Thank you for this terrific demo. I am starting a reduction print on traditional lino. If I brush on my drawing with Indian ink will the drawing remain when I wiped off the caligo with a wet sponge?

I'm not sure if it would stay, you'd have to do a test

@@Handprinteduk I did a test. I used a dip pen and bottled Indian ink. After it dried, I rubbed on acrylic paint to both protect the ink and show me where I've cut away the lino. I'm using Caligo ink and cleaning up just like you demonstrated. The ink is surviving well after a gentle wipe with a soapy sponge.

Can the blue ink be disposed of in the sink, or does it have to go in the trash? Also, do you have a video on how to clean the caligo oil based inks?

uhoh! Hopefully this helps you next time. I'd avoid the sink completely and just bring a jug of water to the table. Zest-It might be able to help you clean up too.
