they literally downgraded it from 40mp on s22 ultra to 12mp on s23 ultra. But while that sounds like a downgrade, it was actually an upgrade since mp barely matters now. Past 12mp, there's no big reason to go higher, instead focus on sensor size and aperture.
@horyzengm yes, previous 40mp sensor will be 10mp after pixel binning. 12mp has bigger sensor size, so more pixels & more lights makes the photo brighter.
A detail: if you brighten the image of the Unpacked teaser, you can see the Z Fold 6 lens on some of the phones, you can also see it without brightening it but better with it bright. Ridged texture, looks like they have a chamfer, or an edge as if they are floating aka the "warp pipe" lens style

The reason why phone companies come out with phones every year with minimal improvements is 2 main reasons. 1, to fulfill the short attention span that consumers have now a days. Bezels are wrong in the renders, discrepancies. Wait for HD images, for the actual bezels and good-quality renders, Ice said the render evleaks posted are wrong but the wallpaper design is right. You can notice the discrepancies on the Plus render more than the Ultra. Could also be from a processing error

Until they go magsafe, I will remain with my S24 Ultra. That'll be the biggest upgrade for me because I won't need to put metal plates on nor a magsafe case to mount my phone.

Just because you see a few online posts about green lines doesn't mean it's a global problem. Out of millions of Samsung users, probably less than 1% have green lines. If you release millions of products every year, of course some of them will not work perfectly.
I have been using Samsung since Note 5 and never had any green line issues. My macbook air did get two vertical pink lines in just 13 months for unknown reason. And they are charging me for almost half of the price of the laptop to have it fixed.

The idea is that it gives you quick access to info without revealing sensitive details. Still, I’m sure there will be an option to disable it if you’re worried about privacy.
I hate the way AI is introduced into phones. I don't need AI or a phone to tell me when to go to sleep, when to exercise. A good phone is, a good battery, good camera, fast chip and good glass. That's it. Leave all the rest out and give people the choice if the want it. Now you have to switch everything off. Should be the other way round.

No, the only camera upgrade is the new 50MP ultrawide. Everything else, including the front camera, stays the same.

It really depends on what you need. MacBooks are great for smooth performance, and long battery life but depends on which OS you want.

The S24 Ultra looks better! That's for sure. The changes on the S25 series are more likely to be software based. I definitely stick to the S24 Ultra.

The idea is that it gives you quick access to info without revealing sensitive details. Still, I’m sure there will be an option to disable it if you’re worried about privacy.

I installed beta on s24u since it came out and it looks and works wonderful the only one issue is that now bar doesn't work properly

I hate the way AI is introduced into phones. I don't need AI or a phone to tell me when to go to sleep, when to exercise. A good phone is, a good battery, good camera, fast chip and good glass. That's it. Leave all the rest out and give people the choice if the want it. Now you have to switch everything off. Should be the other way round.
