. Even if they are pay to win, they need the skill and even if they are pay to win, there is only skins (that yes are fully upgraded) BUT, still need skill and strategy to play.

For a game to die it needs to have a massive decrease of players and popularity while war robots still are gaining players. The game is still alive but for you it is dead.

Just checked and on Google Playstore its a 4.2 Stars atm. But when you check the most recent Reviews you will find at least 60% of them are 1 Star Reviews. The Game has simply gotten so many good reviews during its "good" years then the negative ones now barely make a dent in it.

Dein content ist super, Versuch dich einfach mal in verschiedenen spielen die dir Spaß machen und bau dann darauf einfach deinen zukünftigen content auf denn deine Videos sind immer super unterhaltsam. P.S ich fand damals die Pixelgun Video zum Beispiel sehr gut, Probier doch noch ein weiteren Shooter wie call of duty oder guck dir mal das Spiel Battle cats an ich kann es dir nur sehr empfehlen und mach weiter so.

i still remember when i used to play this game bakc in 3rd-4th grade and enjoyed it so much with friends but its always been horribly run and pay to win but this video popped up on my feed and hit me in the feels seeing my old favorite youtuber and all this new stuff and him addressing how i used to feel idk if anyone cares but this really was a crazy video to see keep it up manni we love your videos
When I played wr for the first time it was one of the best games I had played ever, sure it was hard to get gold and silver but I didn't know as much as I do now. Now that I'm back after nearly 2-3 years of a break the game is completely different and just not fun most of the time. I only play to get thorium otherwise I'm just collecting bots and sometimes grinding for leaderboards. It's sad how the game has changed
The last WR video is 3 weeks old and has 31k views, the next video about brawl stars is also 3 weeks old and has 3k views. I hope he'll be okay with so few views. It's not motivating to see that videos which take so much time to do have only 3k views...

Yeah of course there is no pay2win, YET... Bro - it's the same thing Pixonic has always done... They're in the "community / player gathering phase" just like War Robots was in the first few years. Where the game was great and playable for everyone. And once they have the critical mass of players that they see as "ok" they're start to monetize the living crap out of the game and it will have the same thing happen that happened with WR.

I remember back when the greatest robots you could get were Leo, Rhino, even Raijin. I grinded day and night as a kid for Raijin and 2 trebuchets and had so much fun with it after months of hard work paying off.
And I remember the pain of coming back and seeing such a monstrous build now being one of the worst laughingstocks...

Oooof I grinded so hard and unlocked both raijin and fujin and was ruling the whole lobby😂😂 and nobody was able to kill me. But now those robots won’t last a minute in the battlefield
From a game who had 3 simple rules:
1. every robot had 1 ability that's it.
2. no pilots no super duper overpowered money spending guns or equipment.
3. everyone had equal the fire power and equal robots that everyone could get by doing a little farming.

I remember back in the day, my clan and I would run 5 Gepards and all Magnums and just run everything down as a team. We were all laughing so hard that we could kill huge bots using monster damage map crossing weapons with something that only had 350m range. But that was because we were all working as a team, with solid strats, and hopping from wall to ditch to avoid the powerful (not OP) Kang Daes and Trebs. No teleporting, all blocking shields, invincibilities, and do-all weapons. Good times.

WR peaked at 2016. Times when Zeus,Trebuchet Fury and Lancelot were considered -broken- . You could actually grind gold and earn things without $$$. If they ever revert to that version i will definitely be playing again

So I have to agree. I’ve just retired as the senior officer of an AAA (formerly S) ranked clan and the only thing holding me to this game was the clan. The way the game has evolved is so heartbreaking. Pixonic really had something beautiful, that despite years of questionable decisions, the game flourished. I personally just feel bored by the game now. I’m not quitting, per se, but I’m definitely winding down. Haven’t opened it in like a week, which is strange for me because I used to be a daily active player.
In any case, I think I’m really fortunate because while I’ve spent some money, I haven’t spent crazy amounts like many others, and I still was able to be a part of an amazing community, and make some really cherished memories and lasting friendships. I don’t regret spending in the game, unlike so many others. So I guess this is where I cut my losses and thank my lucky stars I wasn’t amongst the people who truly regret what they spent be it money or time.
Most games, especially the type of game WR is, offer to players at the highest level a very special perspective. War Robots was the first game I was able to take to that level, and it will always hold a special place in my heart❤.

I still play robots, but am going to stop playing the game soon, because it is not fun anymore, it's not fair to, imagine newer players after reaching level 9 facing mk2 bots, war robots is not the legend it used to be, my fav robot, inquisitor, now he is just pure trash :( i just miss 2017 and 2018 war robots so bad, manni tried to save the game and this is how they repaid him, plus new war robots players are very toxic, they disrespect older war robots players because they said that the game is unfair and pay to win, insulting them and telling them about how they are poor, it's just sad.

1. a speed hacker with a bunch of mk3 crisis (champions league) pretty much ended the game solo after people stopped spawning - name - JOHN RAMBO . , game ID :3ICOG1
2. a speed hacking teleporting infinite ability user with 5x HB (forgot to grab game ID but since it was a new account with 200 games i'm sure he'll be back on another account starting account name with numbers and letters)
3. a lucha telepoter with infinite ability use - teleports anywhere on the map from red original spawn and insta kills anyone , Chinese account with no name (name was blank) another champion leaguer with 30k+ games played.
after this point i turned off the game , these where the first and last of todays games.
War robots isnt fun anymore, it's just a cash grab dumpster fire.

Man it's completely Pay to win they keep adding new op weapons and robots and they nerf the old ones
Not mention they keep implementing new pay walls. We have power cells, silver, gold, memoriam, drone chips, Mk3 tokens and I gurentee they are far from over because their loosing funds so their finding way to make their spenders spend even more. WR will end eventually. Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow but it will eventually end. Pixonic won't try to save it, once they know the day has come, they'll turn off the servers and no one will ever be able to get back on ever again.

It's too much. I've been a viewer since 2017. For 7 straight years, Manni has built so much around this game, the videos, the community, the good mood, the funny moments, the live treams, the laughs, the crazy setups, the mighty vortex spectre.... All of this and pixonic doesn't even care about giving hik back. At least try to keep this channel alive, and his community togeather. Absolutely right i took so many hackers game ID, if they have shitty accounts 1 hell burner and mercury and 1 kid all L1 pixo ban them very quickly but i reported so many S clans players with full 5 maxed hangers mainly on android and pc platform they are still in the game.despite me reporting them and sending pixo video footages, i checked just now 15 of them still in game with over 20 k cups lol. About two months ago when I still enjoyed the game, I got tired of meta equipment killing me and spent a LOT of money on the game to have a meta hanger which was fun to be able to finally compete but now some of the stuff I bought are already mediocre and have things that are way stronger. I now regret spending so much on a dying game but I’ve now learnt a lesson.

War robots is a completly different game to what it used to be. Back when the only weapons that could hit you at 1100 metres were direct line of sight, but nie they have the hurricane that can kill you and you have very little chance. It was fun when the toughest opponents were the Leo and Rhino and not because they have an aegis shield or damage reduction. It was because they have more health then most other robots.
Pixonic has become a nest of hungry and ambitious executives. If you buy a weapon using money, the following week they will release another one that costs twice as much, and you won’t be able to do anything against it, even with the weapon you had already paid for.

Well, let me be straight about it: We don't need War Robots and we all should find another game to play instead of get angry about the current situation of this game. If Pixonic want the game to die, so let be.
Sadly, there just no alternatives on the market, or Pixonic wouldn't been able to pull off the thing they're pulling off right now. We have countless clones with the same business model, but overall worse quality, and also we have BoT which is really cool, fun and balanced but it doesn't have much content and won't receive any updates anymore because of the developers systems getting busted by sanctions.

Beside that, I think people from ocidental side should create a robot game to compete directly with War Robots. Such a game still not exist by any ocidental side, simpley by lack of interest in that market.

I stopped playing this years ago. Before pandemic. Back then, it was already obvious developer kept on pushing new OP robots or weapons too fast, even before you can upgrade one of your own. If only they're not this greedy, would have been a blast to play this all day long during jobless pandemic season.
War Robots took a book, actually...... no, the whole library out of Pixel Gun 3D. Killing their game by making it as P2W as possible. Lets not breathe in any copium about this game and just think these following questions through. Is it fun, maybe but mostly no. Is it worth staying around, probably not. Is it even skill based, not any more. When was the last time youve see someone bring out a Fujin, Raijin, Leo, Doc, Strider, Lancelot, Gallahad or even Griffin? Probably a long time ago. Fujin, Leo, Gallahad and Griffin are used because they were the F2P options, Strider, Lancelot and Doc were the P2W skill options back then. Raijin, it was and still is a burn wreck. Skill options arent good since your skill only bring you 5% further when money brings you the rest of the way. I always bring up World of Tanks Blitz when talking about skill since having something considered "Broken" only brings you 50% of the way, your skill still can dictate outcome. War Robots, skill doesnt dictate the outcome. It has been rigged from the start.
I was able to get the bots I wanted as a f2p, pretty much until remastered. Around that time they had finished nerfing all the good older items
Pg3d does require more skill compared to wr because of the variety of options/playstyles, 360 aim but yeah, they just give p2w what should be dev only equipment and then there’s an insane gap between the players making f2p nothing compared to expensive one tap overlord tanks
(My lvl 80 luchador with lvl 20 evora and veyrons couldn’t even deal at least 15% to a p2w raptor)💀💀💀

To be honest I’m obsessed with investing in war robots. My first purchase gave me a strong robot and weapon that made me addicted to more and more investment until I spent almost all my savings. I only ate noodle cups for days at school so I could save money to make a purchase but that’s when I realized they were just money hungry criminals who doesn’t care about their player but only care about money.
I used to spend before pilots rework and drones and stuff, but those updates really killed the fun for me. After that, I started to realize how many good games there are, which are available for a 1 -time purchase or even open source.

I was also stuck in that cycle. I have been playing since 2014 but you have to be real, they've gone too far now. In game purchases is one thing but the prices they charge are obscene. It's disgraceful. I have now stopped spending altogether and I play less and less all the time. You know something....I feel better for it. Especially when I see my bank balance now.

I own an MK2 Raptor, and I heavily rely on it because it's the only robot in my hanger that can last a minute or two, I don't have it's pilot or drone, I just have some old weapons and hope

Throughout the years of me playing war robots, I've experienced two hackers one of them twice and way too many people who are way too strong for their league just because they spent money, All they have to do is make the game more equal but instead they keep on adding money offers and adding new bots, it is nice to get new bots and guns but we need balance changes things to make everything fair
(To be honest though, 90% of my guns are level 2 and yet I still get a decent amount of kills and expert League)

I really agree and support what you said there, its such a sad and unfortunate reality on what this game has became, i really missed the 2017 - 2019 WWR as that was the best version and phase of the game where it was fun with new content while still requiring good amount of skill... About the "hacker" part though chances are those accounts could be accounts that got hijacked by a hacker taking over the original account owner and turning it into the hacker's account.

True, i quit war robots 7 months ago and never regretted it. But i just watch ur videos instead. The wallet demand was too great and it just felt like such an obvious cyclical process it felt stupid to continue playing and trying to survive the over saturated micro transactions.
This video really got to me. I too, have been playing War Robots for years now and like my other favourite games, it has fallen for the corruption of pay to win. It has sucked the fun out of it and it has no place in my life anymore. i agree with you manni. ive spent alot on this game and 1 it pretty much does nothing for me as a player and 2 the game has just turned into a sniping game where people dont have to even look at you to kill you. the game is dead sadly :( but ill always be here watching ur content. have a good day!
I started playing WR again. I created a new account and started from the beginning to see if I can feel that fun and excitement I had a few years ago. But unfortunately, I started to realize why I stopped playing. On the course of me playing this game again for three days, I've encountered 3 hackers and a lot of players with insane robots who insta kills me. As a F2P type of player, I can't see how I'll be able to enjoy this game again like back in 2016-2018, I don't even think I'll enjoy if I start spending money on this game. So I think this is where I quit the game completely, while I had great memories, WR just isn't the game for me anymore with the direction they're going.
I've watched you since I was 9, I wish you the best of luck with your future ventures and hope for your best. It's sad to see WR go it's crazy to see how little control people have over things they are so involved in the world can be so volatile. Gl man I'll miss you 😢
Brawl stars is the right choice a great f2p system and devs that care. Sure the game might get boring at times but there are constantly content updates with new abilitys that brings you back to the game. Sometimes they may be overpowered but again the devs care and are quick to fix this to make it a fair enviroment.

Ever since I've came up of this idea, I always try to promote it. That being a hangar power system that measures the overall power level of your hangar in special type of points and then matches you up with people of similar power levels of their hangar. For those worrying about tanking, this will also take your league (like the current matchmaking system) and other data (e.g battle performance history or the amount of trophies you have) into optimizing a balanced and overall better matchmaking system. I HEAVILY doubt that Pixonic would even take a single glace at this idea, but if they were to ever sell the game in it's final moments for a final profit, then we as the community can build up the game again and make it even more profitable and fun to play with our own creative suggestions.
People would minimax their hangars with several weaker bots and one top tier build. Or weak bots with powerful weapons. That already happened in older days when there was no league system and the game used the hangar power for pairings. New players had to endure players with lvl1 bots with lvl12 weapons who farmed noobs for easy cash.
It takes leagues and trophies into account so even if they try doing that in Champions league, they would most likely get killed in that one op bot and is useless after.
This will also bring an improved system where it takes both weapon and robot levels into account.
They used to do hangar based match making in the first couple years until they implemented the leagues. It was nice even for experienced players because if you bought a new bot, you could build a hangar of L3 bots and be matched with others running similar hangars. You didn't have to wait a month trying to level it up to your other bots before you tried it out.
@@jjones2582 players abused that system a lot and that's why we have leagues today. You could have hangar full of lvl1 bots with lvl12 weapons and you were paired against newcomers with weak hangars.
I love how Manni went from war robots to brawl stars, because that is exactly what I've done in this past year, myself. My brawl stars acct is over 5 years old but I've only just gotten back into it now that war robots is (as Manni is so right to say) DEAD. I think brawl stars may be the best mobile game out there. Supercell has done a wonderful job with that game. The way that it is f2p but also rewarding if you DO end up spending money. A f2p player can do well with his limited but upgraded and still relevant brawlers, and a paying player can get to experience new brawlers and have fun with the INCREDIBLE diversity that exists in the game. Sure, some brawlers are definitely more popular and more played than others, but you will see, over the course of games, a majority of the brawlers in the game.
I think three brawlers attest to the well-balanced nature of brawl stars: Shelley, Rosa, and Dynamike.
Shelley is the very first brawler. Every acct has a Shelley because you start with her, you don't even unlock her. So she is the equivalent of the destrier in WR. Now, imagine that you see a top level champion player running a destrier. You'd think he's trolling or crazy, that bot won't last two seconds. And yet with Shelley, she's still SO relevant, to the point that she was picked 12.5% of the time in the brawl stars WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! AND SHE HAD A 50% WIN RATE! The best players in the world can play AND WIN, with Shelley.
Rosa is a rare brawler, possibly the WR equivalent of a Natasha or Fury. She was good when she came out, but then she fell off as newer, better brawlers were released. What Pixonic ostensibly did with ultimate gear, Supercell DID with hypercharges. Supercell took away their old Rosa nerfs and actually BUFFED her, in order to make her relevant again (imagine is Pixonic did that!) On top of that, they gave her one of the best hypercharges in the game, and, in the most recent worlds, she was the 7th (out of 79) most picked brawler, with a 22.5% pick rate and a 55.6% win rate (which was among the best). An old, low-tier brawler being revamped and players finding success with it. You will never (by all indications Pixonic has given us) see that in WR.
And finally, Dynamike is a thrower. He throws two sticks of dynamite that explode in a radius dealing damage to any brawlers caught inside. Dynamike is a glimpse into the community of players who just play to have fun. Dynamike is one of the most-played brawlers in the game (for ALL players), but he has one of the LOWEST win rates. The fact that he is a pretty bad brawler, but still so popular because it is just FUN to play him, says a lot abt the game of brawl stars.
Anyway, yeah, I hope Manni finds success with brawl stars, and hopefully he can join a top level team like Tribe or STMN (my favorite brawl esports team). Good luck, Manni 🫡

I played Dino squad before it used to be fun but now the same thing happens f2p earn ridiculously small profit ( for example you can get only 5 gold per match if you're top on team and to upgrade something you need to spend thousands of gold ) and to get anything you want you need to spend money. Before you can buy Dino with gold now you need to spend on their stupid box and to get the key you need to buy it using money or spend half of your life trying to get 100, 1000 key to open something

Dino squad was so incredibly fun for the first few weeks when it came out. Like I could play for hours nonstop. Very few games can do that to me. The beacon system where you have to work to capture beacons, the balanced dinos, and the clear progression to get better Dino’s was amazing. It’s like how war robots was a few years ago. And then, p2w.

I didn't play WR for more then maybe 6 months and put out roughly 300$ for weapon or robots for pixonic to just say screw you and your bank account just to nerf them to the ground. I used to play back during 2020 and watched this channel a lot, I have drifted away from it over the years, but it still hurts to see the game go down this path. The saddest part to me is this channel going downhill with it, even though I dont watch anymore, its still sad that this is happening.
Ik it’s dead but Battle of titans would be a good game. No more updates but the developers are getting ride of hackers every day. It’s all really fair and the graphics are insane and there is BARELY ANY LAG. You should try it!
It’s also free to play and there is LOTS of skill needed. Even if they are pay to win, they need the skill and even if they are pay to win, there is only skins (that yes are fully upgraded) BUT, still need skill and strategy to play.

I don't think they will. It could be done before the Ultimate Edition but they were the las nail in the coffin.
I remember a few years ago me and my friend with 2 Arthur’s making a giant wall of distruction😢… We both have stopped playing that game and have regular conversations about how the game just sucks at this point. It used to be so fun though.

@@shovelknight14 the game is not gaining active players, look at the views that the creators are getting. In a few years, there will only be heavy spenders playing against ai profile, which btw were only added because the game is loosing a lot of players.

Just checked and on Google Playstore its a 4.2 Stars atm. But when you check the most recent Reviews you will find at least 60% of them are 1 Star Reviews. The Game has simply gotten so many good reviews during its "good" years then the negative ones now barely make a dent in it.
Ich verfolge deine TH-cam Videos jetzt schon seid einer Ewigkeit und liebte die gute alte war robots zeit damals und finde es einfach zu traurig zu sehen was mit dem Spiel passiert ist und wie pixonic damit umgeht.
Dein content ist super, Versuch dich einfach mal in verschiedenen spielen die dir Spaß machen und bau dann darauf einfach deinen zukünftigen content auf denn deine Videos sind immer super unterhaltsam.
P.S ich fand damals die Pixelgun Video zum Beispiel sehr gut, Probier doch noch ein weiteren Shooter wie call of duty oder guck dir mal das Spiel Battle cats an ich kann es dir nur sehr empfehlen und mach weiter so.

When I played wr for the first time it was one of the best games I had played ever, sure it was hard to get gold and silver but I didn't know as much as I do now. Now that I'm back after nearly 2-3 years of a break the game is completely different and just not fun most of the time. I only play to get thorium otherwise I'm just collecting bots and sometimes grinding for leaderboards. It's sad how the game has changed

Yeah of course there is no pay2win, YET... Bro - it's the same thing Pixonic has always done... They're in the "community / player gathering phase" just like War Robots was in the first few years. Where the game was great and playable for everyone. And once they have the critical mass of players that they see as "ok" they're start to monetize the living crap out of the game and it will have the same thing happen that happened with WR.
It REALLY breaks my heart seeing war robots falling down so bad rn and i really miss the old days back in the 2017 when i've started playing, trying to grind raijin to use it with thunders or dreaming about getting tarans.
