I love using my Super Takumar manual lenses on my Fuji XE-3 camera. I have the 150mm and it is very sharp wide open with beautiful bokeh. I think the photos need some pop by increasing the contrast. This lens today would cost over $5,000. USD if they had to make it out of the original materials.
Can't wait for my non SMC version to arrive. Ordered for £29 incl. shipping yesterday. Love the Takumar build and hopefully it has a bit of the ju-ju that the ST 50 1.4 and 55 1.8 radioactive lenses have. Ordered a tele-converter too for a bit of wildlife.
I've just bought myself 130mm, still waiting for arrival. Unlike you I'm shooting 35mm B&W film. Good old fashion pentax, and I love it to the bits. Although there is only a few places where you can develop your film and it cost you a bit more, nevertheless ill will do it for my own pleasure.

I am jealous, the 150 looks special.

The radioactivity is what makes it pop :D

Great images, beautiful vintage lens. I used to have the same one myself but it seems to have disappeared.
I haven't got yours I hope :) I'm gonna throw it on the T2 soon, was going to do a video but probably no real point :)

I love film, just haven't done much lately :( I grew up shooting, developing and printing Neopan stock on Ilford paper, loved it.
Is this lens radioactive?

no, not this one
@@kestutisnikolajevas9870 do you know which one ?
I'm still not green after four years so I think it's a safe lens 😅

This is a good lens for astrophotography stopped down a bit.
Good shout!
Would be better at Pride Park but hey! Lol!
Come now, you'd need a longer lens than that to find Derby's trophy cabinet mate :D
