How to change a wiper blade, front and rear, on a 2013 Vauxhall/Opel Zafira Tourer aka generation C

There’s always a risk doing your own car maintenance/jobs, so this is intended as a brief ‘how to’ - perform at your own risk :)

How do you get the rear wiper arm out that far? Mine only comes away from the glass for about 2 or 3 inches. I can't even get the old blade off. Advice would be most welcome. Thank you.

snap off the cover of the arm shaft holding screw. Than
Just put some lubricant to the arm hinge, pull the arm a little more. It will come out

Had the same issue. In the end i kept the original rear arm and just changed removed the wiper blade rubber. Its a bit fidgety but easy enough to do feed it through.

Sorry, I’ve not been getting notifications for some reason!
On these it’s pretty stiff sometimes, so some lubricant and gentle persuasion is needed!
