I have been using the Cinelog35 for commercial work but I am now building the 25. The 35 handles very well in my opinion and I look forward to seeing how the 25 handles and using it more for inside commercial work.
Can you make a comparison video to compare dji mini 2 and Hubsan Zino 2 plus please? Since I want to know more about what are the difference between this two drones and I want to know which drone is suitable for me. Thank you.
The PROTEK 35 is a 3.5 inch prop drone (larger) and is a racedrone with prop guards, which is different than a pusher drone like the Cinelog 25. So if you wish to fly faster & lift more weight, then the PROTEK 35 is what you want. But if you wish to fly slow and under objects (when you have the skills for it) then a pusher drone is what you want.
Thank you again! I just ordered mine and the DJI controller V1. After smashing my DJI FPV trying to learn acro, I was looking for something to start learning acro on a little less expensive before trying it on the DJI FPV again.
Love it. Can’t wait to watch your review of the new DJI FPV combo. I wonder if the new version of the DJI googles and remote will work with this current drone your flying? Love your vids!! Thanks

with a 16:9 crop in post edit; that low-to-the- ground footage would be very cinematic. Seems as stable and jello-free as anything I've seen under 5 inch.
As someone who works in video/photo production and experienced with dji drones, what would be a better choice as my first Fpv cine whoop for mostly indoor (would like the flexibility of outdoor) use? I've been considering between the Gepcr cinelog 25 or the TinyGo. Is any of them more durable than the other for inevitable crashes? Or perhaps you recommend an entirely different brand/model instead?
Since you fly DJI Drones it means you have a long road ahead to learn how to fly an FPV Drone. Unfortunately DJI (and other GPS Camera drones) slow your brain down because the drone does all the work for you. An FPV drone requires that you do all the work. I would get any all in one kit (RTF = Ready To Fly) with the knowledge that you will destroy it, so don't spend too much. If you want indoor outdoor to begin with, get a disposable kit like the BETAFPV CETUS PRO or CETUS X.

Thank you for the video. Do you need specific adaptor to connect Cinelog 25 and SMO 4k? Because the connector seems doesn't match with each other. Thank you very much.
Usually with the camera you have, like the SMO 4K, you'll find the power cable that plugs in the side of the camera in the box. You can then just splice it into the cable that comes off the drone (just match up the colors of the wires with each other).
@@hurricanezaza I started with RC Helis. Couldnt resist FPV and got the DJI FPV combo. Now looking for something sub 250g to practice acro. Im between the babyhawk 2 and cinelog 25. I'm not sure if you left it out to save time on your video. The air unit is not needed to bind to the digital version of the Cinelog 25? I have a Mavic Pro and am thinking to get into FPV acro.
If you have the version with a DIGITAL camera, then you must bind to the DJI FPV Goggles. As for a controller, you always bind to the controller that matches the receiver you have in the drone.
All DJI Goggles that are V1 or V2 work with every DIGITAL FPV drone on the planet. If you also want to use the DJI CONTROLLER for FPV, only the BLACK model works.
Cool ! FPV sure looks like alot of fun ! I suppose once I get bored with the Beast Max, it will be time to try FPV. My budget doesn't allow for both🤦♂️
Nope. Just look for a cable that connects to the balance cable on your battery, then to a powerconverter, then to your camera. Many drone companies sell them.
Do you still think that this is a quality starter drone, and not having a budget for DJI - what are your analog recommendations? I’m guessing range would be half of what you flew? TIA Yer Canadian-American transplant.
If you are new to the FPV hobby, then I recommend you consider a READY TO FLY KIT (RTF kit). I have reviewed plenty of them. In the kit, you get everything you need to go flying.
Your lite8 radio can only connect to certain receivers which means you can only connect to drones that have the proper receiver. Look up the specs for your radio to see what receivers it connects to.

Captain do you suggest Tattu R line 4S 750mah 95C lipo battery for Cinelog 25? This battery weight is about 82 grams only 2 grams more than 650mah R Line. This battery probably combines both flying agility for manueuver and more capacity for flying extended time. Depending on your computer (PC or MAC) you will need to download the drivers that are shown on the BETAFLIGHT startup screen. In addition, a sometimes simpler fix is changing your USB cable. Not all USB cables are the same.
The foam bumpers can be replaced with the foam lining you put around windows and doors to stop the leaking of cold and hot air. All hardware stores have this.

Hi Captain Drones, im struggling to decide between a Beta 95x v3 (locally only available with the smaller motors I need to then upgrade), Pavo 30 or this GepRC Cin 25, what would you recommend?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh I really look forward to your review, to see how it compares in this current popular growing cinewhoop market, I read the analogue version may just meet the 250g mark with a lightweight camera and battery. Depending on your computer (PC or MAC) you will need to download the drivers that are shown on the BETAFLIGHT startup screen. In addition, a sometimes simpler fix is changing your USB cable. Not all USB cables are the same.
Hey so where do we get replacement rubber bumpers for this drone?
The foam bumpers can be replaced with the foam lining you put around windows and doors to stop the leaking of cold and hot air. All hardware stores have this.
Aw, wish we could send you some of our spring-like weather here from Southern Ontario cap.😬 Well, thanks for the review! Love the look of the 95x better, (because of the red) but both fly great! 👍
Hi, the camera mount looks like it should fit the SMO 4K, or am I mistaken? Just ordered one and I am wondering if I need an additional mount... Keep up the reviews, thanks! :D
Not sure. I normally just ZIP TIE my cameras in place, as I did with this one.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks for the quick reply! 😁 I'll check it out when it arrives, and worst case, I'll strap it down with zip ties 😊
When the time comes I would like to try the DJI FPV controller and goggles in combination with the CineLog 25
Really cool drone. Any recommendations for a first-time FPV pilot on controller and goggles that are much less expensive than DJI? Their cost puts this whole thing out of my price range. Thanks for your great channel.
Can you put a full size gopro on this and fly? like gopro 8
It would not fly very well with that much weight
Which is better for beginner, this drone or the New emax HD? Thanks I have dji goggles already
Im Also wondering what is better for learning acro for a beginner. Babyhawk 2 or cinelong 25. I know they are two different types
i have the same setup, but my drone does not fly very well. how can you share your rates in beta flight with me???
When I make reviews of FPV Drones, I never touch the PIDS/RATES because I have to show everyone what they are getting.
Always love your reviews. Thinking to buy this, I see its good
Hey! What filter was used on SMO4K? And what is the video recording mode? thanks for the answer
ND8 or ND16. I record at 4K 30 FPS since all my videos are in 4K 30 FPS.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Many thanks!
Think i want this one just dont know what controller will work? Does it fly ok with no action cam? I cannonly find dji fpv controller 2 and ready the description makes me thinknits not compatable any help would be great
You sound like you are very new to the world of the FPV Drone hobby. If you are then it would be a good idea to watch my video series that will help you out tremendously. Do a TH-cam search for: CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS EPISODE 1
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 ok i will give it a go
Hey... great video as usual. I ordered this setup. Where can I get the mount for the smo 4k.? I don’t believe it comes with the camera☹️
I usually just use ZIP TIES.
Great review as always steve! Are you planning to review the mobula 6/HD ?
Hmmmm..... Honestly I have not even looked at that one. I'll check it out.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 nice!
Oh yeah!…this is a good FPV quad. Definitely more quieter and manoeuvring is very smooth.. Very impressive quad.👍
Do you need an adapter to connect the camera to the Cinelog cable? I saw that the camera is a 4-wire plug and the Cinelog is 3-wire
Do you mean the camera I used in the video review? It is the SMO 4K. I just modify the cables to match. Essentially you just need two wires for power.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Yes thank you.
Hey, i've been looking at start fpv lately and would like to know what you'd recommend for a cheap ready-to-fly drone to practise flying mainly for cinematics and a bit of acrobatics. Cheers. Love the content from here in australia!
Watch my 11 part video series: CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS which will help you out big time.
Hi Nice video and Flight 🔥 are those gnb 450 mAh lipos?
I have so very many batteries that I can't say which ones I used.
great flying captain drone... it feels so great see you fly that drone
How hard is it to slow this thing down? Thinking about getting it for indoor real estate shots.
FPV drones required excellent pilot skills if flown indoors. If you are a newbie, look elsewhere, or go and practice for a few months.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I have been flying FPV for 3 years now.
@@FierceCards did you ever purchase it for real estate?
Hi Captain Drones, im struggling to decide between a Beta 95x v3 (locally only available with the smaller motors I need to then upgrade), Pavo 30 or this GepRC Cin 25, what would you recommend?
Online the BETA 95X V3 comes with the upgraded parts. I have a review of the PAVO 30 coming up which will help you decide.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh I really look forward to your review, to see how it compares in this current popular growing cinewhoop market, I read the analogue version may just meet the 250g mark with a lightweight camera and battery.
Let us know how well this can manage tight gaps for filming (like the playground you test) and also how it would cope with a faster chase style filming environment (skateboard, cycling).
Unfortunately in the UK only the older Beta95x v3 with small motors is available at moment, many are out of stock.
i have not brought a FPV drone as yet im thinking this will be my first one to buy
