From a Portuguese this guy is a very talented and powerful engine he’s a very useful player that will create chances from either a breakthrough pass or a breakthrough dribbling run his physicality and technique are both sublime and he’s a player that plays smart even when he takes breakthrough passes or runs. Possesses every quality a box to box midfielder should have.
This guy would be a great addition to the squad....he'll definitely add goals and more assists from midfield. Something that's been missing in Klopp's armory since he came to us.

@@eldyswarsens7160 he creates a lot of chances that turn into goals but he doesn’t get neither the goal or the assist but he’s the one who made the chance for goal possible. Certain players you’d ant just measure from goals and assists. I’m Portuguese I know what I’m talking about he’s one hell of a player if he already had made a move to a big football shark I would already be calling him between one of the top 5 midfielders in his position because outside of that the quality is already in there.

In my opinion he is the midfielder any club who wants to win trophies would go for. As for Liverpool I think they should go for both Mathues Nunes and Luka Sucic and get naby and ox out to do 1 better than previous campaign. They both are exactly the likes of players Madrid signed in Valverde and Dortmund signed Bellingham. Liverpool should hire Nunes and Sucic before any other big European club signs them.

Matheus would be a massive upgrade to both Henderson and Keita. Fabinho holding, Thiago passing, Matheus carrying, perfect combo. I can see him destroying left (defensive) flanks with Trent and Salah, or right flanks with Robertson and Diaz.
Still, let him stay where he is at least until the end of this season. He's still growing and next season he will be even better. And, of course, a bit more expensive. Just watch out for City, if they end up selling Bernardo, Cuardiola will not lose a second to bring Matheus in.

Not gonna claim to know anything about this guy, but if Klopp and Ward think he’s good enough, spend the money. Don’t even think too much about it, we need more midfielders, whether Klopp says publicly they don’t or not.

Nunes will cost half of De Jong in transfer fee alone, not the mention the fact that De King’s wages will likely net out to 4-5 times what Nunes would likely sign for, as it’s been reported Chelsea would agree to pay him what Barcelona are refusing too, and that’s on top of his Chelsea proposed salary. Liverpool have shown recently that they’ll pay big fees if they have too, but they won’t pay big wages, as once you set the precedent that you will, you’re gonna have every single player banging down Julien Ward’s door asking for a new contract.

Midfielders aren't always about goals Frenkie de Jong has similar stats, they are crucial at building up the attack.

@@almostcomic He's a box-to-box, very fast strong, decent technique, passing, good shooting. He basically is quite strong physically and good but not amazing technically. But he is also rather young.

@@ei05056 he is just okay at everything. He is not a great passer, not a great carrier, not a great tackler. A midfielder should excel in atleast one of those. Look at all the elite mids you'll find they excel in atleast one thing
