Privileged bache qualify such exams in very first attempt, for underprivileged they have to first go for some class iv exam to earn for family at right time . Take her case , her monther is working as principal ( Senior profesor ) her monthly salary is more than 1.5 lakhs ( read it again 1.5 lakhs ... 18 lakhs a year .

Congratulations to topper...... one thing media must be note that this is just a job and don't gave that much hype to KAS job....because lot of aspirants who miss the qualifying around by marginal number....it create depression among that aspirants to not qualify....so please stop showing interview and photos who qualify this exam.....there are lot of skilled worker like driver, labour, etc...respect every job every profession......every profession deserve respect and dignity.....media is important for overall development of humanity....please understand...

I think this glorification of civil services must end now ….we are slowly but are advancing in IR 4.0….few days ago we landed on moons South Pole which in itself is a feat but until now how many of us really want to be engineers and scientists…… After all it’s not hidden from anyone how corrupt and high headed our bureaucracy is …. We must never allow other services and professions at CSE disadvantage….we must not loose our bright minds in this craze for UPSC and Other states psc
