Just bought a slightly used one from my best friend for $300. He road in it maybe a total of 5 times and just let it sit on his shelf for a couple years. He recently sold his bike and so now has no use for it. Excited to use this on the track and happy he gave me such a deal! Good review!
It seems as though most people have found the reversible padding system works fairly well in both the Corsa R and the Sportmodular (which also uses the same liner system). But its effectiveness is also greatly impacted by other factors like if you have a balaclava or even hair, which may make it less noticeable
Hi! That is tough but it all really comes down t the smaller details like the design, graphics, ventilation (Shoei has 1 scoop etc.), the liner and all that kind of thing. Really if you want a super sporty road helmet or a track helmet, these are the only differences. Both are good in different ways but what is most important to you?
The answer would mainly depend on your riding preferences. The Corsa R can be used for daily rides, though since it is a sport helmet it will be on the noisier end of the spectrum. You can also see how the helmet does out on the road here: th-cam.com/video/S1QX9MovcVY/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the Corsa?
Thanks for the question! The Shark Spartan Carbon will be quieter (104 dB) than the Corsa R (105 dB). Though the Shark Spartan GT Carbon, the new version of the Spartan Carbon, came in even quieter than both at 102 dB. What drew you to these two helmets?
@@Championhelmets Shark is very pretty for my choice but I heard it is't much quiet. Draw me offer on the market in my country. Unfortunately in my country i dont see spartan gt carbon version only older models. What is corsa r for daily use not for track ?
The Corsa R has been designed mainly for the race track so it will generally be louder than a helmet like the Shark Spartan Carbon, which is designed for sport-touring. So, the Spartan Carbon has been designed more with noise isolation in mind. It will also be perfectly fine to use the Corsa R for daily use, but if you want to have less noise, then it would be best to also wear ear plugs in the helmet.
