Here’s my personal reasoning for why Molly’s accent isn’t as strong as Lucien’s: Lucien had the Irish accent. Molly woke up in a body that was used to speaking with that accent, but he, for lack of a better term, “grew up” with people who didn’t have that accent, so he acquired some of their speech patterns as well, which caused him to slip in and out of the Irish accent.
It is true that if one has an accent and are around people for an extended period of time that do not, or have a different accent, one’s accent tends to change by varying extents becoming more similar to others’ one is around.
If Lucien and Molly have one thing in common, it’s a flare for the dramatic. Jumping through a window and making a mysterious speech? Molly totally would’ve. Such drama queens

In some editions, the Astral Plane is described as "silvery clouds forming some sort of horizon with twinkling stars in the distance." In astronomy, an Alpha is the brightest star in a constellation. What if they are literally planning on going from star to star (alpha to alpha) in the Astral Plane searching for their home, the living city (ie homeward bound)?
I don't really think this should be labeled "Molly sees Jester." In Talks, Taliesin made it openly clear that Molly didn't have any lost time and that the memories that Lucien had were never Molly's. Molly was a completely seperate person, Molly was two years old, and he never had any lost time because not a second of that time was ever spent as him. Molly was the person he was simply because he only really had himself. Taliesin even said in a later talks that "everything felt burrowed" to Molly. And after Molly died, there was nothing to interfere with Lucien's revival and Lucien took back what was his. This isn't Molly, and due to how Molly happened, I don't think Lucien will ever be Molly again. Molly's gone and the original owner of the body is taking back the keys. Unless they somehow find out how Vess messed up the ritual, Molly probably won't come back.
I think what's really great about this is that the cast is so enamored with Matt's portrayal of Lucien every time. That they get so lost in what he is saying and you can quite literally see the moments that they forget they're actually with him, where a switch turns on in their brains that like "oh I have a character here in this moment, I'm supposed to be acting as this character." And I think just realizing that and how far behind that they felt with the Nonogans plan here they couldn't possibly fathom Lucien being just up stairs. Frankly like, in the moment, Matt was being quite cryptic like he usually portrays Lucien, which is also what leads to their missing what he's literally saying.
I can't believe they didn't realise Molly was there...though I guess with the high emotions of Molly/Lucian being back would make them not think straight
A tiny thing, because it's my favorite spell as well, but Sending let's you know if the message couldn't be received. It's part of the spell, like how you know when a phone call is ignored vs unable to be completed.

“Without your scent I wouldn’t have been able to follow her.” Yo does Cree still have their blood from when they were with the Gentleman? Because she can track people that way. Or is Lucien able to track them somehow because he used to be Molly?
Tracking works both ways. If you have someone’s blood (or hair) you can use it to scry on them and track them. But the owner of that blood/hair can just as easy use magic to track down the parts you have. Think of it as two magnets that are both pulled towards each other.
They took back all of their own blood and Molly's so my guess is that Cree took more of Molly's blood to track the vial of it that the Mighty Nein have OR that Cree swapped out the actual vials since she knew that nobody else under the Gentleman's employ was a blood cleric
@@orioninfernal7269 they recently confirmed that the vials are for sure not as full of blood as when they were first gathered, so I think she definitely has some on hand to keep track of them peeps
I think Molly would absolutely kill someone like Vess if he thought she was in the way of her goals. The Mighty Nein would do it. Vess sucks. Lucien, however, doesn't yet know it's the Mighty Nein in pursuit. I am extremely excited to find out if he recognizes them. I want to know what he is like!

I don't know, maybe he ends up being Molly with all of Lucien's memories and shit, and while he loved being with the Nein, he just has so much shit in his head tries to contact other people that knew Lucien, so he leaves the nein or something.
The specifics are kinda messy to imagine, but they could happen in a way that makes much more sense than what I said.
“he cant play two characters” sam and travis want to know your location, they just wanna talk
This might be harsh but I think it's fair: the M9 are a _horrible_ bodyguard service. I was thinking "this is gonna go so wrong" when nobody moved to warn Vess about what Lucien had said in the scry; you are here _specifically_ to protect her, you get an ominous vision of a known adversary thanking you for leading him to "her" and nobody thinks this is worth mentioning? x.x
Lol Matt even eluded to it being a really close scry when he said her scry was tossed up
Les-behonest. BoYasha is adorably awkward
It was so weird having Laura's voice coming out of that face.
I was going nuts in the stream from the moment Lucien mentioned them leading to her. Next ep will be all about playing catch up. ;_;
Ye, because the last time a villain invited them to chase him worked out so well :)
Let's see if they've learned their lesson and what are they going to do about it?
Saw Danica’s animatic and am super stoked to immediately find the clip it came from afterwards.
what Animation are you talking about?
@@hiimdavis4758 th-cam.com/video/8SPpFGPXMGg/w-d-xo.html
@@hiimdavis4758 It was by Danica Dickinson, actually. I thought I saw someone call her El for some reason, but I guess I got mixed up with a different animator.
@@kieransaul2711 oh ok
@@glamorlock Thank you
Wow, listening back to "Molly's" soliloquy it seems so obvious that he was right there. The way he was referencing DeRogna like he was in the room, *as he was*... but at the time I never imagined that possibility
I don't really think this should be labeled "Molly sees Jester."
In Talks, Taliesin made it openly clear that Molly didn't have any lost time and that the memories that Lucien had were never Molly's.
With the lovely revelation from talks machina that talison love to mess with Travis, the cuts to those two was FANTASTIC!
This campaign desperately needed a good villain. And yesterday's best friends sometimes make for today's best villains!!!
I feel like Molly is 'gone' and also like he is goddamn batman
Okay but brushing past him at dinner? Offering to pay for HIS DINNER??
when did they do that? like at what time.
There are no evidence that Lucien was passing as Vess during the dinner. For all we know, he was waiting for her in her room.
@@bdletoast09 fair, then it's just my crackpot theory
best part was beau getting flustered at Yasha's poem thing at like 1:26
this video edit is fire AF🔥
6:09 "he ducks out the window"... BRUH. That hint was as clear as the snow they're surrounded with 😂
YUP. I put 2 and 2 and 1 together really quick.
Well, now i can do Molly's voice now. Thanks Matt
The Traveler looks like Carrot Tops hair deflated.
I just absolutely love the to alpha to alpha part keep coming back for it
can laura be blue every week please
Marisha is so freaking smart when it comes to connecting the lines. Love watching her reactions when her brain clicks
A tiny thing, because it's my favorite spell as well, but Sending let's you know if the message couldn't be received. It's part of the spell, like how you know when a phone call is ignored vs unable to be completed.
i need beau and yasha to start dating immdiately
I needed it yestreday
@@NicoNeilson aw thanks for the heart! yeah me too, there was so much...elevated tension 😳
This aged well
I don't know how they didn't put together that Lucien was in Vess's room. I mean, he grabbed the book and said he got it back from her!
Remember that time they lost like 60,000 GP because of an old character coming back to life and murdering the one that was going to pay them the 60,000
laura's reaction to beau and yasha being adorable is me every single time. she's LIVING for the ship.
The blood was left with the gentlemen if I recall. They asked to take back their own blood and Mollymauk's.
They took back all of their own blood and Molly's so my guess is that Cree took more of Molly's blood to track the vial of it that the Mighty Nein have OR that Cree swapped out the actual vials since she knew that nobody else under the Gentleman's employ was a blood cleric
@@orioninfernal7269 they recently confirmed that the vials are for sure not as full of blood as when they were first gathered, so I think she definitely has some on hand to keep track of them peeps
that is not molly! he would never do such a thing! i think.... i hope they can bring back the real molly we know and love
I mean its not Molly but blood curses and stabbing was kinda his thing
I think, I'm not 100% sure but all they have to do is kill him again and wait 50 days then it'll be Molly again.
You only knew Molly for like 26 of the now 114 episodes, sky's the limit.
Molly was never himself infact. Lucien is real Moly was only a fragment of who he really was
I think Molly would absolutely kill someone like Vess if he thought she was in the way of her goals. The Mighty Nein would do it. Vess sucks.
Lucien, however, doesn't yet know it's the Mighty Nein in pursuit. I am extremely excited to find out if he recognizes them. I want to know what he is like!
the irish accent on lucien is so hot and this nonagon arc it's so fuckin GOOD, like they have to cover a murder they didn't have partake in *chefs kiss* matt you did it again
aaaaah noooo i haven't caught up on episode 114 yet, the surprise of molly seeing jester is kinda ruined for me due to the title
Wel Long May He Reign Indeed
THE TRAVELER THREW JEASTER'S UPWARDS
OH MY GOSH
I love Talesin trapped in between Yasha and Beau just 👀
00:01:00 always love the Laura/Jester reactions
1:54 LOOK AT THAT SMILE!!! So cute...
Ashley was me, my dumb self was oblivious and then when he revealed I was Shook
Marisha/Beau is going to be kicking herself for quite sometime.
Also them covering it up is gonna come back to bite them, it’s just matter of when.
I just realized that during the scry Matt said the Traveler threw her conscious upward
The music in the molly/lucien scene reminds me of the Myst games 😅
I really, really wish that Beau/Yasha moment happened when Ashley wasn't covered in green and Marisha wasn't wearing a wig. OR better yet, they had all decided to dress up as their characters for halloween
But that's what makes it all that more special
I love that Travis & Laura have the same reaction as their characters probably had when they find Vess...
Lmao 3:48 Taliesin messing with Travis again XD
Am I the only one who thought it was obvious that Lucien was in Vess' room when he explicitly said that Jesters scent led him directly to her (Vess)?
Oh, my brain hit Kill Bill alarms at that point....
Is nobody going to talk about how Tal's hand was SHAKING!
Edit: I was not aware that Taliesin has tremors, also I was stupid and spelled Tal's name incorrectly, I am embarrassed and sorry.
Taliesin's hands? He has benign tremors; his hands always shake. It's more noticeable when he gets excited or stressed.
Oh. I didn’t know that. Thanks for letting me know
You called Taliesin "Tal'Dorei"?
Oof. Autocorrect
Would be interesting if they didn't resurrect Vess, and eventually she wakes up anyway, not knowing who she is...
During this episode I was screaming at the TV that’s he was upstairs
I didn't originally know Molly had a Irish accent until people pointed out he had a terrible accent
My favorite thing is that the first appearance of Vess in an episode was the one titled Homeward Bound
Beau’s detective work is getting pretty good, now she can figure out a crime without being there!
I have watched this episode three times and I did not catch the hand motions between Sam and Marisha. Ah, that made me laugh. Love this show!
Henry crabgrass cosplay. Top notch
This was one of my favourite episodes of all the campaigns weirdly, maybe it was the costumes, the hitting on cad, the awkward girls, the reveal of mollys voice, the death of vess, it was just so good.
It is ridiculously unfair how attractive Laura is as The Gentleman, lol.
Also that plot twist is still crazy to think about.
I live for Travis's reactions and my personal goal is to get my players to react that way
I fucking love that the last thing they had interacted with Vess DeRogna over, was covering the tab for dinner. ( >ヮ
I think she was dead before M9 had dinner with her. If the meal was already paid for, she would have known that and made the Nein feel stupid for not having known it.
This is one of the moments I wish I knew Matt's thoughts,
The fact they didn't realize that Ves. was just killed in her room kind of really bothers me a lot XD
Man Matt's costume looks so fucking good! I mean they all do but Matt's eyebrows and that wig!
Seriously, live action Artie there.
Perhaps putting the fact that Molly is alive in the title of this video is a bad idea? That's probably going to spoil it for a looooooooooot of people who haven't caught up yet but still follow this channel.
Just had this happen to me and now am watching this because my curiosity is peaked. Sad it all got spoiled but this is still incredible
Yeah, people have been a bit negligent with spoilers on youtube lately. Saw somone post that one lady got revived before the episode was even uploaded onto youtube like come on lol
Hey! They fixed it! Love to see it!
